Great food, scenery, and service. I really enjoyed trying different tapas as a way to get to try many delicious options. The inside and outside seating has great ocean views. The staff was very attentive.

Great service, amazing food! Cool vibe in there, pretty authentic tapas. The jamon croquetas were definitely my favorite.

My favorite spot this whole trip!…read more My boyfriend and I are on our first weekend getaway together. We decided our last dinner in town would be here. Our friend Bubba highly recommended it, saying "square grouper slaps." If you know him, you know that is extremely high praise. Let me tell you, square grouper does indeed slap. We were seated on the patio, facing the marina. We got to watch a magical sunset as we literally stuffed ourselves stupid with a variety of insanely yummo seafood. We got the coconut shrimp, portobello fries, scallops, and the tile fish, all per the amazing Ari's recommendations. Did I take any pictures NO I was enjoying a wonderful evening with my yummy man. They were all absolute wins. I've never had coconut shrimp before, and these were absolutely delightful- tender and tropical, which is not a flavor I thought I would enjoy but was happy at that uno reverse. The portobello fries were crisp and juicy?? And meaty from the mushroom?? Idk man a bitch was into it I ate them all. My scallops were divine- they came with this pork belly and sweet potato hash and just pleasured every tastebud with every bite. His tile fish was good, it was crispy and gorg. He ate the whole thing so fast, while commenting in between bites how much he was enjoying it. We also got the key lime pie (mine) and the brownie (his). It was literally my favorite key lime pie of the whole trip, it was so good. We couldn't finish the desserts and took them home, I'm really excited to have them as the best midnight snack of my life. Amazing Ari- you are a gem. Her service was unmatched. She was so happy, informative, and attentive. Her recommendations did not miss. She took phenomenal pictures for us in front of the water that I can one day show our kids and say "look how hot mom and dad were before you guys!" She needs a 200% raise. Thank you for making our last night here so wonderful!

The fish was fresh and delicious, served with fries and cole slaw. The waitress Jenny was incredible very attentive. Everything was so good that we went again although we were staying in Florida City the ride was worth it. Second time I had the square grouper again and my husband had the shrimp platter. Yummy!!! We were really looking forward to trying this restaurant, but unfortunately our experience was…read moredisappointing from start to finish. The online waitlist initially estimated a 60-75 minute wait, not an issue, had a cocktail upstairs and really wnjoyed ourselves. When we checked in, we were told we were next eventhough thebonline portal told us to come. After waiting another 15 minutes, we were told our table was just being cleaned and to wait where we were. A few minutes later, another employee told us we had to move because a different party was holding the door open, so we ended up standing behind the bar with our backs against the wall. It just felt awkward and disorganized. When we were finally seated in the back room, we thought it would be nice since it was quieter, but it was extremely hot. I'm usually the person who is always cold, yet I was sweating through dinner. Service also left a lot to be desired. The food runner handed our hot dinner plates directly to us instead of placing them on the table. I was sitting at the opposite end of the table from him, so I had to reach out and take a hot plate. I even asked if it was hot, and he still practically dropped it into my hands. I had burned my fingers earlier that day, so it hurt!!.. but it was that or drop my pasta!? Our server also repeatedly reached across guests' faces to clear plates instead of walking around the table. At one point my sister didn't even realize she was there until an arm reached in front of her, which was awkward. To make matters worse, two of our dinners arrived about seven minutes before the remaining meals, so part of our table was left waiting while the others' food got cold. We asked for grated Parmesan for our two PASTA dishes. No one mentioned there would be a charge. It took another six minutes to arrive, and when the bill came we discovered we had been charged $2 per serving. We asked for two servings, but three were brought to the table--and we were charged for all three. Six minutes may not sound like much, but after already waiting for the rest of the meals, another delay while watching our server take new tables' orders instead of bringing the cheese felt frustrating. To end on a positive note, three of the meals were good. My mother-in-law really enjoyed the grilled wahoo, my husband liked the BBQ mac and cheese, and my sister liked the fried artichoke. Overall, it wasn't one major issue--it was a series of small service problems that added up and made for a disappointing experience. We hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future guests.

