    Cheese fries

Huge menu here with lots of great options - and really good prices as well. I ended up getting a double cheeseburger and an order of cheese fries. The cheese fries were great - a huge order of fries smothered in cheese sauce. The burger was pretty good - double beef, double cheese, with lettuce, tomato, mayo, ketchup, mustard, and pretty cheap. I wouldn't hesitate to come back if I'm in the area.

I love the consistent hot fried chicken. The prices are cheap and the staff are real cool.

Usually I stick to New…read moreHampshire but I had family in town and of course they all wanna see Boston so I looked up a spot around the area we were in and The Blue Ox should up. Once inside we were seated very quickly... We started with some Crispy Calamari that had peppers and a nice chipotle aioli sauce that went well together. Then we had the Mussels which were very good, it had lots of garlic which we love and it has white wine with heirloom tomatoes. Both appetizers were amazing. Now for my dish I went with the Sin Burger due to seeing a bunch awards for this burger so I had to try. So the burger I ordered was made medium with bacon, truffle aioli and Swiss cheese. It was so good and this dish was the highlight of my night. It was made to perfection and everything went well together in the burger. I'll definitely be back just to eat the burger again. So if you're around Lynn then be sure to give this spot a try. You won't be disappointed!

My buddies and I normally meet up for wings after work on Tuesdays. Since it's been a few months…read moresince we've been allowed to see each other in person, and since it's looking like it'll still be some time until we can meet up again safely - we decided to do wing-night remotely. I could have ordered from another more established wing place, but I decided that for the price, maybe I'd risk getting wings from a smaller joint - support a local business and all that right? The wings were delivered in an inedible state. They had been previously fried and were clearly reheated in an oven...or perhaps the surface of the sun. There's really no way to tell since beneath the buffalo sauce, the wings were burnt to literal ash (picture attached). Of the 18 wings that I ordered, I found maybe 2 or 3 that were actually fit for human consumption. If you're looking for comfort food during this trying time, look elsewhere.

If your time is brief, bottom line up front DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE…read more The concept behind this restaurant is virtual dining, which really means that one kitchen fills the order for multiple restaurants (and there's no real way to resolve issues except through your delivery service). Sounds good, but the execution is lacking. We were given an incorrect order (ordered from Wing Squad and got an order from Flavortown Kitchen, another restaurant that shares this kitchen), but decided to give the food a shot. It was still chicken, after all. The chicken sandwich was awful and overdone, the fries seemed like they'd been sitting under a heat lamp for ages, and the jalapeno poppers were covered in some sort of mysterious sauce we were unwilling to even taste. I ended up dropping the whole bag in the trash unceremoniously. If that's indicative of the food quality of that kitchen, I think it's safe to say you're best to steer clear. Note to business owner or manager: going delivery-only doesn't relieve your team of the responsibility to make sure the right stuff is getting picked up. Also, please start cooking edible food.

I ordered at the counter and took the 2 top high table right by the window. I ordered the House Dog and a side of waffle fries that came with their house made honey ketchup. The food was ready pretty quickly and it looked really good as I brought it back to my table. The House dog is listed as being topped with chopped bacon, grilled onions and their spicy pub style mustard. Overall it was really good. The onions weren't as cooked as much as I would have liked them to be and some of the onion pieces were pretty big. I thought the mustard was great and really wanted more of that on the dog. I know it looks like plenty in the picture but I still wanted more. The bun was that perfect split top New England bun that was perfectly toasted on both sides. The fries were good. Well-seasoned. I couldn't tell that anything was different about the ketchup. I did want more than what was given in the little portioned cup that they provided. I'd return to Chicken & The Pig and I'd definitely try other hot dog variations and definitely get one of the chicken sandwiches.

As I walked in, for a newer place it wasn't too appealing. The tables were mismatched and didn't look very clean. All the signage made the food look nice. There were many many choices, very large menu. With that said I should've been aware that pretty much everything would've been frozen item at least that's my assumption? Against my better judgment I want to head and ordered the barbecue wings and a side of fries to go. The girl behind The counter took my order promptly and I paid quickly and easily. This is where everything took a turn for the worse. My order actually came out pretty quickly less than five minutes but should be a good thing but in those five minutes that I was waiting around I saw major disruption amongst the staff. They were going back-and-forth about scheduling and disrupting the waiting area and table with a few people were eating. I was extremely surprised as were the people eating we looked at each other like what going on here?? Every few words out of all the employees mouths were swears and pretty loud too I mean I went in just to get a quick lunch I was there only the five minutes not really enough time to judge a restaurant. This is not a place where I would want to purchase my lunch as it is very disruptive to a food purchase I actually thought I was on the street corner in the low-end district. Putting all this aside when I got back to work I opened up my bag I had no silverware, no salt, no pepper, no ketchup for my fries not even a napkin ??? How do you pack a to go bag like that? My fries were the small shoe string french fries definitely frozen. The barbecue wings it looks as if they cook them and then just squirted sauce on top of them they were so drenched in barbecue sauce that I couldn't even eat them. I did post a photo. I was really hoping that this would be a nice lunch spot for the guys and I as the menu had a lot of nice choices on it unfortunately I don't think I'll go back and try anything else :(
