Dirty Laundry is one of my absolute favorite St Louis based craft beers. I've visited most Good News locations - always tempted to try one of their other beers - but I always return to Dirty Laundry. They make some tasty pizzas too. But did they change their crusts??? During a recent visit to the French town location, I thought I detected a difference in the pizza crust. First timer. Quick stop for 1 drink after a nearby bridal shower. I had the blue raspberry lemonade since I was driving, but I know it would be great as an adult beverage too. This is the second location we have visited and love it! The company history and story of how it got started is refreshing. This location has a great play area outside and lots of seating. Service is quick and friendly. Nice that they have the buzzers to tell you when the food is ready. Cool vibe with the music and simple decor. Wish we had one closer to us in Kirkwood! read more

We went on a Sunday around noon. It was a cloudy cool afternoon and not busy at all, which was nice. Food was delish and ready quickly. I lovedddd the outdoor seating and games, lots of things to do for children. I loved the sampling and all the beer options. Pizza did come out on a paper plate, the garlic bread was not cheesy enough, the wings are okay. Food didn't wow me, but the beer and the ambiance definitely did. The bathrooms were clean and had bible verses on the walls which I loved. Absolutely love the message and logo of the place, good news is awesome and Jesus is the best news! NEW (3mo.) GN brewery location - same great crafts and wood fired pizzas! Casual and family (and pet) friendly environment with both indoor or outdoor seating; location is set-up with small stage outdoors for additional entertainment, events and games. Overall, 4.5 experience for smiling staff service, good food and beer, new and clean location, relaxed place to visit, eat and drink. A few App offerings for under $9 and Pizzas $14-16 each. Locally brewed crafts $7/pint, or they have 4oz flight size tasters as well, plus few other adult and child beverages. Today we came at HH for a couple cold Local 636 Hazy IPA's and also tried the Perfect Storm Pale Ale. Both were excellent and easy to drink! The 636 is definitely one of my faves on the Hazy IPA's list around STL breweries! Additionally, we ordered a Vampire Deathwish Pizza with Garlic Sauce, Spinach, Feta and Mozzarella - YUM! Plenty of other specialty pizzas or build your own available. I'd say these are personal size (~6-7 slices) and great to share a couple different types - tasty and fresh! I'm not a beer drinker, but my husband is! I had seen things posted on Facebook about this place and thought we might enjoy checking it out. We had not been to any other locations. There is a lot of parking available. The outside area is fairly large and it's really pretty out there. Bocce and corn hole/bags are set up near the building. There are some picnic tables and faux Adirondack chairs scattered around. Beware - I saw some wasps going into holes in the chairs! There's a stage for live music, but there wasn't any when we were there. Drinks and food are ordered inside at a counter. In addition to beer, they have soft drinks and a few cocktails. We didn't think any of the staff members we interacted with were friendly at all. They weren't rude, but no smiles, no do you have any questions about the beers offered, etc. They were very matter of fact and just doing their jobs and nothing more. The cocktails weren't appealing to me so I just had a soft drink. My husband first tried the stout and said it wasn't very good. He then had the hazy IPA and said it was good and very refreshing. We decided to order a pizza. We chose the pineapple and jalapeño and added bacon. The pizza was $15 and literally fit on a paper plate. I know this because that's what it was served on. The $15 did not include bacon. I'm not sure what the up charge was for the bacon, but I'm guessing it was too much for what we got. There weren't pieces of bacon on it, but some bacon bits and not very many of them. A picture of the pizza is included, but we had a few pieces before I remembered to take it! Also, inside has picnic tables and high top tables for seating. The setting was the best thing about our visit! We won't be going back. read more

First thing first! Love the beer, food, atmosphere and location. This was my husband's and I first time enjoying the outside and it was awesome. My only criticism would be parents please be more observant of your children. Believe me, we have two of our own BUT when it comes to one of the employees having to come outside due to children banging no the shipping container and not being respectful of the property, I have to call BS. These were not small children, they were at least in middle school. I had my canines with us and they behaved much better. Please let everyone enjoy this establishment without the drama. I like everything about this place. Great for what it is...a brewpub with food and geared more toward families. The outdoor area was great for a nice day. I wouldn't say any one thing was amazing but everything was solid, especially when you consider the price. Stopped in here finally. Been waiting for this to materialize. Great to have a nice place to drink good craft beer. The sourdough wood fired pizza was tasty. Had a flight of 4 beers that were all pleasing. Need to go back for more. A lot of picnic type table seating inside. Outside there are several high top bench tables as well as a few traditional picnic tables. Fun area to toss bean bags, bochy ball or kick a soccer ball around. Also had 9 square so kid friendly. First time was Saturday night about 6pm. Place was busy but not packed (probably due to the Octoberfest the prior night). Lots of little kids running around outside and people playing corn hole. Good family atmosphere in other words. Ordered a beer (an IPA), salad, vampire deathwish pizza, and garlic cheese bread. Service was fast and the beer was great! No issues with the salad. On the negative front - buzzer went off and went to counter to get. Our ticket there but with two pizzas and a bread on top of it with paper plates. After discussing with the guy, took the pizza I thought was the right one and the bread with a precariously balanced little cup of sauce (no lid). Proceeded to drop said sauce because paper plates really aren't stable. Got to table and realized no way was that my pizza. Took back and got the correct one even though it wasn't one of the ones originally with my ticket. As to taste - 1) bread - not remarkable. Needed way more cheese and at least two sauces. Barely any garlic taste. 2) vampire pizza - same crust. Meh. And for something that supposed to be a vampire's garlic "deathwish" you should be hitting that flavor way harder. Especially when they advertise it as something to get. Fairly pricey as well for a small pizza. I do think we'll go back for the atmosphere and the drinks, but to eat a meal again?
