Crudo Twudo! They're so back - excellent atmosphere (if brighter), great food and drinks, and the staff couldn't be more thrilled to be back. Go get your tapas fix!

Amazing tapas bar of the best Spanish appetizers. They kept most of their menu from before the fire plus some new favorites!! Great spot to split some entrees with a group of friends and catch up. Atmosphere was a bit loud with the tables so close together it can be overstimulating but otherwise a very tasty experience!!

We had an amazing experience checking out for the first time. Exceptional customer service from Olive, who was charismatic and knowledgeable with great suggestions. Beautiful dining room and large portions of delicious tapas from a talented kitchen.

This review is late in coming (been busy and haven't get caught up) but nonetheless hopefully informative. Crudo Nudo is definitely highly recommended when you're looking for great tasting tapas style food for your sophisticated taste. Understated from the outside, you are greeted by friendly staff with ambiance that is cozy and romantic but yet airy for gatherings. Food is reasonably priced and well-seasoned.

Super cool tapas bar with a Japanese vibe. Yummy food and great cocktails. Our bartender/server was super friendly and helpful and we enjoyed and excellent date night here! We tried the potatas bravas and hamachi along with a few cocktails. Would definitely come back and so glad to find this spot!

This is one of our new favorite date night spots! The restaurant had a really dark and moody vibe to it, perfect for a date night. Service was WONDERFUL, and the food was all fantastic. There is definitely something for everyone between Crudo, hot and cold tapas dishes, and some really heavenly pastas. We went with tuna crudo, patatas bravas, Serrano wrapped bleu cheese dates, Manchego cheese with honey, and the Shrimp Buccatini. Everything was great, but the pasta was probably my personal favorite of the main meal. The absolute unquestionable star of the show though, was the ice cream. For $9 you can get a trio of flavors, but there are 4 offerings. The current options were Black Sesame, Nutella, Honey Almond, and Goat Cheese. We couldn't totally agree on which to leave off, and our server advised we could add the 4th for $3. Absolutely worth it. This was no joke the best ice cream I've ever had in my life. It was incredibly creamy, with almost a gooey texture with a slight chew to it in the center. That probably sounds less appetizing than it was but it is a MUST HAVE. The Black Sesame was my favorite. The scoops came atop a crumble which seemed similar to a graham consistency, and it was a great compliment to the ice cream texture. Definitely add this one to your list if you need a new date night spot, or want to take friends to a unique local place.

Incredible tapas experience! Space was swanky and modern. Staff were unbelievably helpful and knowledgeable. I chose to stay away from the typical tapas dishes you might expect to see (e.g. patatas bravas, albondigas, etc.). They had so many great and exciting options like the crudo, beef tartare, and picquillas. I asked the server for drink pairings and he nailed it. Even an off-menu sherry to go with dessert. Would come back again and again.

My brother and I came here after enjoying a day at The Chrysler Museum (which was also awesome, by the way). This place is fantastic!!! Be aware that you will need reservations as the dining room is fairly small and this restaurant is really popular. The tapas are fairly large portions compared to other tapas places we have been to, so I would recommend picking your top items first (we didn't even finish 4). We ordered the olives and the almonds first. The olives come warmed, which I was surprised by, but they were very good. The almonds were delicious! We didn't finish either one. I also ordered the Midnight Trust...twice. It's a mezcal drink, so if you like mezcal... this drink does not disappoint! We asked the server whether to get the mussels or albondigas, and she recommended the mussels, so we ordered that and the patatas bravas. OMG, SO GOOD!!! The mussels come in a saffron sauce, and there's some Spanish chorizo in it that is out of this world! The inside is quaint and you may be seated directly next to another diner (think separated only by a foot or so), so if you don't want that, make sure you ask for a booth or your own table when you reserve. I just want to know how to reserve the swinging chairs The service was amazing with someone constantly filling our water and asking us if we were doing OK. My brother got the avocado cheesecake, and I got the torta for dessert. He LOVED the avocado cheesecake and said it was one of the best deserts he ever had! We will be back as I still want a whole order of the chorizo, and I want to try the black rice, ceviche, and manchego and honey. That's already 4 more for next time!

