Greated at the door, servers were on top of everything. Food was fantastic! Great first time experience for Easter Brunch.

Stopped by for drinks on Tuesday; noticed that the ambiance and vibe was very relaxed. So, decided to check it out for dinner last night. All we have to say is WOW!! The food was absolutely amazing. We ordered the mussels and bolognese. It was delicious. We also enjoyed the coconut tequila drink and the watermelon martini. Amazing to have the Chef, Ganesh, come out and check in on his guests. We were really excited to let him know how much we enjoyed the food. This place will definitely be on our top dinner spots for date nights! Highly recommend

    Calamari and grilled asparagus

From the moment I walked in this was an exceptional experience.Danny greeted & seated me. A very nice and happy waitress. I started with calamari and it was the best I have ever had!! I got a side of grilled asparagus that was cooked perfectly. I order a blue fin mai tai to wash it down and that was even delicious and present in a unique glass. Lastly I order a bowl of their seafood soup that was out of this world. Everything is priced perfectly for such a high quality and quantity. This was all ordered as a side, appetizer and soup. I can't imagine how good a main menu item would be.. I give this 10 stars out of a possible five!!

Took dad to Crossroads today for brunch. As always service was impeccable and everyone so friendly. I had the corned beef hash Benedict and it was fantastic. The home fries were slightly oily but very tasty. The Bloody Mary was spicy even tho I ordered the non spicy version. If I actually got the non spicy version then know that the spicy will melt steel. Overall, another excellent meal at Crossroads.

My wife ordered the Chicken and Waffles and I got the Western. We lived in the South for 12 years and she said this is the best y'all will get in the North East. Meaning it is very good. The omelette was nothing fancy but very hearty and cooked perfectly. The potatoes were also great. The service was very friendly with a welcoming vibe. I highly recommend this place. The only ding is they use instant Ice Tea.

I was at a conference in Danvers and looking for a restaurant that was better than our hotel restaurant, as it was horrible. This restaurant was suggested to me by my son as he moved up this way and we were having brunch there on Sunday. We made reservations and were seated pretty quick when we got there. The ambience of the place is pretty cool, they have green velvet booths, lots of plants and really nice lighting. I think they were shorthanded because it took a very long time to get waited on. However, when we did get waited on our waitress is very nice and we ordered our drinks. Martini was very good but very tiny. The wine pours were also pretty small. The food that we had was phenomenal. The bowl I had with falafel was absolutely delicious. The pumpkin hummus was such a nice touch that I had never had before. The steak tips that they serve are grilled, which isn't common. My friend that had those said they were very good and perfectly cooked. My friend who had the Cubano said it was delicious and my other friend who had the steak and cheese it was really good. The steak and cheese sandwich actually had the steak tips in it. Took a while to get our bill and one of us had to actually get up and get the waitress who was behind the bar doing dishes. So they were definitely shorthanded. I just wanna point this out to everyone so they understand that they're shorthanded and service may be slow, but it's definitely worth the wait. I return for brunch on Sunday with my son and had a very good oat milk cappuccino. It did take a while for the waitress to wait on us, but the food was fantastic. I'm still dreaming of the avocado toast with the pumpkin hummus. My son had a western omelette that he said was very good also. I'm back in this area. I'll definitely go here.

Just went in for a beer and ended up having something to snack on but the place is a quiet romantic restaurant to bring your other half for a nice dinner the bar is fully stocked and they have a nice wine and beer menu. The bartender was very nice on top of things I got some nachos with grilled chicken which was very good so I would recommend that you go there on a date

We got potstickers and the corn dip for appetizers. The potstickers were average at best, but the dipping sauce...it was like dipping them in a bowl of saltwater (I get that it's supposed to be salty, but this was BEYOND what I expected). The corn dip was underwhelming...it was ice cold corn mixed with some seasoning and cheese. The chips were stale. For my main meal I got the Mac and Cheese with steak tips...both items came out cold. Mac and cheese was BLAND. I don't like my food piping hot, but this wasn't even lukewarm. Got a side of bland eggplant fries that seemed undercooked and lacked any kind of sauce for dipping. Had some of my wife's French fries and they seemed skimpy and not cooked enough. Dessert...I got the bread pudding...edges were BURNED and the rest was MUSH!!! My daughter enjoyed the ice cream and whipped cream that came with it. Service was fine and they did check thoroughly about some possible food allergens for my wife. We took most of our food home, but I have a feeling it won't get eaten.

It's a totally fine interior, dont be afraid to bring the kids. We went based on the pictures of the outdoor space and steak tips. Both of those were great. My wife got a burger with no bun and they provided lettuce big enough for her to do a wrap. She loved that and the sweet potato fries. Service was also perfect. It was super slow, so maybe like all places things suffer when busy, but we will be back next time we see a movie at Jordans.

