My wife and I stopped here for lunch. Upon entering the restaurant there were lots of precautions to make you feel safe regarding COVID, but that all stopped at the door. There were numerous patrons wearing masks while not at their table, however, none of the staff were wearing them. The food was mediocre, the booths were old, torn, and in serious disrepair, and the general restaurant appeared dirty and in need of deep cleaning. We had a nice experience here. The place was packed, but we were seated and served immediately. Food was not fancy, but very well prepared, and quite a bargain. Decent wine, and very nice salads. I came with a party of 13 and we got seated right away which was great. Got our food fairly quickly, no complaints on the service. However, I found a baby roach in my waffle and when I told the sever she took it to the cooks and another lady came out and tried to convince me it wasn't a roach and offered to make me a new one. Very friendly, would recommend. We ordered Grilled Chicken Salad and Grilled Ham & Cheese. Their homemade ranch dressing was very good, chicken a little dry. The waitress (Cassidy) was sweet and attentive. The restaurant needs a thorough cleaning, the bathrooms need to be completely restored. Tried Crossroads on two occasions, breakfast and lunch... Service was just okay, the staff seemed more into "covid" wiping tables than customers. The carpet and booths are dirty and ripped up. Anyhow, the hash browns and scrambled eggs were good, ham steak was inedible, the flavor of smoke or dirty grill taste was gross. Basic breakfast for 2 cost us almost 30 dollars. Lunch was turkey sandwiches for 2 with fries. Looked like a 5 year old made it...bland and plain. This meal cost us about $25 with two Cokes. If you're willing to spend your money on food that most of us could whip up better at home and for less money, it's your dime. McDonald's is your only other option in Parker for breakfast, so there's that. read more

However, if you just happen to visit and have absolutely the worst service with one of the waiters even arguing with you about what you really ordered, I'm thinking one star might be too many. A restaurant isn't all about the food. It's also all about the service. We visited for breakfast. We both ordered with my husband ordering strawberry pancakes. That just happens to be his favorite breakfast. My order was brought to our table along with an order of blueberry pancakes not strawberry. My husband has NEVER ordered blueberry pancakes. Waiter absolutely argued with him about what he had ordered. Then, he told us they didn't have strawberry pancakes at that restaurant. My husband told waiter to forget it as he didn't want anything then. We both finished my breakfast. About the time we were getting ready to leave waiter shows up with an order of strawberry pancakes. What's this? He told us they didn;t have strawberry pancakes. Well, then he tried to explain it was because they had to special make the strawberry topping. What a liar. Horrible, rude service. Went on a Sunday around 11. The place was busy but not overly crowded. We got seated pretty quickly but it was downhill from there. Took about 10 mins for someone to even acknowledge that we we're there and take our drink order. Finally get our drinks and it took another 15 mins to place our food order. Meanwhile one group that was seated at the same time had already gotten their food. Food was good but just based on the service I would never return. The hostess was by far the worst part of the day. Theres not too many choices to eat around this area, my girlfriend and I were checking out of our hotel looking for a spot to eat at before the drive back to LA, we were debating stop local or drive a little farther out but there doesnt really seem to be any other spot for at least 2 hours. Was in Parker for a few days, had dinner two nights at Crossroads, was pretty excited about the chicken fried steak, till I had to cut & try and eat it, lots of grizzle & tough, sent it back & got a hamburger steak, was excellent, had breakfast the next night, was very good ham & eggs, service is great, even when they are busy, which was both weekend nights I was there, Probably the only place in town I'd eat next time I'm in town. Our food last few visits was soggy and cold. Even the toast. Service is a toss of a coin. Can be friendly to indifferent and sour. Usually the cashier / host is a mustard seed. Messy, dirty shopworn dining room atmosphere and filthy restrooms. Has a counter and table seating for up to 50 customers. Very busy on weekends best to arrive around 6AM opening. Parking can get tight. Yelp Listed days show closed Tues and Wed but their sign says open 7 days. Maybe call first. read more
