I visited Yellowhammer brewery over the holidays and enjoyed the large variety of beer on draft. They had everything from lagers, pilsners, IPAs, dark beer, and sours. I tried 4 different types of beer and all of them were tasty. There's a pizza restaurant attached to the brewery if you want to order food while visiting the brewery. Large selection of canned beer to-go and I bought a six pack of the Oktoberfest. Yellowhammer is a must go to if you're in the Huntsville area and I'll definitely come back the next time I'm in Huntsville!

We always love coming here - and a rainy Saturday afternoon called for pizza and brews! Our brew picks today Dark hammer - Belgium stout 14th anniversary - stout dark, bitter coffee notes, LOVE Cloudburst - sour; refreshing with notes of lemon Our pizza pick: Tommy G : red sauce, spinach, pepperoni, sausage, bacon, cheese & basil Delicious red sauce, spicy sausage & the basil is a nice fresh touch. One of my favorites is The Latham - no sweet potatoes add goat cheese -- Side item: Italian salad; this is definitely big enough to share between 2-3 Our servers at both Earth and Stone & Yellowhammer are always nice, quick (when it's not super busy), and will let you try any brews. They have some nice merch right now - trucker hats, T-shirts, frisbees, beanies Grab a to-go box (if you need one) back where you order the pizzas Tips: dog friendly, kid friendly, safe space We noticed when we came they had tilled the big yard space between yellow hammer and straight to ale (not sure what they are doing there) BUT usually kiddos and dogs are out playing ball, riding scooters, chalk, etc. Bring some games to play with friends Grab a brew at this casual, fun, spot.

I recently visited Yellowhammer and was thoroughly impressed with the variety and quality they offer. Whether you're into craft beers or prefer non-alcoholic options, this place has something for everyone. Their selection of custom beers is fantastic--each brew has a unique twist that sets it apart from the usual offerings. What really stood out to me was their dedication to catering to all tastes. The non-alcoholic drinks are not an afterthought here; they have a surplus of well-crafted options that don't skimp on flavor. It's clear that a lot of thought goes into each beverage, whether it's their custom beers or their own line of alcohol. I ordered their tropical sour which was a passion fruit mango flavor and I am a passion fruit anything person. It was crisp, tart, and perfectly refreshing for the 94° weather. My boyfriend ordered the flight of the donchords ipa and trampoline dream. He highly recommends the trampoline dream ipa but overall both were delicious and unique in flavor. The ambiance is warm and inviting, perfect for catching up with friends or just enjoying a quiet evening. The only reason I'm not giving a full 5 stars is that the food menu (earth and stone) could use a bit more variety to match the excellence of the drinks. But overall, Yellowhammer is a must-visit for any beer enthusiast or anyone looking for a great place to unwind with a drink in hand. I'll definitely be back if we're in Alabama!

Great variety of beers on draft along with a nice cocktail menu too. The variety of sizes allows for you to try many of their brews. A pizza place is co-located so you have a slice or pie too. A must return.

Came here for a beer, stayed for 7. Great tasty beers and a great spot to hang out. Don't get the slushie! It is way too good. They have a nice covered patio we enjoyed for a little bit before having to run inside due to rain. Definitely a good spot to enjoy a wide variety of beers and drinks. Bartenders gave good descriptions and recommendations of the beers, which is always a plus

The beer slushie is everything!! Truly the perfect place to drink on a sunny summer day. Highly recommend the beer slushie - the most refreshing, delicious drink for the AL heat! They have a huge menu and service is friendly too. But seriously, come & stay for the slushie.

We were In the area for the day and decided to make it a day date to catch a brewery during lunch time.... These type of dates have become my favorite since no babysitter is required lol! This gem was a great pick! Half is a brewery and other half is a pizza place. Very spacious and clean as well. Service was good as well helping to pick the right brew. The calzone was so delicious! I would only like a few more pepperoni inside but I may mistakenly got the side with less lol! Salad was perfect. Saw a few Christmas parties which was a good location for. I also noticed they had a few holiday gift ideas that could be good for those last min pick ups. Two bottles of wine for $27 in cute package caught my eye. If I'm back in the area would definitely return.

My visit to Yellowhammer Brewing was cool. I enjoyed a nice IPA on their patio, in this Alabama heat! The space consists of inside and outdoor seating ; with an adjoining a pizza place. I didn't any pizza. The service was friendly and prompt. I'll definitely be visiting again soon!

Yellowhammer is always on the itinerary when my travels take me to Huntsville and some always makes it's way back to Mobile! Wish Dark Hammer was on the shelf in town! #shouldhaveboughtmore

Food was good, and wasn't expensive. You do have to order food at one counter, and go to the separate bar for drinks.

I've visited several times, and while it changes a little with each visit, there's always something new and fun to do. We walked the entire campus, which was surprisingly nostalgic. Everyone at each restaurant and brewery is welcoming and friendly. We made a point to spend some time at Straight to Ale Brewery during each visit--they have great beers and elevated bar food. They also have outdoor dining space. We hopped from the first floor to the second floor, room to room, and it was a fun experience. There was live music, the gaming rooms were mostly full while the arcade room was pretty empty. This space is also dog friendly, so you can bring your pups. The food and drinks were decent too. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area again especially to sell my magic cards.

Mostly the food. That said, since this location has opened, it's been somewhat puzzling to observe and experience. This location is massive and a wonderful use of space and location, huge bonus. The food here is 9/10, easily. Some of the best burgers and pizza in town. I've also had their wings, RIP white sauce. I've had their beet salad, RIP beet salad. I've also had their Asian chicken sandwich, it's not RIP but it wasn't that great. Their menu changes pretty regularly, which is a blessing and a curse. You sometimes miss great dishes and other times, it's nice to have constant new favorites. The staff here is such an odd thing. Coming from almost two decades in Austin, we had a huge brewery scene and culture. That said, some of the folks working here seem either annoyed by their customers or that they're doing everyone a huge favor by being here. That's such weird thing. Even my partner, who doesn't get bothered much got annoyed by one of their more surly beertenders. Continuing the lamentation of days of yore, they just don't have much fresh turnover of beers here. I often see the same beers month after month, if anything that's a sad testament of the current state of the craft beer economy. Lastly, regarding service, it makes absolutely zero sense as a patron living in SEC country, that leadership of this wonderful space would CHOOSE not to put their TV's on a sporting event with ties to the region. I had an employee assist with a TV only for the manager to chastise him for doing it right in front of me. I can't for the life of me understand why someone would rather be that right about making customers happy, there with other patrons nearby thanking me, only to subject your paying customers to have to watch an infomercial on your ginormous TV's. Holy cow, read the room! Anyway, thanks for coming to my TEDTalk.