I found myself in familiar territory and surroundings when I returned stay the Lakeview Inn hotel…read morefor a night, away from metro Boston in early May 2025. I arrived here via uber and decided to have dinner at the hotel's main restaurant, the Lakeside Tavern. This Yelp review is for the restaurant only and not the hotel. I arrived here around 9:30pm. I opted to get dinner here first before checking into the hotel for the night. The service that night I was here was crazy slow. They had loud live band music and the vibe here was generally an older crowd on a Thursday evening in May 2025. I found a seat next to the bar near the kitchen and after 15 minutes of waiting for someone to take my order, I walked to the cash register and waited for someone to arrive. I ended up getting one of their signature meals for the evening and that was that. Since it was close to 10pm that evening, the music was winding down. I ended up waiting about 20 minutes for my food to arrive. It came in a takeout container with a plastic bag. I would have gotten something at Boston, Logan International Airport, but it was after 8 PM when I arrived and nothing in the terminal was open for me. With that said, I was happy that the Lakeside Tavern was open for anybody and everybody who was wanting to be there. For lunch, dinner, or just hang out and listen to live music with adult beverages. For me, though, I just need dinner after a long day of travel to Boston from Honolulu. I was glad that they were until 10 PM, otherwise I would have took an Uber to see what was around at the time near the hotel that serve food. The overall experience at the lakeside Tavern here in Wakefield, Massachusetts was typically OK, although I was starving and wanted quicker service that night. While the service was very slow, it was nice to partake in the live music that night. The ambiance was chill and friendly. The service was friendly and welcoming too. For the most part though, the experience here was pretty good and most likely will come back again get my troubles permit me to do so. I'll try to get here as quick as I can, but then again their travel is normally the same as it was 10 years ago. The restaurant itself was very clean, although it was dark enough to wear I can't see much. I just was glad that this restaurant at the hotel I was staying at for the night was open and grateful that they were still serving food while I was there. If you decide to stay at this hotel, consider dining in the Lakeside tavern because it is basically on property. You don't need to go elsewhere for your meals if you don't need to. If you're lazy like me, this restaurant is your best bet if you're staying at the hotel. Definitely recommended if you are one of those people who just don't wanna leave the hotel for some reason if you're staying here at the Lakeside inn in Wakefield Massachusetts. The Lakeside Tavern is located inside the Lakeside Inn in Wakefield, Massachusetts. As soon as you enter the lobby, the entrance to the restaurant is on your left. Can't miss it. It is physically located at 595 North Avenue in Wakefield. They accept major credit cards as well as cash. As far as parking goes, they have a generous and huge parking lot for anybody and everybody who wishes to come here to stay or dine. Or both. Please share the parking spaces with a few other commercial retailers in the vicinity. There is a bank nearby, if you need cash. There is actually public transportation service to and from the hotel into Boston. I did not know this until my most recent trip here and decided to save a little bit of money and ride the local bus service into downtown Boston from Wakefield. It was pretty cool. Don't recommend it if you are traveling in the evening and don't know where you are if you are a tourist. So yes, there is public transportation options to and from the hotel, and they will depend on your original destination, whether it is the Amtrak station or Boston Logan international airport in Boston. And with that said, they have a limited menu, so be prepared for anything they have. The prices here were decent for any restaurant in the area. But if you're desperate and hungry, it's kind of worth it, especially when you're staying at the hotel for the night and you're starving. Which is what my situation was at the time. It was a quick stop for dinner that ended up being something other than quick. But if you like the loud live music to decompress after a nice day of traveling or a hard day at the office, consider coming to the lakeside Tavern for a good meal and to decompress. I'm sure they have alcohol service here, but I did not want to drink so late at night. 3.5 stars for the overall experience, mostly for the slower than normal service. But it is pretty good 5.0 stars for the location, because I was staying here. Support local! C+

My family and I have dined at Teresa's Italian Eatery in Middleton several times over the years,…read moreand we've always had very enjoyable experiences. That's why we were really looking forward to returning for our Easter Sunday meal. To start on a positive note, the service was excellent as always, and we were seated at a lovely table by the window. The appetizers were also very good and set the expectation for another great meal. Unfortunately, things changed when the bread arrived--it was extremely hard and dry, to the point where it was difficult to eat. While that was disappointing, we moved on, hoping it was just a minor issue. When the entrées came out, some dishes--particularly the pasta, fish, and chicken--were good. However, the two meat dishes at our table were a real letdown. The veal Parmesan chop was unusually tough, which is surprising for veal, as it's typically very tender. My prime rib had the same issue--also tough and not what you would expect from that cut of meat. When the owner or manager checked in, I chose not to raise these concerns at the table in front of my guests. But in hindsight, I feel it's important to share this feedback. The quality of the meat, especially for dishes like veal chop and prime rib, should be consistently tender and carefully sourced. We've had some excellent meals here in the past, and we truly enjoy the location, ambiance, and consistently strong service. Because of those positive experiences, we're willing to give it another try. However, we do hope this was just an off meal, as consistency--especially with key ingredients like meat--is important. We'll be back once more, and hopefully, it will reflect the high standards we've come to expect.
