Grew up in the area and I've been coming here for as long as I can remember, it stands up to any New York style slice I've had around the city I will usually go for something on the simpler side such as a pepperoni, extra cheese, or bacon slice and always leave satisfied; but they also have a wide variety of out there slices. First visit. Parking is tough, meters mostly. Ordered a chicken roll with marinara sauce on the side. Service is quick at the counter. I forgot the cost, it was very reasonable though. a simple pizza shop on crosby ave that i visit from time to time when i visit my beloved bronx. not fancy and old school decor which i like , good amount of tables and space to sit and eat with a menu of a variety of pizza and toppings , heros, calzones , rolls, pasta dishes , entress, etc. i prefer my 2 cheese slices and large diet coke as always and i am never disappointed..same guys behind the counter and still remember me and well i still remember the cheerful bunch as well..still good pizza after all these years and glad they are still around. read more

I have lived all over NYC & eaten pizza all over this Great city, but I have to say this little Gem, tucked away in a great area of the Bronx (Pelham Bay) has some of the best pizza in NYC. I ordered a pie at 450, I was told 35 minutes( nothing complicated) I was told 35 minutes, if you're busy extra time is understandable. Plenty of seating inside, the regular slice bought me back to when i was a kid. Not all pizza is created equal. Guys stop reviewing based on factors the place cannot control like PARKING. They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Actually, the picture makes it look better than what I saw when I got home. The pan was closed improperly so by the time I got home the order was messy. The paper bag was wet with the sauce and because of the spillage the cloth bag l carried the order in was a mess too. I was willing to accept that but when I saw the wings I became upset and pissed. The wings appeared under cooked with a minimum amount sauce applied. It looked like a shade of pink. I ordered 20 wings subsequently wasted $20 and didn't have the food my granddaughter prefers to offer her. The way it looked I knew she wouldn't eat it or anyone else. Now I'm unhappy and pissed off. I wasted money, paid for poor quality food, and received bad customer service. They've been in the neighborhood longer than I have. I've lived here for 17 years and I've patronized them once before. Since the pandemic I try to patronize different eateries to show support. This decision was a mistake and I won't be going back there again. Time to give a shout-out to the old neighborhood. Back in the day, Crosby Pizza Stop was my go-to joint for a knockout slice. I just loved the taste of their pizza. Still do. And one of the unique things they've always gotten right is the hotness of a slice. You never wind up with a scalding triangle poised to burn the roof of your mouth. At Crosby, it's perfect temperature, perfect taste and perfect foldability. (Don't get me started on bad foldability. NOT cool.) At the beginning of "Saturday Night Fever," John Travolta orders two slices at his neighborhood joint, puts one on top of the other, then folds them together and eats.
