Great place to spend an evening and watch the sunset. We walked over for dinner our first night staying the Coconut Palm Inn and enjoyed it. They have a number of beers on draft, wine, and seltzer available. The seafood from the food truck exceeded our expectations. This is a great spot by the water. They had a really good band playing some really good classic rock music. The bar didn't have margaritas, thye only had seltzer and beer. The food frome the food truck was awesome. I ordered the grilled fish sandwich and it was very favorable with some good fries. My wife had the lobster roll and really liked it. What a great place! Dive Bar is exactly how the Keys were 30 years ago! There were no tourists here & I actually knew a lot of people! There was live music (starting at 6pm). The drinks were cold and very affordable. We all got food from the food truck. The bang bang shrimp were a hit. I had the cheesesteak without the bun. It was huge and very tasty with onions and mushrooms! Can't wait to come again! read more

I've raved about this place in the past the lobster rolls and grouper bang bang shrimp but last night was a miss we were there with 10 people all ordered same time there food came out and they ate our buzzer wasn't going off went to window to check and rudely told not ready yet everyone finished eating finally it buzzed the grouper on my taco was the tail end (part we normally don't even keep) overdone I was afraid to give it to my dog afraid he would choke The lobster rolls still good the shrimp used to be a nice size but not last night tiny shrimp not sure what happened Hopefully it was just a bad night. Could not have asked for a more fabulous casual little hideaway right down the street from the beautiful coconut palm inn. The food truck was fantastic, we were delighted to find out that they were serving stone crab claws, which were cooked to perfection and served with a scrumptious mustard sort of aïoli. Drinks were reasonably priced, the bartender was very friendly, and there were enough TVs for all the boys to watch all the games they could've wanted While taking in a beautiful view of the marina and water. Long-time local but first time here. You seat yourself, order from the food truck, then get your drinks at the bar and clean up after yourself when you're done. That said, it very much reminded me of the Keys gone by. Very local, very casual. I had the blackened grouper tacos and they were delicious. Since it was lunch with the office, I'll have to come back to stay as long as I'd like and have something a little stronger than bottled water. read more

Hidden gem with a great atmosphere, crowd, and staff. The food is amazing and the view is spectacular. One of the few bars that you can actually drink a beer and put your toes in the sand. There's great entertainment almost every day. I always have to get in a game of cornhole when I go. Don't pass this place by. Once you go you'll always want to come back. read more

This place was recommended by an a lady at the Elks Lodge in Tavernier as a food truck with good food. Turned out to be great food in a very nice location on the water. Nice clean tables. Real bathrooms that were well maintained. We'd definitely eat there again. read more
