    Flight!
    Steve C.

Nice brewery that opened in 2018 in the downtown area. Friendly atmosphere and typical industrial feel. They have a broad offering of their craft beers and craft sodas. I went with the flight and tried for their beers: the Cream Ale, Rye Saison, IPL, and dark DIPA. I wasn't a fan of the cream ale as it had a smoky flavor. Both the rye and dark DIPA were unique and complex. My favorite was the IPL, hoppy, yet very smooth.

Our first visit to XEO and we were very impressed! The employees were are welcoming and extremely helpful. The have a great selection and the sodas are a nice addition. Definitely try a shandy! They have a large open space for gathering that was clean as well as a nice outdoor area.

This Brewer has a great vibe for hanging out. When you enter you're greeted by a large bar with their pull handles and beer listings above. Everything is well organized and clean. Which is nice when coming from out of town and not sure what to expect. There is an ample outdoor seating area as well. Service is quite prompt and friendly. The staff know their beers beers and can guide you if needed but I recommend not.limiting yourself and getting a flight when you arrive. Speaking of flights at this time they have a Weizenbock, (Rye whiskey barrel aged) that is very good as well as the Cthulhu (Black Dipa) which are spectacular. I would highly recommend trying them. Lastly, they have food trucks but I came at an off hour but at any time you can order food and have it delivered. So definitely a cool place to visit.

The Cross-eyed Owl is a great brewery! They haven't been open long but you can tell they know what they're doing. We got there just after they opened for the day on our way to Florida, so we didn't stay long just shared a flight between us.

Good beer. Really cool atmosphere. Craft Soda is also amazing. Cant wait to go back. Bartenders were really helpful.

Beautiful location which smelled heavenly when we walked in as they had been brewing that day! Great service, beer was good with lots of styles to choose from. Not only can you get fresh beer but also hand-crafted sodas. We didn't try the soda as I don't do sugary drinks but they sounded interesting! Very much liked that you could choose a small amount or go all the way up to 64 oz. to purchase.

We adore this bar. Amazing story- wonderful service- excellent beer- great environment- rotating food trucks- a patio you can't beat- I could go on and on. We feel like we're family every time we come, makes the drive from Huntsville more than worth it every time. HIGHLY recommend you visit! They also support local talent, can't beat great beer and beautiful music. 5 stars!

That person sold fried fish and chicken with chips it was ok. I think some pizzas would be great. Plenty of beer to choose from their house menu. They have some wine and canned sodas. We have loved their Blood Orange Berliner Weisse for years and have always said we needed to make it to the brewery. Today was the perfect chance. It was a Sunday afternoon, and luckily, they were open. There were just a few people, but as they day progressed, more trickled in. Michelle, the beertender, at the time was great. She suggested all sorts of beers based on my taste and let me sample them all. One suggestion she had was to mix the Mango with the Blood Orange. It was really good. The two that I ended up drinking were the Duck River Dunkel and the ISB English Ale. I also liked that they had pretzels and popcorn as bar snacks. We met some really nice people and talked for a while. It reminded me of the old summer days when everyone would just sit and talk and enjoy life. It sure beat the fast-paced and scheduled life that goes on today.

The bright tv screens seemed to be the only colorful and bright colors in the room. There were 8 customers at 2:00 when we arrived. We ordered pizza and salad and found a table to sit at while we waited on the pizza and salad. Dave went to the bar and purchased one of Yellowhammer's IPA's. I am sorry we cannot remember the name. The beer was higher octane and served in a smaller portion. If the beer struck my palate, I would definitely remember the name. I didn't care for the taste at all. 3/5 I love IPA's from the brewery in Louisiana. I love their helles doppelbock too! It must be the swamp water used? We have tried a few beers from Yellowhammer. Their taste isn't what we prefer. It is great to have the brewery here in town so people who do like the brand can stop by and consume the beers. I will return again to try something else. Sometimes it takes more than 1 visit to adequately decide whether or not a place is considered a fav.

I stop everytime I head down south from Nashville, usually working in the side room for half the day so I can avoid rush hour in Nashville. From a beer standpoint, this is one of the top breweries in Tennessee. They are well known nationally, as well. The building is a warehouse looking structure on the outside, but they have nicely decorated the tap room. Ample seating both inside and out and they have bands on some weekends. I have tried the flatbreads, a couple of sandwiches, and the Dinosaur wings (only kidding, but they are the largest chicken wings they can buy, so ample sized). I prefer the wings most of the time - except their rendition of Nashville Hot - but this time opted for a meatball sandwich. If you are trying to be an Italian food afficianado, this might not be in, but the sauce works well with these meatballs and there is ample cheese. As one normally focusing on Keto, adding a fork meant I could eat the kibbles and bits and leave the bun. Two thumbs up. As for the beer, they have some of the best IPAs and I finally tried the porter this go around. Many of their beers are rated above 4.0 on untappd and it is not just a local bump kind of thing. The brewery, as a whole, is 3.92 and also well deserved. To my normal "Will I be back" question, I think the answer is already clear. I do return almost every time I pass by.
