Working with Maple Leaf has been a pleasure, particularly thanks to our property manager Katie!…read more From the start, Katie's eye for quality and completeness was very helpful in getting the home in great shape. She unfailingly followed up and kept track of every detail and project, coordinating across multiple contractors and the wrap-up and move out we were doing. Her communicativeness and responsiveness has been enormously helpful, including when it came time for leasing and move-in. Katie kept everything on track, and went above and beyond with a day packed with tours. Maple Leaf and Katie's professionalism and care really shine through - would recommend working with them!

She took over our property at a time when we were dealing with a downed tree after windstorms, and truly changed our lives for the better. She helped us to get the tree delt with, and another dangerous tree taken down so we wouldn't have this problem again. Our prior manager had been complacent, slow, and unhelpful. Katie is the exact opposite. She is prompt to respond, follows up on issues until they are resolved, and has a genuine care for the lives of her renters. She is always warm, friendly, and gets the job done! Maintaining our gutters and landscaping, ensuring seamless lease renewal, and replacing our fridge the same week that it broke are just a few examples of ways she has helped take care of us. She is absolutely an asset to the Maple Leaf Management team, and we feel so lucky to have her.

The moment we need a repair we get the cold shoulder, no follow up and over weeks of waiting. Today I pulled out my cutting board and there were MICE drippings all over and a hole in our roof that's they've been dragging their feet on repairing for 25 days in 30 degree or less weather with rain and snow. Will be reporting to every city department on their gross negligence. Do NOT RENT FROM THEM. No sane owner would want this management company controlling their property if they had a spine

I wish I could give negative stars. This is the WORST landlord experience my husband and I have…read moreever had to deal with. We have rented in different states even and have had incredibly kind, friendly landlords who are on top of their properties and their required maintenance. We have lived at our property since April of 2017. Not once have our trees/yard received their supposed yearly trimming. We have to do everything ourselves. We have roof leaks and all they have done is put a giant tarp over our roof that is a huge eye sore. We have emailed repeatedly on when it is supposed to be fixed and we get no response. It has been leaking for over 4months now, and it's been over a year since the first tarp was put up as a band aid. All the cabinets and doors are falling out of the hinges and he says it's our fault. We have black mold in a room and the carpet is wet when it rains and he told us to wipe the wall and clean it. They do nothing, and if they do anything it's the cheapest bare minimum. And then the issues come right back. They are unresponsive, rude, condescending and we wish we didn't love our neighborhood so much or we would have left years ago. We have 3 kids going to the neighborhood school and feel stuck acting like homeowners on a house that's falling apart and there's nothing we can do. Don't ever rent from this company I hope they lose their business.

You better hope you don't need to place a work order to have something fixed, because only once has that worked out well for us. When we moved in, the agent who showed us the house took over 200 pics documenting everything, so we felt pretty good. We'd noticed the porch light didn't work, but we said it wasn't a priority and it was honestly months until we put in a work order for it. The glass part of the light fixture that goes over the bulb was cracked and broken, but with a google image search I was able to identify the fixture was a basic porch light from Home Depot, which is less than a mile from our home. We just didn't own a ladder at the time to replace it ourselves, so when the bulb went out we thought it'd be easier to put in a work order and have them replace the broken glass fixture and the bulb at the same time by a handy person who would also have a ladder. No, after a week someone came out and removed the broken light fixture, and replaced the bulb, but they never installed a new light fixture. On top of that, they followed up with an accusatory email to us asking us how WE broke it? It was always broken...we can't even reach the damn thing. Same kind of story with the stove. We noticed when baking the oven will flash an F2 code. We looked it up and it seems to be an issue with a temperature sensor. Given this is a gas stove, we're not sure how serious that could be. We put in a work order on 9/22/25 and still have yet to receive so much as an acknowledgment of the service request. They want us to sign a lease renewal and pay more money in rent. For what? The service from this company is abismal. They're not even pretending to care - they just want our money. For inspections, they just email it all to you with a deadline despite the fact that it's literally their job. So you get to go do your job all day and then come home and run around your house taking pics of every space and documenting everything for them so they continue to get paid for doing nothing. It's literally their job - not yours! This is the laziest property management I've ever known.
