We wanted fresh fruit, so we came out to try La Original Paleteria. It's very easy to find, and they have their own parking lot. It is very clean, and the ladies working behind the counter are very nice and helpful. We got the fresh fruit bowl, strawberries and cream, along with some mexican candy. I liked my strawberries, but the fruit bowl was a miss, the fruit was a little hard (not ripe) and we only nibbled it. The candy was delicious. I love coming to this family owned place for my Mexican snacks! I switch what up what I usually get! But I found out they have the chicharron preparado (on their menu it's called Duro Preparado, which is the big chicharron with pickled pig skin, cabbage, onions, tomatoes, cheese & Valentina sauce, 10/10! I also got to try their Horchata and it was so good 10/10! Their parking is a bit small and hard to get in and out of but I got lucky to find a spot. Otherwise you have to find street parking.
