Service was friendly and fast. The establishment was nice and clean. This was my first time trying them out and I have to say they had some nice flavors. I got a 6ct of minis so I could try a few different t ones. They only have like 5-6 flavors to choose from but what I heard is their flavors change like every week or month. I tried the rocky road, chocolate chip, and peanut butter. Now I'm not a rocky road fan but BAYBAY!!!.....yes indeed. Those were my favorite. I mean you can't go wrong with the chocolate chip cookie either however they should ask do you want the salt on top before they put it in there. I didn't care for the salt topping. I love Crumbl. Is it expensive, yes. Is it worth it as a treat, yes. I will say my visit to this store wasn't wonderful but over all I've enjoyed all the cookies I've had at Crumbl. Unfortunately, at this particular location I ordered ahead and even though there was no one in line inside, I still had to wait more than ten minutes to even be acknowledged by the staff. The staff was behind the counter talking to one another and on their phones. I was really disappointed that I had to eventually callout to get someone's attention after standing at the counter waiting to be helped. Now, to review the cookies. AMAZING! You really can't go wrong! I ordered ahead on the app to earn my Crumbl rewards so that eventually I can redeem them for a free cookie of my choice. My favorite is a tie between the chocolate chip cookie and the Snickerdoodle cookie. No cookie went uneaten. Be careful, if you order via Uber eats, and accidentally mess up the address but don't cancel within seconds, they will still charge you for cookies that you won't even get to eat. I recently had a student recommend Crumbl Cookies in Matthews to me and I decided to take him up on his recommendation. First, this location is very clean, well lit and fully stocked. The customer service was excellent and above what I expected for a cookie shop. The staff was very friendly, professional and helpful. I placed my order and it only took a couple of moments for me to receive hot, freshly made Chocolate Chip and Fudge Crumbl cookies. When I got home, which was a 30 minute drive, the cookies were still warm and the taste and texture was perfect. The portion size is well worth the money and if you decide to buy in bulk then you get a discount. I want to say a special thanks to Sarah, the Assistant Manager who help me out; she was wonderful. Crumbl Cookies allows you to place your order online ahead of time which can be about twenty minutes or you can stop by and order. Overall, it was a great experience and great cookies. My 5 star review is for Brianna who saw me struggling with the Apple Pay lol, and immediately came running. When I first came in, I told the young lady behind the counter (she looked sweet, but maybe she was just shy) that this was my first time here. She smiled, but turned back around to finish packing the box of cookies she had been working on. Again, she seemed really sweet, so I don't think her ignoring me was intentional but after standing there for a minute or so, I noticed that other people were starting to come in and tap the monitors on the side of the wall. I got the young ladies attention again, and asked if I'm supposed to order on the wall, to which she replied with a smile, "Yes." It looked like they were really busy trying to get in a big order or something in, so I didn't take it too personally, but I told her "Honey, you have to tell me these things so I know." She smiled, and I headed to the monitors on the wall, but the Apple Pay didn't seem to be working, which may have been user error lol. Pretty sweet shop in the heart of the Sycamore Commons shopping center. This is a great place for all my cookie lovers. They have these gigantic cookies some with icing and others stuffed with different flavors. Some of the flavors change each week. They have awards program where you can earn point for every dollar spent.You can order ahead in the app and they bring it out to you. They also have catering. I finally had to come in for myself. Coworkers have ordered cookies from here before but I wanted to check out their location myself. I went on a Saturday afternoon. The waiting area was full of people, thankfully they had already ordered! I placed my order on the iPad to the side and paid there too. Very easy. I was disappointed as they were out of several flavors, their bottled water and Ice cream. I feel like this type of bakery/business model, and Crumbl Cookies specifically, was born out of the Instagram foodie, gotta 'gram everything cool that I eat and show how trendy this is/I am, ever present and dominating social media society we live in. Let's face it, Crumbl cookies are hard to beat. They are huge, warm, and delicious. They are definitely pricier than other bakery cookies but try one and you'll understand why. I will say, the per cookie price at this location, $3.83, was less than our home location in PA. Hmmm? The cookie that I really wanted to try was the Strawberry Ice Cream Bar but they were sold out! So disappointing! I did try a banana bread cookie. Meh! It truly needed more banana flavor. The inside was quite underbaked. I get it; I know slightly under baking is trendy but this really looked wet inside. Think cookie butter, but banana bread butter instead. I would have liked it more had it been baked longer. The four star rating is due to staff and service. Although service was quick and the shop was busy, we were never greeted upon entering and had to figure out how to order by looking around. I've been in a group chat for weeks and every third days Crumbl Cookies is mentioned. After 3-4 weeks I found myself in the area(15mins away) so why not stop by? The order from a tablet(kiosk) instead of at the register messed me up and had me thinking negative but that was quickly squashed. You do everything at the tablet. They show you the cookie options(menu) for the day, allow you to pay, choose how many cookies, and so forth. 5-10(less than 10) mins later they are icing up your cookies and calling your name. I went with the teddy grahams,oreo something, and chocolate chip cookies. That teddy Graham, Graham cracker cookie...heaven sent!!!! It was nice and warm, even after a 10 minute ride wehome and just delectable is the only way to describe it. Sweet but not too sweet, warm and chewy and a blessing from God is the only way to describe it. The oreo cookies were good and nothing against them but I would go with 2 teddy grahams over the oreo next time. Disclaimer, I'm not a chocolate lover so that could be it. It was definitely good though. The chocolate chip cookies were better than your average/normal cookies. Ordering chocolate chip cookies, I would go here! The price...upon first impression I was thinking....WAY TOO MUCH!!! After eating the cookies, I would splurge on them. It was like $13 for 4 cookies. They are pretty large and I would say worth it.
