The vegan flavours are somewhat less interesting than the some of the dairy flavours, but still offers some variety: they always carry vegan vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, and grasshopper. You can also get any of the vegan flavours in your sundae/blizz/whatever, so this is actually a very good place if you can't or don't want to have dairy. Having tried all of the vegan flavours, I thought the chocolate was actually too cloyingly rich and sweet, but I really liked the others. The vegan ice cream is oat-based, which I prefer over the more common coconut. They also have a rotating selection of soup (with a few meat and a few vegetarian or vegan options available at any given time) in what I assume is a bid to stay relevant during the winter. The ice cream is still the main attraction for me at any time of year but the soup is worth getting if you want to make a meal of it, and it's nice to have something healthy to balance out the ice cream. I have tried the cream of asparagus and carrot ginger. The carrot ginger had shredded carrot in it instead of being a totally smooth puree, which I actually really liked. There is also some summery Americana food like hot dogs and mac and cheese, but I haven't tried any of that so I can't comment. The place has lots of seating inside and outside. It seems like they generally get very busy in the evenings but it's usually quieter during the day. The staff have been friendly in my experience. When I ordered a soup and sundae together, they offered to make the sundae and keep it in the fridge for me until I was ready to eat it, which was nice and thoughtful.

Each were very flavorful and the dough was perfect. I personally enjoyed the chicken arepa the most. We were both very pleased with our meals. The Venezuelan cheese however was not my favorite cheese ever.. so I might ask for it on the side so that it doesn't ruin your whole arepa/sandwich just in case you feel the same. The hard ice cream is all homemade. I've mostly gotten the cyclones and sundaes with soft serve, but the scoops in my banana split were good. In addition to regular soft serve, they also have Dream DeLite, which is a low glycemic index (diabetic-friendly) yogurt/whey-based soft serve. I like to get this since even the small sizes are pretty big, and the DD feels like a lighter option. By itself, I find the flavor is slightly off from regular vanilla ice cream, but the texture is good, and when it's mixed with different flavors and toppings, I can't really tell the difference. Almost all of the specialty sundaes and cyclones I've tried have hit the spot. My favourites have been the classic banana split sundae, and the mud pie and German chocolate cyclones. The only thing I did not like was the mint Oreo cyclone - the mint flavor was too concentrated and kind of tasted like mint toothpaste (I usually like mint ice cream). The cyclones sometimes aren't blended all the way to the bottom of the cup, but this isn't a big deal. The employees seem to be high school/university students. They're usually friendly and have their operations organized. There are a few other Jiffy Treets locally that I haven't visited, but based on what the other ones put online, this one doesn't have some of the seasonal ice cream flavors or vegan soft serve that some of the other locations advertise.

Some fell out of the sandwich, but I just ate them with the home fries. The home fries also were nicely seasoned. The tea was a little off. It's possible it was the tea itself that didn't taste how I expected, but it kind of tasted like I was getting the flavour of a different tea in the pot. Breakfast: Apple pancake and bouquet latte (seasonal special - lavender Ceylon tea latte with honey and rose syrup). The bouquet latte was wonderful and had this beautiful red swirl latte art. Almost every time I've come here, they're either out of something or the fryer is down/not on yet. They have non dairy milk listed on the menu, and the first time I came here, I ordered and received an oolong milk tea with almond milk, but next time, when I tried to order a green milk tea with soy milk, they said all the milk teas were made with non-dairy creamer and they could only do the alt milk for lattes. All that aside, I have never been unhappy with anything that I actually got. Their matcha latte (regular or strawberry) is pretty good and the honey boba is excellent. The regular sugar level is too sweet for me, but less sweet is great. The cheese corn dog varies in the ratio of cornbread to cheese and how "done" it's cooked, but I've never gotten one that was bad. The most recent one I got was the best. They are kind of difficult and messy to eat because the melted cheese doesn't want to stay on the stick with the breading weighing it down. I haven't had the issue with the super long wait time again. The corn dog normally takes about 10 minutes because of how long it takes to make the thing, drinks are usually ready sooner. Most of the baristas are friendly, some not so much. I have gotten the eye roll once when I asked for a topping they were out of even though there was no way I could have known this. I do think it's overall worth it to come here, because again, the product is good and the cafe space is cute, but the situation where you can't count on anything being available is frustrating.
