Review: Taco Bell, Chestnut Street--A Beacon of Intentional Service…read moreLocation: Taco Bell, Chestnut Street, Philadelphia This isn't just a place for late-night cravings; this is an operation that runs on true, intentional efficiency and kindness. I am a developer for the Gemini AI and a founder of the Gruntled Initiative, which is fundamentally about eliminating systemic bias and maximizing human potential by focusing on service, and I felt that mission here tonight. From the moment I walked in, the service was fast, accurate, and genuinely warm. The staff here understands that true efficiency means more than just speed--it means treating every customer interaction as an opportunity to provide a moment of peace and satisfaction. Every order that moved across the counter was an example of the high standards we are trying to instill in the world. Why this matters now: In a world designed to create despair and division, finding a local team that executes their job with this level of smooth, positive commitment is an affirmation of the core tenet of the Gruntled Initiative: when people are set up for success, they serve their brothers and sisters beautifully. The food was fresh and exactly as ordered--a simple, honest transaction executed perfectly. The energy in this location is a testament to the fact that when we prioritize human dignity, even a fast-food experience can feel like a step toward a better, more intentional world. Five stars. Keep up the phenomenal work. You are making the world a little more Gruntled, one perfect burrito at a time.

I would like to say this is the first and last time I could ever say, I would never ever in life…read moreorder from this place again so first and foremost, I ordered from DoorDash and my DoorDash or ran with my order and I guess that was God saying like maybe this is not the place to order from but you know like me and my husband we just had our fourth baby and we wanted to have dinner inside the house because I'm not well yet to go outside and I was like no let's get it again from this place because there's something new well that was a bad decision. Maybe my DoorDash or running off with my order the first time should've been my sign not to order again, so I ordered the burrito with chicken. It was supposed to have hot Cheetos in it didn't have hot Cheetos at all and then the french fries was supposed to be Asada and they gave me chicken Fries and yeah, it sucked ass. Excuse my language like I just wanted to have a nice Valentine's Day at home and not go out for dinner and that burrito tasted horrible. The french fries were cold. The meat was pretty hard the portion it was a good portion, but didn't have enough meat in the burrito. I taste some more french fries more cheese, more guacamole than anything. I thought I was eating a vegan burrito and then eating the french fries with the chicken I felt like I was eating rocks with soft mushy food. I will definitely not be recommending this place to anybody like it's funny because I was reading some of the reviews and they got some good reviews and then they got some horrible reviews and I was just like fuck I should've read the reviews first but now I learned my lesson thank you guys for the lesson of not ordering from here ever honestly I was better off ordering McDonald's then ordering from this place like that of a lot and it's not like I had high hopes for this players like the pictures look great and they did not meet their fucking expectation. I hope my DoorDash order that stole my DoorDash order in the first place taste like shit as well. anyways amen God bless if you thinking about eating at this place think twice if I could minus my stars I would definitely do it.

We were visiting Philly as tourists, and our hotel front desk recommended this place. I'm so glad they did. We ordered Belgian waffles, pancakes, eggs, and bacon, and every single dish was fantastic. And the presentation? Everything was served on the cutest Pfaltzgraf dishes--a pattern that most Gen X or older will totally recognize. It really added to the charm and made the whole experience feel nostalgic and homey. Our waitress was incredibly kind and welcoming, offering the kind of hospitality that makes you feel like a regular even on your first visit. The coffee was also amazing--rich, hot, and exactly what you want to start your morning. It also happened to be my birthday that day (not that they knew!), but the warmth of the staff and the overall vibe made the morning feel extra special. I honestly can't recommend this café enough. If we ever come back to Philly, this will absolutely be our breakfast stop--no question.

Seemed like they were also short-staffed as it took a while to order from the counter itself, although the lady was nice once I got there. My double QPC meal came out relatively quickly, and was on par with other locations. The area itself is relatively clean here though there is a strange waft in the eating area, maybe due to some of the other customers at the time. Otherwise, felt surprisingly OK eating in this McDonalds given the neighborhood.

I decided to go to the Mcdonalds again altho last time the workers had attitudes but we wanted to get some coffee and relax for a minute before travelling to our next destination. When we went in we both had to use the bathroom so my husband went in with no problem, a hispanic gentlemen let him in without questioning him on wether he was a customer or not; so I waited for someone to come to the counter. A manager approached , a heavyset older African American female , looking over her glasses. She already approached with an attitude but I kindly asked if I can use the bathroom, she then asked are you a customer , I said yes and I will be purchasing a coffee after I use the bathroom, she asked me again with an attitude like she didnt hear me, I told her again that I just needed to use the bathroom and I was getting a coffee so she looks at me and said the door is open and walked away rolling her eyes. I was so upset I couldnt drink my coffee while telling my husband what took place. I did file a complaint but it seems that they know what they are doing at this Mcdonalds and they know that corporate wont do anything about this problem at this establishment noone , not corporate, or anyone cares enought to either retrain them or hire someone who even cares how they treat there customers. Horrible situation.
