Cookies are always pretty consistent! Was a little disappointed with the butter cake, that's usually my fav but It was pretty hard this time around. The other cookies were tasty, the cashier I was friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute little store[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

The wait at 9 pm was out the door for this place! The cookies were fresh and delicious making the wait worth our time. We got pink sugar, birthday oreo, twix, and snickers in the minis. Big fan of crumbl and will definitely be back.

    Only decor (logo wall)

I've been hearing about this chain for awhile now, so finally decided to check it out. Unfortunately, I was underwhelmed. I actually expected MUCH better. For some reason, I thought this was a boutique cookie shop...and expected it to be nicer...cuter props and all. However, the place was just basic...very cut and dry...with no frills whatsoever. Think the only decor (if you can call it that?) is the logo on their wall. Also, the place looked a bit sloppy. Even the white countertop where they delivered the cookies were dirty/stained. Not sure why they didn't bother wiping it down between customers...as the place wasn't that busy. Even the cookie presentation was underwhelming. There were only 6 flavors laid out openly next to a cashier in a near crude way...not even labeled (not sure why they're not showcased better than that?). I heard the flavors change weekly (daily?), so guess that helps. The 6 flavors weren't too exciting...and the presentation was kind of BLAH as well. THE one colorful flavor, the Red Velvet, could have popped if you can actually see the color red...but it was such a dark, muddy red that it looked nearly brown (see pics). As for the cookies, each piece was huge...and chunky. WAY too chunky, if you ask me. I actually prefer lighter, thinner, crisper versions over these thick, super-fatty ones. The worst part? The cookie was underbaked! Though the flavor was good, it was just soggy...and I was like HUH?!? Almost tasted like cupcakes. These were way overpriced for what they were...and how they were so UNDER-baked. Did I think a box with 4 underbaked cookies were worth $13? NO.

I had a very disappointing experience during my recent visit. The service was extremely poor, and it was clear that the two girls working need serious coaching on customer service. They were inattentive, unhelpful, and showed little interest in assisting customers. It's unfortunate, because a little courtesy and professionalism can go a long way. I hope management addresses this issue, as it reflects poorly on the business as a whole. Not to mention the girl who did my cookie made it look like this:(

You're an adult, eat a cookie for dinner Should be the tag line to this amazing bakery. It's dangerous that I live so close to this place but take the good with the bad. The cookies are made of magic and taste amazing every single bite. We love their chocolate chip but like to try any of their new flavors in rotation. Do not pass on them.

I've been to several other Crumbl locations and this one isn't the closest to me, but I was in the area so I decided to stop by for a couple of their weekly flavors. Covid-19: ordering and paying through their app is really easy. You check in on the app when you get there and they bring your order out to your car. I got the Lucky Charms and Key Lime Pie cookies this time. I loved both of them. The marshmallow frosting on the Lucky Charms was really good. I also loved the Key Lime Pie filling. This cookie chain has some consistently good flavors that I think are worth checking out.

Fantastic cookies served warm!! I loved the delicious cookies and the amazing flavors!! I tried the reeses peanut butter flavor. It was rich and nutty and covered in chocolate. The cookies are huge! Definitely about 4 inches diameter. They serve them warm and in wonderful to-go containers. You get to choose the flavors and sell four for $14. Each cookie is huge! The staff was friendly and wearing masks. There was a long line but it moved quickly. They have markers on the floor to keep people 6 ft apart. The parking is busy so I like to park and walk. I would definitely return for another taste!

Chocolate chip and the other one is Muddy Buddy

I came here on opening day and I was pretty impressed at how smooth the transaction was. We got two chocolate chip cookies and one muddy buddy. Once we ordered we waited to the side for our order. It was to go and one thing I wished they did was pack the chocolate chip cookies a little better. They put it in a open side bag. So it was in two bags and one box. I asked for a bag because I was holding my daughter and it would be hard to hold two opened containers of cookies and a box and she said she didn't have any and walked away. Overall, the cookies are good. The chocolate chip cookies are good and large enough for two people. My husband also liked the muddy buddy. Next time I'll order the sugar cookie that's supposed to be chilled.

