Crumbl sells cookies. They are good cookies. They are big cookies. They have 6 flavors and there are new flavors every week. If you got a bad cookie, come back in a week and give them another shot on something different, you might've picked a flavor that didn't work out. I'm personally partial to the tart flavors when they have them. Key lime, lemon and strawberry have all been pretty great cookies. Some haven't been so good, I didn't really like the standard chocolate chip very much and occasionally the sugary flavors are just too sweet. These cookies come with a lot of buttercream frosting and if you pick a sweet variety in my opinion is a bit overwhelming. Thankfully, I've been there, and I have an easy quick fix. It's frosting... scrape some of it off. They're cookies. They're good. Have fun! I'm not really sure what made the reviewers in Lacey so uptight about this place. I had no idea a cookie store would be so divisive. It's really got me wondering what's going on with my neighbors! Some people seem to be upset by the price. This place sells a fairly large cookie for $5. If you buy 4 they're $4 each. It's basically the equivalent of a dessert at a restaurant & it seems more than reasonable at this price. More than a few people seem to have troubles even finishing one. Some people seem upset that the cookies are soft. I had no idea this was some sort of bizarre culture war. A soft cookie is not a raw or underbaked cookie. It's soft, and that's exactly what these cookies are. They're pretty standard for soft cookies. I personally don't like a crunchy cookie, but if you do, you won't find it here. I've had around a dozen different varieties at this point, and they've all been soft. TL;DR They're large, yummy, soft cookies. If spending $4-5 for dessert bothers you OR if you for some unknown reason want a hard, scratchy, make your gums bleed type of cookie, move along. Go grab a $2 bag of some Chips Ahoy (or whatever it is you do like) and call it a day. For everyone else who likes a good cookie and has a sweet tooth... Come right in! This place is all hype. It's supremely overpriced. The cookies are overly sweet and either cake-like or still very doughy or raw. Not everyone likes soft cookies. It's a cute place and I love the packaging and the fact that they rotate flavors but we paid nearly $20 bucks for FOUR cookies!!! COOKIES.... Yes, they're big cookies but they're not twenty dollars big... I'd heard that they were just fantastic but we were really pretty disappointed with it. First time to visit tonight. First, we waited a few minutes at the drive thru to go to the window to see if we misunderstood the times. It was open so we went back around. Took them another hot minute to acknowledge we were there and take our order. The girl was super short toned while taking my order. I went tonight and my brownie Sunday cookie was so hard and crunchy, I could barely cut into it with an actual knife. The other 3 cookies were baked weird as well. Well, it's been a year now and something has to give. It seems the owner filled the store with great tasting cookies and bodies resembling workers but forgot to enforce any standards of customer service, speed, cleanliness, etc... These are huge, weighty cookies. Yes they have about 1,000 calories per cookie. But that's not my problem with them. They are severely underbaked in the middle so that about half of the cookie is more like eating cookie dough. Specifically in this instance it is the milk chocolate chip cookies, which would be really good if they were adequately baked. The staff are nice though! read more

Ugh. This location is the worst. We ordered several hours ahead last night for pickup at a specific time for a birthday dinner. This was the first of 5 food stops I needed to make, and I had my baby in the car. Since it was already ordered and paid for I chose the drive-thru instead of the packed lobby so I didn't have to unload the kiddo and stand packed in with the other people. When we finally got to the speaker I told them I had an order for pickup and the name and they said no problem and asked me to pull forward to the window. When I finally got to the window I waited a few minutes as they asked my name (a few times) and if I was Doordash or Uber. I explained (a few times) that I was just picking up my personal order that had been placed earlier. I was then told after 15 minutes of waiting in the drive-thru that I needed to come inside because they couldn't give me my order through the window as it was a different system. (What?) I pulled around, parked, got the kiddo out of the car, and went inside. I asked for my pickup order. They asked for the name. (a few times) They asked if I was DoorDash or Uber. I explained (a few times) that I was just picking up my personal order. I waited while they looked all over, looked at computers, did a shift change, made other orders, and then someone said just make the order. So, they packed a box with 4 cookies and handed it to me. I had ordered the 6-pack. And 'birthday wrapping'. I explained that the 4 was not correct and they started over. After 30+ minutes of waiting I was given a six-pack that I had ordered hours before and they put a 1" black sticker on it that said Happy Birthday. That was the extra 'birthday wrapping'. Over 30 minutes. In the next 14 minutes, I picked up food from pho, panda, Pattaya, and Dutch. And EVERY place was more than happy to WALK my prepaid orders to the car for me. 14 minutes. There were at LEAST 11 employees working at Crubl that I could see and I couldn't see the entire store. I tried hard not to express my frustration as the kids working there were just that. Doing a job. This is clearly a management/training issue. I could almost excuse the doughy HoneyBun cookie or the dry-as-sand Cowboy if I was not already frustrated with the experience. And paying extra for a sticker!? Get out. These are overpriced and you don't even get a good experience. Go Miss Moffets or Simple and Delicious. Support a local business that gives a sh*t about you.
