My sister got the dark cholesterol cherry cold brew with a splash of cream and it was super good too! My fiancé got a watermelon beer and it even had a pink tinted foam on top! Service was bad and I get it, it's a holiday and you're by yourself. But management failed that bartender and set her up for failure. One bartender for a holiday around drinking. I was told there was some outside seating (all of the tables/chairs were taken inside) so since this was my first time visiting, I wish there were signs or maybe the hostess could have showed us specifically where to go because oops, I accidentally opened a door that appeared to be an office. Someone saw us and we probably looked lost to them and so they were nice enough to show us the outside area which had a singer who sung some Frank Sinatra songs. He was very talented and appealed to the audience. To our surprise, we saw behind us a table for the tastings. I asked the server for a champagne card so I could take notes and view the prices, but she said when we entered, we should have received one. So I went back to the front and asked the people at the door for the champagne card and they stated that they were printing them, and that they will hand them out a little later. Also I wondered about my brunch that was paid for separately and they said they will come and find me when it was ready. I am glad that we were able to find a table because now I am wondering if we couldn't, how would we have eaten our food. In my opinion, tables should have been reserved for customers who ordered food. Also I wasn't sure how they were keeping up with which customer showed up first because we weren't given a number or anything to show that we ordered food and what our number in line was. At first glance, they seemed unorganized. But as the time progressed they did eventually bring out the champagne cards and they apologized for the lateness of us receiving our food. As the event was coming to an end, one of the workers gave us info on future wine tastings and when they have a live band. All in all, we enjoyed the experience despite it seeming to be unorganized at times, but will definitely come back and visit soon. P.S. The champagne was great! Even bought a bottle. Slushy flavors this date were peach and piña colada -- sangria flavors were raspberry mint and one other I can't recall. The raspberry mint sangria was the best thing I had all day, refreshing on this super hot day with a strong mint flavor. All of the wines we sampled were really wonderful. We ordered a dry white wine flight and a sweet flight to split, our favorite dry was Villard Blanc, and sweet would have to be between the Fig Wine and the Piña Colada wine (most interesting wine I've ever had). Open 12-6 Saturday and Sundays they had a taco food truck this date for food option. You can sit inside or out, lots of open spaces to choose from. You can also take a seat in the vineyards!! The bathrooms are inside and super clean/nice always a plus. I just love this gem added to the HSV area.
