The beer is great - I tried several IPAs and they also have alternatives for enthusiasts of other adult beverages. I will be returning every time I visit Huntsville.

The bright tv screens seemed to be the only colorful and bright colors in the room. There were 8 customers at 2:00 when we arrived. We ordered pizza and salad and found a table to sit at while we waited on the pizza and salad. Dave went to the bar and purchased one of Yellowhammer's IPA's. I am sorry we cannot remember the name. The beer was higher octane and served in a smaller portion. If the beer struck my palate, I would definitely remember the name. I didn't care for the taste at all. 3/5 I love IPA's from the brewery in Louisiana. I love their helles doppelbock too! It must be the swamp water used? We have tried a few beers from Yellowhammer. Their taste isn't what we prefer. It is great to have the brewery here in town so people who do like the brand can stop by and consume the beers. I will return again to try something else. Sometimes it takes more than 1 visit to adequately decide whether or not a place is considered a fav.

This is a fantastic venue--true to its name, it's a repurposed school campus. The space has been…read moretransformed to offer a wide variety of entertainment, food, breweries, and more, all while keeping the original bones of the school intact. I've visited several times, and while it changes a little with each visit, there's always something new and fun to do. We walked the entire campus, which was surprisingly nostalgic. Everyone at each restaurant and brewery is welcoming and friendly. We made a point to spend some time at Straight to Ale Brewery during each visit--they have great beers and elevated bar food. Overall, it's a fun place to explore, whether you stay for a few hours or just stop by briefly.

They also have outdoor dining space. We hopped from the first floor to the second floor, room to room, and it was a fun experience. There was live music, the gaming rooms were mostly full while the arcade room was pretty empty. This space is also dog friendly, so you can bring your pups. The food and drinks were decent too. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area again especially to sell my magic cards.

I was in the mood for something cold but not beer at 4pm, so I opted for the apple chider which is apple cider and chia tea and IT WAS SOOOO GOOD! My sister got the dark cholesterol cherry cold brew with a splash of cream and it was super good too! My fiancé got a watermelon beer and it even had a pink tinted foam on top! The Halloween decor was super cute inside (Cobb webs, spiders, candles, spooky vases) to make it the perfect place to go during the month of October! Staff were amazing and knew the menu to a tea!

I asked for a flight, and she made a face. I asked if she would be mad if I got one and she said yes. She then did not offer a single sample of anything and looked annoyed I was asking about the different types of beers. I got a point of the dry Irish stout, tiramisu milk stout and the dominant red ale. All middle of the road, nothing stood out. The place was super dark and dim lighting, hard to see. Service was bad and I get it, it's a holiday and you're by yourself. But management failed that bartender and set her up for failure. One bartender for a holiday around drinking. If I'm ever in town again, probably won't stop by.

Mostly the food. That said, since this location has opened, it's been somewhat puzzling to observe and experience. This location is massive and a wonderful use of space and location, huge bonus. The food here is 9/10, easily. Some of the best burgers and pizza in town. I've also had their wings, RIP white sauce. I've had their beet salad, RIP beet salad. I've also had their Asian chicken sandwich, it's not RIP but it wasn't that great. Their menu changes pretty regularly, which is a blessing and a curse. You sometimes miss great dishes and other times, it's nice to have constant new favorites. The staff here is such an odd thing. Coming from almost two decades in Austin, we had a huge brewery scene and culture. That said, some of the folks working here seem either annoyed by their customers or that they're doing everyone a huge favor by being here. That's such weird thing. Even my partner, who doesn't get bothered much got annoyed by one of their more surly beertenders. Continuing the lamentation of days of yore, they just don't have much fresh turnover of beers here. I often see the same beers month after month, if anything that's a sad testament of the current state of the craft beer economy. Lastly, regarding service, it makes absolutely zero sense as a patron living in SEC country, that leadership of this wonderful space would CHOOSE not to put their TV's on a sporting event with ties to the region. I had an employee assist with a TV only for the manager to chastise him for doing it right in front of me. I can't for the life of me understand why someone would rather be that right about making customers happy, there with other patrons nearby thanking me, only to subject your paying customers to have to watch an infomercial on your ginormous TV's. Holy cow, read the room! Anyway, thanks for coming to my TEDTalk.