We sat down outside and had a beautiful view of the ocean and a little bit of sunset. Our server came over and was full of energy and spunk, and took our drink orders. We placed an order for a couple of appetizers, tuna tartare and fish dip, which were both amazing. Most of us ordered the Apperal spritz for drinks, I ordered their cucumber gin cocktail. Surprisingly, mine came out the sweetest, which I wasn't expecting from the name of the drink. The server offered to correct this, and brought me an extra shot of gin to mix into my drink, which did cut down on the sweetness and make it taste much better. When on vacation, I will not refuse :) Three of us got the black and made dinner. My fish was a little dry on the edges unfortunately but the center was good. I could tell it was a good piece of fish just a little too blackened or too over cooked. A couple people got the fish tacos which I heard were a huge hit for dessert. We ordered the Keylime pie and chocolate cake with ice cream to share. The Keylime pie was amazing, but next time will probably skip the chocolate cake and ice cream. All in all great place for dinner but the water. Our server was attentive and full of energy the entire night. Would definitely go back!

We ordered the mangrove snapper two ways. Blackened and fried. Since the 4 of us were sharing the fish dish, we ordered an extra $4 side. The side salads were awesome and so was the rice and the bean dishes. They cut the lettuce into small chunks then top the salad with chunks of tomatoes. The fish was really good. I love blackened fish and the pieces just melted in my mouth. Great seasoning and so tender. The fried fish had a light batter and was seasoned to perfection. Definitely bringing our fish catch back here. Yum!

You go around the corner to the bar area to order any drinks. We found a spot outside at a picnic table by the marina to eat. The food is fresh but overpriced. The lobster roll was good but had more roll than lobster. The lobster chowder was better than the lobster bisque I had at a different restaurant but still not as good as what I make at home. I tried the famous lobster Rueben. It was toasted perfectly on rye. It was fine but I think the sauerkraut over powers the lobster when the lobster needs to be the star of the sandwich. The beating I had here was probably the coconut shrimp with mango sauce. It was perfection. Deliciously crispy and the mango chutney was perfect with it. After we finished eating we went into the seafood market to check out their fresh seafood selection and grabbed a pie of key lime pie to go which comes in a little tart tin. It was really good flavored and the crust was obviously homemade. Not your typical graham cracker crust which was a nice change.

Wowwwww!!!!…read more Apparently this is under new management now, and wow... you can absolutely tell! I've been back four times in the past week because the food is just that good. Honestly, it's a 10/10 every single time. My current favorites are the fritters, the homemade soups (always amazing), and the Shack Fried FishI'm completely obsessed! The fish dip is also incredible, and what makes it even better is that the fish is fresh, locally caught, and never frozen. You can truly taste the difference. The atmosphere is one of my favorite parts. There's a great bar area if you're coming to relax, but there's also a separate family-friendly section, so it's perfect whether I'm dining alone or bringing my kids!!!! . I've already brought five different people here, and every single one of them has loved it. The service has been outstanding every visit. Everyone is genuinely kind and welcoming, and the owner is right there working alongside the staff, making sure guests are taken care of. It's refreshing to see someone so hands-on and passionate about their restaurant. As someone who absolutely loves food, I can honestly say there hasn't been a single thing I've tried that I didn't enjoy. Great food, fresh local seafood, wonderful people, and an awesome atmosphere. This is exactly what we needed, and I'm so happy they're here. Highly recommend! I'm truly obsessed can you tell

My husband had the shrimp po boy and the breading and seasoning were perfect. The service was really good, despite them only having one server. We finished our meal with a slice of the BEST Key Lime pie ever topped with a chocolate ganache. Just GO. This is a family restaurant that has been around for years and years.