Everything is absolutely delicious. Never had a bad bite. My one con would be the closeness of tables to your neighbors if you're not in a booth.

We went out for acid fish which was a pop mediterranean raw fish experience, and they delivered all the way through with the combination of fish as well as the flavor profile of each and how the presentation is. You just immediately are very pleased with everything I would recommend trying them out when they come through again and they do pop in quite frequently at this lounge and this was my first time ever trying them out and I'm very pleased of the service as well as the introduction of each component of the dish, the cooks were very friendly, as well as given us guidance of what choices to choose from based off of the menu. The menu does change each time they do come so items that you will see will vary, depending on what they are putting on for the menu. We try their Sicilian sashimi that was definitely a 10 out of 10 and good for people that want to kind of share rather than have a full plate is definitely well proportion as well as light and not too heavily in on the pallet. The vibes vary from day to day depending on what time you get there it can get really packed so the earlier the better if you want more of a calm night I would suggest getting there early rather later cause that is usually when the dj that are going on that night come in that's usually there peak time. The drinks are well crafted I tried their cocktail called Saturn it had a sweet taste and was more of tropical with the passion fruit perfect pairing with the raw fish dish we tried tonight. There's now a security table/desk where the DJ booth used to be; definitely wasted space where more tables and chairs could've been added instead. Had to stand for about 10 mins before some people finally left then we had to like "hurry" to get the seats before anyone else got them. We needed an extra chair at our table and went up to the security to ask if he knew where anymore could be or if we could borrow the one that was behind his table since he seemed to only be standing all night, but he responded kind of harsh with a stern "NO"....def unnecessary. Even though he was rude, the bartenders were the opposite, making funny light conversation and friendly while we ordered and waited for our drinks. The atmosphere was a nice, chill, and intimate vibe, with red/orange lighting. To drink: I tried the Saturn (8/10) it was pretty good, I liked the flavor, but there really didn't seem to be much alcohol in it fr. To eat: we ordered a Margherita Pizza and added Pepperoni (10/10) it was fresh, flavorful, and all around really good. There were hints of spice in the sauce that really added to the flavors. Their pizza seems to be a popular menu item as I seen pizza boxes on almost every table throughout the night. Def will be back again, but next time, we're going to get there early, so we can have a table for the night. Looked like once people secured themselves a table in here, they held it all night long and never moved / left till closing. My overall rate of experience : 7.5/10

