No crazy sales tactics no selling you crap you don't need. Just honest to the point help. They have a loyal customer base which of which I am happy to be a part of. BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU COMPLAINT FORTHCOMING…read more I strongly recommend that prospective buyers use caution before purchasing from Road Trip Camping. My experience after buying a 2024 TAXA TigerMoth Overland has been extraordinarily frustrating, and I am now preparing to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. When I purchased the camper, owner Warren and his staff repeatedly emphasized Road Trip Camping's relationship with TAXA, their standing as a major dealer, and Warren's personal relationships with people at the company. Those assurances gave me confidence that if something went wrong, I would be taken care of. Unfortunately, things went wrong almost immediately. First, the air conditioner supplied with the camper made violent gurgling noises and had damaged controls. When I initially reported it, Flo suggested the noise might be normal because her trailer's AC sounded similar. I pushed the issue, submitted a warranty claim, and the replacement was ultimately approved. I was instructed to purchase the replacement myself and submit the receipt for reimbursement. I did exactly that. Months later, I still have not been reimbursed more than $200 for the replacement AC. Then came something far more serious. On only my third trip with the camper, the driver's-side wheel bearing disintegrated while my wife, children, and I were traveling approximately 70 mph. A passing motorist yelled to us that our tire was on fire. We slowed down and pulled over. The bearing had failed catastrophically and generated enough heat to damage the hub components. When the trailer service company arrived, the wheel was precariously positioned on the axle. This could have ended very differently. This was particularly disturbing because I had been told the camper had been serviced and inspected before I purchased it. Warren personally assured me that he would oversee the warranty repair. Because I live nearly four hours from the dealership, parts were shipped to my home so the work could be completed locally. When one shipment arrived, I was required to pay nearly $100 in import charges just to receive the warranty parts. I then paid approximately $585 for the local repair/service work and submitted the costs for reimbursement. Again, I have not been reimbursed. Throughout this process I copied Road Trip Camping on communications and repeatedly asked for their help. At one point Brittany told me they had left a message with Storyteller's main office and that if I wanted additional information, I should contact Storyteller's Accounts Payable department myself. After purchasing the camper from Road Trip Camping based partly on assurances about their relationship with the manufacturer, I found that response astonishing. I am now out nearly $1,000 between warranty-related expenses, repair costs, shipping/import charges, and the replacement AC, while continuing to discover issues with a camper I was told had been inspected before delivery. Most frustratingly, Warren personally assured me that if Storyteller did not make this right, he would. That has not happened. I have retained the emails, warranty documentation, receipts, photographs, repair information, and correspondence associated with these issues. I would welcome Road Trip Camping responding publicly and answering two very simple questions: 1. Why have these documented warranty expenses still not been reimbursed? 2. Will Road Trip Camping honor Warren's personal assurance that these issues would be taken care of? Until that happens, based on my experience, I cannot recommend purchasing a camper from Road Trip Camping.

All the places that I called we're booking a month out and I was moving in a month and a half. Knowing the severity of the consequences if the problem wasn't resolved, Heidi got me in right away. I strongly recommend this shop. Bill did excellent work and was super helpful and knowledgeable. I will definitely be bringing my rig here again. Update: Once again Bill, Rob, and Heidi are lifesavers. I was leaving town to move across country. My distribution hitch needed to be adjusted as we were leaving town. I called the closest dealer near me (that lion) concerned about distance, and like usual they couldn't help me until maybe tomorrow and threw me their price before anything else. I called Queenstown, Heidi checked with her crew and they were able to squeeze me in ASAP. Bill and Rob stood out in pouring rain and 32 degrees to get me safely on the road. I am so great full. I won't hesitate to make them my first choice service provider when we get back into the area. Thanks y'all!

