    Buffalo cauliflower wings.

Ambience great, service amazing. Food. Nope. Buffalo cauliflower super soggie, nachos add chicken worst nachos I have ever ate. However the double patty melt burger was absolutely delicious.

Realistically this is a 3.5 for me, I love the location as it's right next to First Avenue (technically a part of it I think) and still walking distance to many other things in downtown, and the service has always been good (especially when they're busy gearing up for a concert) however the food has fallen a little flat for me our last few visits. I know when we're going to a show at First Avenue this is usually our go-to spot so it won't stop me from going but I also don't get excited if that makes sense. I want to love this place more than I do, if the food can get back to the days of yesteryears then I'll glad enjoy going here again! Something I love about The Depot is all the decor throughout, there's so much to look at. You can also buy advanced tickets for other shows which is a nice bonus if you're a regular! As others have said, the food is a little lacking - I think we ordered a variety of burgers and sandwiches and appetizers and really only the sandwiches landed everything else seemed to be very bland and or lukewarm. Like I mentioned earlier, it hasn't always been this way but as of late it seems to be more common so here's hoping it can change again!

Forget the 'Juicy Lucy'... the Encore Burger is where it's at! Topped with short rib and cheese curds, this is the juiciest, cheesiest, most delicious burger you will find in this city. Don't believe me? Try it!

They're open on the 4th! Thank god

Wow this is definitely not just bar food! In a venue that's one of Minneapolis's coolest music venues. We came here just because it was the 4th of July and one of the only places open but it did not disappoint. I had a dark and stormy and it was only $6 and served in a Cooper mug. I had the short rib cheese sandwich and it was amazing.

When I go to new cities, I typically seek out food that is specific to the region and thus a little more interesting to me. You can get a burger anywhere, and a cheese filled patty, aka a "Juicy Lucy", didn't sound like something I needed to try. But my husband kept talking about it and really seemed bent on having one so we decided to come here to try it out. We showed up during their happy hour, from 4-5pm, and they had $5 draft beers. Score! It's a cute place with ample seating, nice natural light from the large windows, and a relaxed atmosphere. I ordered the Juicy Lucy, a burger patty stuffed with cheese and topped with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, and pub sauce. I chose the Impossible patty version, but you can also get it with their house made black bean burger. Hubby chose the Garlic Girl, a black bean cheeseburger topped with bacon (also made in-house), berbere aioli, lettuce, and pickled onion. Each burger came with fries. Both burgers were spectacular and delicious in their own way. The bacon on hubby's burger was incredible, and his burger was rich and satisfying. By my Juicy Lucy, oh my... Every bite was a flavor explosion and intensely delicious without being a gut bomb shockingly. To top it off, the fries were super crispy and just perfect. WOW is all I can say. Note that while the prices may seem a little higher than what you might expect, Francis Burger is a no tipping establishment, as stated on their menu. For the quality of the food and the great service, it was well worth the price! I'll be back if I'm ever in this area again.f

Before we even got there, we could smell this place, a GREAT sign! The hostess was lovely and guided us to our seats right away! The first thing I noticed was the decor is slightly dark and moody! Perfect for a romantic date! Plenty of candles flickering on each table! The kitchen is open, so it was fun to watch! Our only complaint is that the tables are fairly close together and a 2 person table is so small! It kept us from ordering more food, because there would be no place for it to go! Our server was nice. She originally forgot our drinks but admitted it and got them right away. We appreciated the honesty. Our water glasses were always full, we were given wet naps after our delicious wings and plates were taken promptly! Food: We each started with a drink. I got the banana bread old fashioned which may just be my favorite cocktail! My boyfriend got a beer and said it was "ok." We started with the truffle fries and smoked wings in the flavor rum chili. Holy moly! Both of those were spectacular!!! The ranch was just ok, I would probably get the blue cheese next time. Truly though, you don't need to dip these wings, the flavors are amazing on their own!! For our main course, we got the 14oz New York strip steak cooked to a perfect medium and the scallops! Both were out of this world! Very well done! I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone! It is truly a gem in the cities!

It was a Sunday night, so I think she wanted to reserve tables for parties of two or more. I was fine with it, but I noticed there were quite a few empty tables. A few days later, I had lunch with a colleague here. We got seated at a table, and the service was really good. The fig played nicely against the goat cheese, but the real standout were the pickled pecans. I didn't know you could pickle pecans. We ordered extra bread on the side.
