Let me say that in the world of ice cream, there are many options. Just like flavors and toppings, cones to cups, it's a decision making mecca. This can be good when at a shop, or at home, but when you are trying to provide a quick treat to a large company or event, I want simple. I want to be able to select a few items and be done with it. I want to know that everything is all taken care of and I won't need to worry about this part of my event. Corena checked all the boxes here. She has a wide selection of items to choose from and can also customize for you. She was on time (even when faced with Bay Area traffic). She had a full set up that consisted of an umbrella, menu stand, ice cream cart, uniform, bright smiling face, and a service-focused attitude. She has a background in running a customer service firm so she knows what she is doing here. I watched her ability to serve to about 100 people at our event and she crushed the line in no time. Great image and logo on her equipment as well. Pricing was perfectly aligned with what you want in an event attraction like this. We hired Crusin Creams for our groundbreaking ceremony in Gilroy and it was an outside event. We thought of what the other options and it melts down to this (see what I did there?) 1. Do you want a full service (scooped ice cream service) or pre-packaged treats? I wanted a quick turn and burn operation so full service was not an option. Now if you're planning a picnic or slower event where people won't mind waiting in a slower line, then full service may be an option. (IMO, the dollar spent to satisfaction ratio is way higher with a pre-packaged treat). 2. How much do you want to spend? This option was way more affordable than the custom scooped version. That got pricy very quickly and wasn't worth it. Not to mention they would be waiting longer. So there ya go. My 2 cents. Hope you find what you are looking for. read more
