Friendly staff and some how it is $0.25 cheaper than in Stockton. I guess it's the taxes? Absolutely no line! The double chocolate brownie cookie with chocolate drizzle is heavenly! My new favorite! Today was my daughters birthday so we got a cookie each instead of cake because everyone knows cookies are better than cake! This has been all over my tik tok and IG feed so I was definitely excited to try it. However, the cookies were just alright. For the price ($4/cookie), the price is rather steep but since they are big it makes up for the price. The taste of the cookies really depend on the flavors of that week, but even the standard chocolate chip cookie tasted average. Chocolate chip cookie 3/5: it was okay, nothing special. It is definitely more dough-y, almost cake like in terms of texture. I've had better cookies and these are not comparable to Levain's. Strawberry shortcake 4/5: these were surprisingly not as sweet as I thought. The frosting was very light so I really appreciated that. This was overall a pretty good cookie but it didn't have much strawberry flavoring. Peanut butter brownie 4/5: it was really rich in flavor. It's very moist and I think the brownie part paired really well with the peanut butter. The only issue I had though with this is when I opened the box, the peanut butter on top was already melting and dripping everywhere. Overall, this place really depends on the week's flavors. Worth it to come and get a flavor you want to try but not worth it if you don't check before hand in the case they don't have a flavor you want. read more

05/15/21: I read they were opening a location in Stockton then heard Lodi was already open so I figured I'd go and give their chocolate chip cookie a try since that is my favorite. + cookies are served warm + jumbo size + chocolate chip had a soft/chewy center with a little crisp on the outside + easy ordering in-store and in the app. They also offer curbside pickup. - price is kind of high at $4 for one cookie as opposed to under $3 at Boudin - extremely high fat content including saturated fat. 96% DV on the chocolate chip. Yikes. Indulge accordingly lol hopefully they'll have the minis available here soon as they are listed on their website. Just a note: one review said Panera's chocolate chip cookie is better. It is definitely NOT unless you like more bite. I've eaten enough of them from catered lunches to tell you they are more on the hard side than soft/chewy. I'll be trying Crumbl's Oreo cookie soon and based on the chocolate chip I have high hopes. If you love cookies with crisp on the outside and a soft/chewy inside then you should give them a try. read more

WORTH. THE. HYPE. Ok I think we also got lucky because it wasn't busy when we came, but wow. We have been hearing about this place from other friends and just happened to see this location because we were in the area for the day. I'm so glad we made a stop! We ordered the 4 pack and got the chocolate chip, salted toffee, strawberries and cream, and cake batter. They were hugeee and warm so we started sampling them all right away in the car. Each cookie was amazing. Surprisingly my favorite ended up being the strawberry and cream and cake batter. Yumm, they were so good! I would go here & recommend it to others. With Caution. I was disappointed in the clerks there. I will give them another chance or 2, because the cookies are amazing. Their attitudes need to be friendlier & more outgoing!!! But, i would watch the clerks. Their customer service attitude needs to improve. Another concern, The clerks with long (& probably short hair, too!), clerks should wear hair nets or some sort of head covering. Doesn't the Health Department enforce this? One clerk, flipped his hair right over the box my cookies were going in. Their staffing/process needs improvement here. I went in last night and multiple employees could be heard laughing somewhere in the back while one young woman worked up front alone. She helped the customer in front of me, who paid in cash/coins, while wearing gloves. She sorted through multiple sections of the cash drawer trying to make his change then took my order. Then she went to prep both our orders without changing gloves. She touched everyone's cookies and the bottom of all the boxes that she assembled. From a food handling standard, the same person is not supposed to handle cash and food. If they had no other choice, the young woman needed to change her gloves before she handled the food. I pointed this out and she told me she would re-do my order, no problem.. but then she turned around, didn't change the gloves and did the exact same thing again so I don't think she understood. Even though I had already paid, I walked out without the order. I was just too grossed out at the thought of what else might be going on in there from a health/food handling perspective. read more