Crumbl Cookies just opened on Rea Rd. My family and I popped in for the free Chocolate Chip Cookie event. Everyone got a free chocolate chip cookie and we also got the 4 pack. The line was very short and they kept the line moving. There had to be about 15-20 people working. For our 4 pack of cookies we got the Caramel Pumpkin, S'mores, Orange Roll and Chilled Sugar Cookie. I was able to add this purchase to my loyalty account and get more points. I've only sampled the Caramel Pumpkin cookie but it is delicious. Super moist and flavorful. Crumbl Cookies changes their cookie flavors every week so we are loyal customers each week. So glad to have another location to stop in and fulfill our cookie needs Crumbl Cookies 7918 Rea Rd Ste A Charlotte, NC 28277 Friday October 16, 2020 5pm

    Milk Chocolate Chip Cookie

Found out about this little slice of sugar heaven from a friend. They were offered free cookies to customers... who doesn't love free stuff, especially dessert! The yummy smell alone will have your stomach growling. The line was semi-long but moved steadily. The line was expected.due to the free cookie deal ( I will happily wait for cookies). The inside is small. Guest were practically social distancing outside but it was hard to do distance yourself inside due to limited space. There is a display of cookies at the registers to allow to see which cookies are available. They also offer ice cream, milk and water. I chose the milk chocolate chip cookie and chilled sugar cookie. It was hard to only pick two. One cookie is $3.48 b4 tax. After you placed the order the wait about 10 mins before I received my cookies (not a bad wait). Location: In the Target shopping center beside Starbucks. Seating: Seating is not available inside the building.Outside seating is available in the courtyard behind the building. Parking: Parking available in the shared lot with several other businesses. Overall, I loved the cookies. The cookies are a great size, warm and absolutely delicious. I can't wait to visit again.

    Worth it.

This place makes being an adult worth it. Get all the cookies you want. Gorge yourself. Like it's nobodies business. The flavors are on pointe. Beware though , these things are fucking huge. Im talking palm size per cookie. But oh so fucking worth it.

Next, we wanted to love the actual goods of offer - beautiful presentation and a huge variety of do-it-yourself pick and choose tray style self service! Lastly we wanted to love the checkout service - it seemed ready to get people moving along! Most of these things held the weight we wanted and anticipated, short of the location and parking. The goods - we sampled a Yuzu tart (tasted like soap?!) and mango croissant (a bit of soapiness in this one too, oddly) a chocolate explosion croissant (best of what we tried and chocolate was evenly distributed) and one each of the pretzel shaped pastries (ok but nothing exciting and tasted bland). Again- skilled presentation and mastery of baked goods form...these all looked great and tasted...just ok. There were three staff members at the counter and two seemingly were distracted while one gent running the register was taking care of the 5-6 people deep line. Only as the line approached the cafe area and door did the other two staff start taking customers at the other register. There are probably several options here to delight palates if you take the time to sample all the items and perhaps we simply picked poorly during our visit.

They had offered samples of their lemon tart at the event, which stayed on my mind--so I came back and ordered the Lorraine-style quiche. It was rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced by a fresh side salad. I paired it with a café au lait, which was equally well done. The ambiance is effortlessly chic--very much reminiscent of a European café--and it was lively during lunch. It's the kind of place where you can sit, linger, and people-watch... and SouthPark definitely showed up in style. At one point, several guests seated near us were speaking French, which added to the authenticity and overall experience. Service was warm and efficient, even with the crowd. The bakery itself is on the smaller side--you order inside and then head outside to sit and eat. I went on a Sunday, so it was very busy with a long line, but it moved quickly. When seating fills up, the neighboring restaurant allows use of their patio, which is a thoughtful touch. My friend enjoyed her quiche as well, and we both agreed it's a spot worth returning to--whether for a casual lunch, coffee, or a pastry break. I also order a few macarons to go and my family enjoyed them.

