Vino Bello has gone down hill. We are original Shells Vacation timeshare owners since 2008…read more(decided not to move to Wyndham). Back then Vino Bello was amazing, now things are not good. It started at check in, front desk (location is no longer in the Meritage, was more luxurious) which they couldn't find our reservation because I put the reservation under my mom to checkin early but she was not able to come due to an emergency (friend passing). They said they can't check us in because the checkin person listed in their system is not present, they need proof of ownership or have my mom provide us a photo of her ID and possibly call/FaceTime her. I told them we are the main timeshare owners/account holders and my husband gave his ID. The marketing team said they can't find him and that the owners name is 'Jean' which is my husband's name (Jean-Raymond Pierre). Smh, they finally checked us in. Then they tried so hard to get us to do an timeshare refresher orientation at 8:30am and we said no however the person was like I'm confused why you can't go (literally because we're here for our nephews high school graduation) and he kept pushing for us to attend plus we would have to provide $40 to reserve our timeshare refresher. We still declined, this had to be the loooooongest checkin and mind you we've been timeshare owners here since 2008. It doesn't end! The next day (this is only 1 day) after a massage we wanted to relax before going to our nephews high school graduation and our keys were not letting us in, we were locked out of the building and room. The keys expired early and we were locked out of our rooms (check out was day 2 this was day 1). These experiences are not relaxing moments. We went to the front desk, informed the manager of all the issues and feedback to corporate. To please inform corporate that Vino Bello is going down hill. To top it off when I told the manager the room they gave us smelled like bacon, fixtures, lights are also faulty and she straight said sometimes she smells bacon when she walks down the halls (like what?). I doubt the manager was going to tell corporate anything. The staff seem unhappy and stressed. When you walk in to checkin the aura is not relaxing. Hotels in Las Vegas are more cheerful. I forgot to mention there is very limited parking, forcing you to park on the street. At the end of the day we will still use our Napa timeshare (we paid for our timeshare) and provide updates here and google reviews plus trip advisor. Note: The experience doesn't end. On our last day, at 9:24am the cleaning staff knocked and just came in our room. Realized we were in the room and left, wow...

It had all the comforts of home and even had a bocce court out back, which we weren't home enough to use. We never encountered the neighbors on either side so no complaints there. The only "complaint" is the windows are original so they're paper thin and you can hear traffic and even bugs knocking up against the windows. This wasn't in any way enough of a deterrent to keep me from booking here again in the future. Owners were great to work with and answered questions in a timely manner, which I'm discovering after years of renting private homes is a rarity! Perfect for your Napa vacay!

The kitchen was pretty well equipped with plenty of wine glasses and all the utensils and cooking tools you need. We didn't get a chance to play the board games that were in the closet. There are plenty of towels and extra covers and street parking. Minus one point for the funky smell emanating from the bedrooms and for the yellow stains on the white towels. Otherwise this is a nice quaint house to have a little get together in Napa. Oh and it is in walking distance from Oxbow Market. We even went further into downtown Napa to the visitor center (they are extremely nice and provide you with maps of the wineries and coupons for wine tastings!).
