I've hesitated to post this because I love supporting black-owned businesses, but I want to share my story to prevent it from happening to another. On Jan 22, I booked a consultation for loc extensions with Bethany and Ashely. They were installed on Jan 18, and this process took way longer than it should have, with me coming into the shop at 9 am and not leaving until almost 10 pm that night due to Ashely not knowing how to install the locs and Bethany having to assist her. I had NO issue with this, as I love that they help up-and-coming hairstylists with a chance to work within a shop and build up their clientele. Within a week of having the loc extensions, I noticed that some were constantly falling out, and I informed the salon of this issue. They responded that this was normal and could take some time for my hair to look up. COOOOOOL. Some months go by, and I notice that each time I am due for a retwist, I have to spend an additional 50+ dollars to get locs reattached due to them not combining with my hair. I once again informed Bethany of my frustrations, and she assured me it was my hair's fault for not locking with the loc extensions. Per, she stated that it could take upwards of a year for loc extensions to attach to my natural hair. For six months, I paid OVER 300 dollars to get my extensions reattached to my locs when they weren't installed correctly the first time. Still, I wanted to work things out with the salon and stay with them since they are the ones who started me on the process of my loc journey. In Sept, I had another consultation for coloring services. I spoke with Bethany TWICE to confirm whether or not I should start the process to color my locs, and both times she stated that I could, and this would help the loc extensions attach since the bleach would "mat" the hair up. In Sept, I booked a color processing for locs, and this is where things messed up. I followed the rules to having loc extensions to the T. I went in every month or 4-6 weeks for a retwist; I didn't wash my hair and waited the seven months Bethany suggested before I wanted to add color to the locs. Most, if not all, my locs came out this day. I was aware of this happening when I got my wash done. The color was two-toned and different from what I had asked for. I had patches of bleach and color throughout my whole head; not one loc that I came into the salon with did I leave with attached to my head. This was an additional 400+ dollars because they charged me to have the locs that they messed up to get reattached again! Still, I wanted to give them another dang ole chance. I called them crying one morning because, once again, the locs were falling out, and the color wasn't what I had asked for. The owner, unsure of her name, answered the phone and didn't understand my situation. You would think that a black woman-owned business would understand the seriousness and empathize with another black woman calling and having issues with their hair. I could not go to work looking like a cabbage patch with one loc and a messed up color. The solution to fixing this issue was for me to come back into the shop and pay an additional fee to get them reattached ( she said she'd lower the price to $5 for the attachments) and that they were sorry. I spent well over $3000 for locs I don't have anymore. My money and time were wasted, and I hate that this happened with people I grew to like. Other hair services are nice within the salon, but if you want loc extensions or services of color, PLEASE avoid them at all costs.

Best loc salon I have found in the valley yet! I love this place, the stylists, the atmosphere, the location are all on point. The staff are friendly to everyone who walks in. The atmosphere in the salon is always positive. From the music to the conversations and interactions, this is a good place to be. The salon is bright, spacious and clean. with a number of stylists, chairs, dryers and plenty of services. They are certainly making their way towards being a full service one stop salon offering not only hair care but waxing, lashes, facials and more. I love Bethany, the owner of the salon. Young gifted and black, she maintains a professional business with appointments that run on time. ... oh, and my hair looks great when I leave too!

I love the atmosphere of this place. It is really an uplifting and positive hair salon. Grace did an amazing job with my hair cut. Unfortunately, my pictures do not reflect the two hearts she cut into hair because I waited a week to take the photo.‍‍. However, I know it was great. I also got my hair braided. It was my first time getting knottless braids. I was concerned that they wouldn't last; because growing all I knew was knotted. I love how they feel light. Although, I feel they are not as tight at the root like I'm use to. Moreover, I'm afraid to get in the pool. I feel like if I get them wet my hair will curl out of the braid. That in no way refelects on the braider. I love that every hair styling comes with a wash prior. Thus good on days you don't have time or do not want to walk around looking crazy waiting on a hair appointment. The haircuts don't seem like a bad price; considering you get a hair wash with the service. The braids on the other hand, I feel $170 for 25 braids is a little ghastly.