Review for Renaissance Patisserie…read more After relocating to Charlotte from San Francisco, one of the first things I searched for was a proper kouign-amann (pronounced queen-ah-mahn). It's a staple where I'm from, and when I discovered that Renaissance Patisserie carried it, I made the drive immediately. I'm happy to say--this place is the real deal. The kouign-amann here reminded me of the ones back in San Francisco. It wasn't quite as buttery or rich as some of the West Coast versions, but it was absolutely enjoyable--and most importantly, I finished every bite. That alone says a lot. Location & setting: Renaissance is tucked into the upscale specialty shops of SouthPark, in a lovely, polished shopping center surrounded by quality retailers like Williams Sonoma and several restaurants. Parking is plentiful and convenient, and once you step out of your car, you're welcomed into a charming outdoor courtyard that feels relaxed and refined. You'll immediately notice the bright yellow awning--it's cheerful and inviting--and inside, the bakery is just as charming. The black-and-white tile floors, small bistro tables, and beautifully arranged pastry case create a classic European feel. It's not a huge space--maybe six or seven tables--but it feels cozy, elegant, and thoughtfully designed. What makes it special: * A stunning pastry case filled with beautifully crafted desserts and laminated pastries * Skilled bakers and decorators--you can tell there's real craftsmanship behind the products * Friendly, efficient service * Apple Pay accepted (always appreciated) * Self-service water and condiments station * Clean, comfortable environment * A lovely outdoor patio that's perfect when the weather cooperates I do wish they occasionally experimented with more creative variations of the kouign-amann--perhaps seasonal fruit or specialty flavors--but even in its classic form, it's consistently a hit. I've brought these pastries to friends and gatherings, and they're always well received. What I appreciate most is that Renaissance delivers on quality and consistency. It may be a newer trend here in Charlotte, but these pastries have been a long-standing favorite in cities like San Francisco, and it's wonderful to see that level of craftsmanship available locally. Bottom line: Beautiful pastries, fair prices, great service, and a polished, welcoming atmosphere. This has become my go-to bakery in Charlotte, and if you appreciate well-made French pastries, you will not be disappointed.

That search led me to Vicente in South End, and I'm happy to say it absolutely earned its spot on my list. The kouign-amann here was slightly lighter and a bit less dense and buttery than the ones I remember from the Bay Area, but it still hit all the right notes--caramelized edges, flaky layers, and just enough indulgence to satisfy the craving. When you find one in Charlotte, you take note. I also ordered a frangipane (marzipan) croissant, which is always one of my go-to pastries when it's done well. This one delivered--rich, nutty, and comforting without being overly sweet. I'm not much of a chocolate pastry person, so I tend to gravitate toward custard- or almond-filled items, and this bakery clearly understands how to execute those classics. The space itself is beautiful--clean glass storefront, modern aesthetic, and a welcoming feel from the moment you walk in. It's attached to a large apartment complex with underground parking, which makes it surprisingly easy to access. Very walkable, very convenient, and refreshingly low-stress compared to some of the trendier spots. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the prices felt reasonable for the quality. One small wish: I'd love to see a late-day pastry special or a loyalty program. I'm the kind of regular who will absolutely show up more often if there's an incentive--and let's be honest, pastries are hard to resist when there's a little nudge. I'll definitely be back, especially if they start experimenting with more creative flavors. A kouign-amann with poached fruit--nectarine, mango, or passionfruit--would have me running back through the door. And candidly, I'm grateful Charlotte's pastry scene is still growing. It means there's room for bakeries like this to shine and keep raising the bar. As someone who loves good food, I'm always rooting for local bakers and artisans to succeed. Bottom line: A beautiful neighborhood bakery with solid execution, friendly service, and a kouign-amann worth the trip. I'll be back--and I'm keeping an eye on that pastry case.

Chez Marie is a bright, charming little patisserie at one corner of Sharon Corners shopping center…read more The blue and white ambiance lends a decidedly French air to the place, with its half-dozen or so tables inside and another four or five outside. The inside was immaculate and beckoning, with a two-sided display of the offerings and a shining espresso machine behind the register. The workers bore welcoming smiles and a a polite, inviting nature. All of that is the reason I give this patisserie three stars instead of two. While some foods are still a mystery to me - barbecue I can just take or leave, mostly leave - I know coffee and I know baked goods. The croissant I sampled was dry, implying unkindly that the flaky pastry dough was either formerly frozen or not fresh, and while croissants aren't exactly the moistest pastry to be found, the idea behind making them is kneading and rolling in a lot of butter, which I truly could not taste. What a disappointment. And somehow, somehow, my latte, albeit freshly prepared before me, was lukewarm when I took my first sip on the way to the car. How is that even possible? At the last minute, I asked for caramel to be added to my drink, but that was imperceptible too. I'd forgotten to ask for it to be half sweet, so I guess that was a blessing in disguise. When you stop by a bakery late in the day you sort of pays your money and takes your chances, but I visited just before noon. No crowds either. Disappointing all around, though again, the ambiance invites lingering. Cute bistro, lovely people, but - and I cannot believe I'm saying this - I'd have done better at the nearby Starbucks if all I wanted to do was get a latte and pastry. As the French would say, domage.