The restaurant was fairly empty, with only three other tables occupied, so we were surprised by the length of the wait. Our two canned Sapporos didn't arrive until about 30 minutes after ordering. The shrimp sandwich took approximately 45 minutes, and the Vang rolls arrived after about an hour. After waiting an hour, we were informed that the garlic shrimp for our garlic noodles was unavailable, despite it being part of our original order. Unfortunately, the Vang rolls were so salty that we couldn't finish them. Throughout the meal, our water glasses were never refilled, and there was little communication about the delays or unavailable menu items. After roughly 90 minutes of waiting, multiple delays, and learning that several items were unavailable, we decided to pay for what we had received the two Sapporos, the shrimp sandwich, and the Vang rolls, which came to about $70. The vibe here is bright and welcoming, with funky decor and friendly staff who clearly love what they do. To start, we ordered the Pickle de Gallo with chips. If you're a pickle lover, this is a must order appetizer. The combination of tart, crunchy pickles with traditional pico flavors is super unique and unexpectedly addictive. I couldn't stop dipping. For our mains, my friend went with the Chicken Tinga bowl. It's packed with rice, black beans, tender chicken tinga, onion, cilantro, queso fresco, cabbage, plus a blend of roja and blanca salsas. He seemed to enjoy it, and loved how the chicken was flavorful, with just the right amount of spice, and all the toppings kept every bite interesting without overpowering the rest of the bowl. I went with the Chimichurri Bowl special, and it was equally fantastic. The chimichurri sauce was herby and bright. Perfect on top of the rice and protein. Every ingredient tasted super fresh, and you can tell they put effort into balancing the textures and flavors. We paired our food with drinks: I had a glass of wine (always nice to see wine on a taqueria menu!) and my friend tried the Paloma, which was refreshing and citrusy, not overly sweet. Perro Blanco nails it with creative food, great drinks, and top-notch service. If you're looking for something new and delicious in a laid-back setting, you need to check this place out. Friendly, attentive service without being overbearing is always appreciated, and she struck that balance perfectly. My wife ordered the Red Curry Bowl with blackened chicken, baby bok choy, radishes, carrots, green onions, cilantro, and rice noodles in a rich red curry coconut broth. This dish was both aesthetically pleasing and delicious. The vegetables were fresh, the broth was flavorful without being overpowering, and the generous portion made for a hearty meal. In fact, there was simply too much to finish, which is rarely something to complain about. She thoroughly enjoyed it. I chose The Richmond, a fried chicken sandwich topped with pimento cheese, bacon, jalapeños, Mike's Hot Honey, spicy aioli, lettuce, and tomato on a potato bun, served with fresh-cut fries. The chicken itself was excellent, and the fries were crispy, fresh, and plentiful. Where the sandwich lost me was in its identity. There was so much happening between the pimento cheese, spicy aioli, bacon, jalapeños, and hot honey that each ingredient seemed to compete with the others rather than complement them. Somewhere along the way, it crossed the Rubicon from a Nashville hot chicken sandwich into something entirely different. That's not necessarily a bad thing. It simply wasn't for me. I finished it, and I certainly didn't dislike it, but I wouldn't order it again. Sometimes restraint is the better part of culinary creativity, and I think this sandwich would benefit from letting one or two of its ingredients take center stage instead of asking them all to share the spotlight. Overall, we enjoyed our visit. Good food, generous portions, excellent service, and a relaxed atmosphere make Craft on Colley a place we'll happily return to. We had shared a couple of the small plates and enjoyed them both. We enjoyed the place so much that we decided to come back with a group of 14 for All Lovers Eve. Second time: Made the reservation with ease. If you've ever made a group reservation you know how complicated some places make it. This was a large group and they were short handed. This lead to a slower service which actually worked out well for our group. We didn't mind the gaps. They put us in their back room (hint - GREAT for groups) there was a little confusion with the order to include an extra dish we didn't order. We still ate it and paid for it though. The staff was great with our large and rather disruptive group. The food was all excellent (local oysters on the half shell and the apple desert were my highlights). Multiple cocktails that were all wonderful. My only real negative was that there was a $50 "loyalty club " charge that was never mentioned and I didn't even notice on the $1200.00 bill. This is, I believe, some sort of credit card fee. Both times were good. Both times staff were wonderful. Both times we were comfortable. Give the place a try. I don't think you will regret it.

It's the kind of establishment that understands both execution and consistency--two qualities that are increasingly rare and always appreciated. The shrimp and grits remains a signature highlight. The Creole sauce offers a restrained heat, balanced by a layered depth of flavor that speaks to careful preparation rather than excess. The shrimp are properly cooked, retaining a delicate snap, while the stone-ground grits provide a well-seasoned, creamy foundation. Each component is thoughtfully prepared, and together they form a cohesive dish that feels both composed and satisfying--an authentic nod to Cajun tradition without unnecessary embellishment. Gershwin's stands as a reliable fixture in the downtown dining scene. For those seeking a refined take on Southern and New Orleans classics, it is well worth the visit--and a strong example of the quality found within Norfolk's local restaurant community.

If this restaurant was in an area that was even moderately competitive they would have been put out of business. The bar seems adequate but it was almost like they stopped serving food and forgot to tell anyone. I swear I'm not making this up, this actually happened: 1) it took over 2.5 hours for the entrees to come out. One came out so early that by the time the second set came out they were already done. 2) The only appetizer that was ordered that actually came out, arrived after the entree was done. 3) One person's order had to be changed 5x because the waiter kept coming back to say they're out. When his pork chop finally arrived, it was undercooked and not eatable. 4) Nothing was offered in any way as a comp, nor any real apology If you go, be wary. There is no way they were this thoroughly incompetent in every single aspect of the food services industry without practice.
