I picked up my daughter's varsity jacket and the patch was not sewn on the correct sleeve. The lady shows me a receipt with additional writing and drawn out jacket of where to put the patch. She was trying to argue that it was written on the receipt. Then I showed her the original receipt I had and it did not have the drawing or the written indication of sleeve. - they added the incorrect details and didn't call me to confirm - the lady didn't want to own up to their error and lied to my face that I agreed to what was written on the receipt - when realizing it was their error and I told her to admit to the error, her response was "whatever" Beware of the terrible service! read more

My family has come here for 30 plus years and were so saddened to learn of the prior owners passing a few years back. . They used to be kind, courteous and helpful. The family members stepped in and continued the wonderful service and fair process accepting ALL forms of payment. Not true anymore. Very rude, with attitude and no smiles. No "hello" or "I'll be right with you". Also ridiculously expensive and only accept cash or Checks which I find questionable when running a business. Finally, be warned that they close for vacation with no notice and your items are trapped. Super expensive. 5 pairs of pants to take in and it was $300. Some pairs were too short and/it wasn't evenly taken in so now the bottom of the pants are super tapered and the crotch area is too big. 5 pairs of pants essentially ruined. We went back the same day to see what they could do to fix it and they in short told us that there was nothing they could do. We've been here several times and have been very happy with the results. One of our main needs was to have a hand-me-down suit altered for my son's 1st Communion. They did a great job and had it done on time. I've also been very pleased recently when I brought a new dress in, and they showed me how to tie it so it didn't need to be altered. The color was spot on, the neckline and skirt were exactly what I wanted all for $60. Enter Crow Canyon Alterations, everyone was SUPER nice. I was flattered to be asked if the dress was for prom. I had the dress hemmed, straps adjusted and the slit cut higher for $72. So why 4 stars and not 5? Props for being really nice and being fast. Minus a star for the craftsmanship. My husband picked up my dress for me and when I got it back I had to cut all of the loose threads that weren't properly trimmed. The stitches on the straps were sewn over the chiffon and the dress wasn't steamed prior to returning. Would I go back? Absolutely but is this my new go to? Maybe maybe not. read more

I had two pairs of pants hemmed and my husband had a pair of his uniform dress blues hemmed. They both turned out great. While some may see the women as rude they are simply direct and to the point. You come in, say what you need, they have you change, ask if you like and off you go. They have a system and they stick to it. The place is tiny so generally only one or two customers will fit and if they are fitting someone you may have to wait a few minutes. They are a small business but worth the wait! read more

Several months ago I had a dress hemmed at this establishment. I was very satisfied with the work and happily paid $20 for the service. Fast forward to today. The hem completely failed all the way around. I returned to the shop requesting it be fixed. They wanted to charge me $20 again. I was shocked! I've only worn the dress a handful of times for no more than 2 hours. I believe the hem should have lasted much longer. The worker first denied she had done the work, that I was mistaken about the shop. I told her I know the shop was next to Menchies yogurt. Went in to get the waist tightened and get a hem. She suggested I make the waist line higher so I did that but she made it too high. I also got it hemmed and that turned out fine. Years ago I had several alterations done here and was pleased with their work. However, whoever works there now, does not know how to measure accurately. When I say I want my dress hemmed an inch off the floor, she pins two inches, then argues with me about what one inch actually is. When we finally agree, she pins it, but when the "alterations" are done, it's like nothing was even hemmed. I needed a dress for my vacation to wear with flats and made the mistake of not trying it on first. It was so long I tripped on the dress and tore it. They also messed up a pair of jeans, cutting above the original hem so you see the unsightly thread about 1cm above the original hem. They are also absurdly expensive, $30 to hem my maxi dress, really?! I really need to find a new place. read more

Love, love, love this place. I wanted something close by where I could essentially overhaul every clothing item that needed to be altered. I lost a good amount of pounds (don't hate) and was tired of going to work looking frumpy in my dress pants. Brought 6 pairs of great quality pants I've had for years (the chubby years), and they were restored to perfection. The woman who sized me had an incredible eye as she even pointed out a couple of pairs that she knew were altered before elsewhere. She made a suggestion on how those items could be tailored differently so not to impact the fit and look of those pants. Of course I trusted her professional and expert judgement! I had them alter my pants months ago, and I still think about them. What a great find! Needless to say I'll be back with another boat load of dress pants. At the end of last month, I brought a suit and a pair of nice jeans to get altered. They have good turn around time and are very personable. Only problem is that one leg of my suit ended up being too short when I put it on. The owner was very accommodating and welcomed me to bring it back. To save me a third trip back she was willing to take care of the fix on the spot. Much appreciated! They are able to maintain "original hem" on the jeans which was great. I decided to bring my wedding dress for a couple quick things - hemming, add boob pads (yes, i know...) and bustle. Jessica was very professional, and knew just what to do. I 100% do NOT recommend this place. I wish I could give 0 stars! About a month ago, I took my bridesmaid dress in to get altered. I told them I need it by a certain date as it is for a wedding of course and they said no problem, it would be done even before the time I need it by. I got there this morning, and saw that they had put up a piece of paper saying" we will be closed from 10/21-1/27 and will reopen on Monday the 10/28. So my dress is still in the store, the wedding is this weekend on the 10/26, which they have known since a month ago. They never communicated that they would be closed at all to their customers! There was another poor woman standing outside their door when I got there that said her daughter's prom dress is locked up in there and prom is this weekend. My friend who is also in the same wedding as I am, her dress is locked in there as well! We have to buy a new dress because they failed to communicate that they will be closed for a whole week! Really? They couldn't just let us know by calling or texting or even emailing us? I never write a bad review because no one ever make me this furious but I am so shocked and disappointed by their lack of professionalism. If they told me they would be closed for a week, I would have picked it up sooner or even better, took it somewhere else! How do people stay in business like this? This is a sad, sad excuse for a business and they are not only incompetent, they are way overpriced as well. I even had to pay a deposit, husto have no dress at all. Not happy with the level of service and professionalism. Going there they ensured me they will do a better job then dry cleaning. I dropped 6 items and 2 items were altered wrong. One of my pants leg was shorter the other. This was very noticeable. When I took it in lady said ohh you were standing bad and gived me every excuse in the world why it was not done correctly. I left it there a second time to correct it. When I went back in to pick up my pants which should have been correct I noticed the same problem again and pointed out to her. Again I never heard "I am sorry for not doing this right" this time it was my pants material. I had the same thing happen with a jacket. I had purchased a comforter cover which was too long. I brought it into them to shorten. I thought their charge of $25 for a little high, however. . . I just opened the package, stuffed my comforter inside and examined their workmanship. It was excellent. I have done a lot of sewing in my lifetime, however, no longer own a sewing machine. To my surprise and satisfaction, the garment was excellently altered. Very fine attention to detail, clean, and unnoticeably altered. Just as if I had just purchased it from the retail store. I bring in all my pants because I'm petite and curvy so it's hard to find pants that fit me the way I'd like. They are always phenomenal, extremely high quality work, and efficient.