First, our salesperson, Mike Dandenault, was excellent. He was professional, helpful, and never hesitated to track down answers when he didn't have them immediately. He was one of the bright spots in the process. Unfortunately, our interaction with Tony Mills in finance was the opposite. We were clear from the beginning that we did not need financing. Despite that, we were steered into his office anyway. He opened by asking, "I'm guessing you might have good credit?" followed by "I'll need your maiden name," even though we had already stated we weren't financing. When we repeated that we didn't need financing, he insisted he could "save us a lot of money." After declining again, he abruptly told us to leave his office. It was disrespectful and unnecessary. Things worsened when our trailer was damaged due to a storm. We were sent a photo of the dented fender. and asked for a full inspection (prior to our pickup date) for any unseen damage. Instead of reassurance, we received an email from Kelly Shanholtzer, the President, opening with "your reaction is over the top', along with additional photos and the admission that the trailer had not been chocked properly and rolled into another trailer during the storm. That response alone spoke volumes about how customer concerns are handled at the leadership level. On a positive note, Jess Bonhomme in Parts was outstanding. She was knowledgeable, respectful, and genuinely helped us make smart choices on accessories for our new trailer. We also are 2 weeks into owning our trailer and it has not been registered with the manufacturer, and no warranty information is yet available. On a positive note, the manufacturer (NuCamp) has been very helpful with following up on our warranty information. Overall, our advice to anyone considering Beckley's is simple: do your homework, visit other dealers, and proceed with caution if you choose to work with them.

A couple days later Ty called us to schedule the walk through/signing. We asked if we could do 3pm or later during the week or anytime over the weekend. Ty said the latest he would agree to was 2:30pm and then said, "most people are so excited to make a big purchase like this that they just take off work. Why can't you take off work?" (Keep in mind this is last minute). We reluctantly agreed to come at 2:30. GUESS WHAT!? We show up to do our walk through at 2:30 and the camper was never sent to Frederick from Joppa. Funniest part is that James (manager) acted like he had no idea we hadn't seen the camper in person yet DESPITE being the one who told us we would be able to see it before signing final documents at our appointment. We still gave them the benefit of the doubt and agreed to buy the camper site unseen with the agreement that when the campers delivered to our campsite (2 hours away from us) we would be able to do a walk through and get the keys. While waiting on delivery, I get 4 calls from Jeff asking how we are liking the camper which we DON'T even have yet!!! You haven't delivered it! I get a call from James AFTER signing all the final documents saying the payments will actually be $50 more per month than they told us, never asked if it was okay, etc. We were also told the scheduling lady would call to confirm delivery which never happened, we had to reach out multiple times instead. Delivery finally happens and THEY DON'T HAVE KEYS TO THE CAMPER! We can't get it set up or do anything and have to drive 2 hours back home to fight with James and Ty for days on where our keys were. They kept saying they would call us back, never did. When we finally got a hold of James, he said the keys could be picked up from Frederick the following afternoon, they obviously didn't follow through on this either, didn't even call us to say they weren't there, then blamed it on Joppa per usual. Everything was Joppa's fault, not Frederick's if you ask James. Then they said the keys would be in Frederick the following morning. We kept calling to confirm the keys were in the office as promised since the first go around they weren't. They again kept saying they would call us back when they had a new time to pick them up but big surprise.. no one ever called us back. The kicker is that James had the nerve to ask me to give them a positive Google review..... so, here's your much deserved review, James! You've lost multiple customers over this! Do better!!!

Very happy with the service to this point. ************************************** So far so good, We bought a new Thor Scope and the process went pretty well - I will explain the pretty well later ;) First off our sales person Brian Hersey was great. We had great online communication and the great communication continued when we were at the location. No pressure in the sales and he gave us a lot of good info. We took care of most of the paperwork online. Still spent a few hours at pickup :( Right now I think they did very well - which could go up or down. It seems we got the wrong keys. The remotes work but a day later when I tried the actual key it wasn't even close to working, so I think we have some mixed keys floating around. I know I should have checked at the dealer, but I haven't used an actual key in a vehicle for a bit. I am in the process of scheduling the protective coat process, so we will see how that goes. And I need to return a few things since the adapter and surge strip don't fit our Scope. Got a bit of bad advice in the store I guess. No biggy. We will see how this goes and I will update the review.

Drove 2 hours, sat waiting for 4 hours and then a 2 hour drive home along with over $100 in gas. Did everything that was asked for in the email for them to look at the RV only for them to tell me they already have 2 rvs same manufacture as mine and they are not buying. After sitting there for 4 hours, zero communication, nothing and then we are not interested in buying. Poor communication, lied on the phone and email and really poor business practices. One of the worst most wasted experiences I have had the displeasure of ever being put through. I will never visit another camping world ever, search facebook to find out more info on the company.
