Pro Tip: park in the building (on level 2 I believe but check when you make an appointment) and they can validate your parking. Wish I would've known that one, haha! Pro Tip 2: do not expect to get comfortable and relax because it's a small space with a lot going on so you're going to be asked to move-possibly a few times. So, I didn't have an appointment and I just called out of the blue as a new customer. I was lucky to get an appointment tonight and I was excited! When I arrived, the small space, with three chairs, were jammed packed. There was a woman sitting on the bench the entire time, a bench that could fit two people, but sat right in the middle. This person turned out to not even be a client but a friend. Like a roadie for a hairdresser? Kinda wacky given the lack of space, IMO. Meanwhile, clients had to sit in the hallway and the lobby while bleach and color sat on their heads. I too spent some time in the lobby. The place was REALLY busy, which could explain why there was hair all over the place. I hesitated to put my bag down because it was just kinda hairy everywhere and my bag picks up hair like a Roomba. I did find a spot but had to bring it with as I moved around so it didn't really matter that I had found it. The service was rushed but I don't mind moving around creation if it'll save me a hour or two in the chair. Most of the work was done by an awesome new assistant in the beginning. Jessica was very much involved though throughout the process. When Jessica brought me to the bowl to rinse, she sounded excited that the color looked better than when I walked in. And yes, it is better, but the root lines are still super visible given the really sharp starting point of the previously bleached strands. I paid her and tipped her but I'm slightly underwhelmed now that I'm in natural light. (The lighting in there is wayyyyyyyyyy different I think.) Unfortunately, I fly out of here tomorrow and won't have time to give her the opportunity to make it better for me. Then again, it isn't awful just kinda meh right now for a $70 (w/$10 Yelp coupon) treatment. Anyhoo, that's my piece and Jessica was really kind so and fast so I'd recommend her if you're looking for someone in the area! read more

So I went to Jessica last night hoping she can fix what another salon messed up. I wanted dark roots with an ashy blonde to flow with it and this other lady completely bleached my hair and turned it orange all over my head. So in summary, no dark roots at all and waaay lighter than I had asked, I even showed her a picture to reference to. Can I leave 6 stars? How about 10? Seriously cannot express how great Jessica did. Both the cut and color are fantastic! I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she nailed it! The biggest compliment I can pay her is that she has very confident hands. Sometimes I go to hair dressers and they just seem nervous.. Especially if I come in with a picture of something that isn't super straight forward. I left a couple decisions is to her and her artistic eye and she knew just what to do! My hair looks great (and colorful!) and I love it! I'll be back when my color fades to support her awesome talent. She's currently working out of another salon, so go find her there until this location is back up and running. I went here twice and the first time I waited 2 hours passed my appointment time. She made it up to me by giving me a free $5 oil spray at the end of the night. No discount, nothing else comp-ed. Although, I had an extremely frustrating time, I really liked the color she had done so I decided to go back. Similar situation the second time. I was giving her one more chance, making a third appointment (plus it sucks going back and forth between hairdressers). The third time, I waited pass 30 minutes and texted her. I went to Jessica once. She did a very nice job with my color (I was trying to dye my hair back to its natural color so I could let it grow out). And, I have to give this to her: she is the ONLY hairdresser I've EVER been to that knows that "trim" does not equal "cut." I actually got a true *trim* for the first time in my life. I was happy with my hair when I left the salon. My low rating is because of a lack of professionalism. She was late for my first appointment, which I had scheduled about a month prior. I scheduled a second appointment, showed up for it, and she wasn't there. I waited 15 minutes before sending her a text letting her know that I was waiting. She said that she was sick and had text me earlier in the day (she hadn't). She claimed that she got my phone number wrong, but she had text me in the past and I had received her messages, so I'm not sure how that's possible. I was super bummed because I had purposely scheduled my next cut for the week before my sister's bachelorette party and I wanted my hair to look nice for our weekend out on the town. But, ok, fine. She was sick - not her fault. So I rescheduled for the end of the following week, aaaaand... she text me 4 days ahead of time to let me know that sorry, she was out of town and wouldn't have any availability until 5 days after my already-rescheduled appointment. For me, that was it. I'm very consistent about my haircuts (I go every 6-8 weeks whether I need it or not) and I have a busy schedule, so I'm not trying to be constantly rescheduled. She does a nice job, but she needs to get her s**t together or hire an assistant. read more

So how much can I say I love the way Jessica cuts hair? I moved here from Atlanta at the end of 2012. I have been through at least 5 stylists who neither understood what I wanted or interpreted what I wanted incorrectly. I really haven't been satisfied with my hair since I moved here. My friend recommended Jessica at Hair2O. I was skeptical since I have tried supposedly great stylists before with no luck, but I was willing to give it another try. Boy, I am glad I did. I brought Jessica a picture and explained that I needed a lot of texturizing to get my flat hair to have volume. Jessica not only matched the picture, but gave me the volume I was looking for in exactly the style I wanted! The price was right on as well. She is located in the new towers at ASU so you have to pay for parking which is the only downside. She has flexible hours and told me she has done hair all the way up to midnight which is great for someone with a busy schedule! I highly recommend Jessica if you want a talented stylist who listens to what you say. I finally have found my new stylist in Phoenix - yay!!! read more

After a horrible experiences at an Aveda Salon, where the owner messed up my color and damaged my hair to the point where I now have bangs! I booked with Jessica, and was so nervous that it would to be another fail - NOT! She is so confident and put up with me questioning her capabilities, she ROCKED IT! My hair pulls extremely warm, I have gray hair coming in and it is fine and damaged now thanks to Aveda. I went to Jessica last month and not only was she accommodating in getting me in quickly, despite being short handed, she did all she could to ensure I was happy with my result. I left a snooty, more expensive salon that was failing to provide results that justifies their pricing, and this salon provides a more intimate, customer friendly environment. I came in for a root touch with a lot of color correction from others errors. Jessica was amazing ! I am solid platinum blonde with dark brown roots growing in. I had spots of orange in threw my head underneath that others never took the time to fix from a bad color job back in June. Jessica got my dark roots platinum blonde in one process, others have never achieved that. She then also took the time to go thru my head and fix all the orange blotches in my head. She listened to me about toner nightmares and she used NO toner for her results. My hair feels great and is not dry and it's all platinum blonde.
