I went to Adib's class and the moment I walked in the door Adib welcomed me to the gym. He made me feel welcome and ready to work out. He remembered my name right away and he put us to work. The energy of the gym was so great and I like this location because they have bathrooms and changing rooms. I already lost 7 lbs in my first month and it is such a great place to start your fitness journey. After having a baby, it is hard to lose weight and feel like yourself again. I still remember something Coach Joey said early on.. that people often tell him they've lived nearby for years without realizing the gym existed, and he said that LS usually "shows up" in their lives at just the right moment, when they're ready for it. That idea has stuck with me ever since. Whether or not you take it literally, there's something fitting about how LS tends to meet people where they are in their fitness journey. Joey and Dave have built something really solid here. There is no pretense and no extra noise, just hard training, good coaching, and an environment that feels real. Got the president package - where I paid $600 up front and was told I will never be increased - that was not true I am increased every year and do not know where the $$ are going - I jointe as it was a gym that used to be 24/7 and now after covid they never went back to 24/7 - weekend need to open earlier than 6am - That is why many people joined . No excuses for not being 24/7 . Also the gym is filthy nothing is cleaned and when you go in the morning it is a total mess - Weights , plates , mats etc are all over the place. They redid the place within the past 2 years but you would never know it by the way it looks. Very sad I hope the new gym that is opening up where LA Fitness is decent as I need to try something else after all these years. The class was welcoming but also challenging and Michelle definitely knows her stuff. I also hadn't gotten a shoulder adjustment in years and loved getting one. I also enjoyed the wall work that I also hadn't done in years. It's a little far for me on weekdays but I definitely plan on coming again for a weekend class. Highly recommend!
