I was willing to go but wasn't overly excited...until I saw the menu and saw 4 words: Peach. Cobbler. Cinnamon. Roll. Peach Cobbler is absolutely undefeated in my book, so I had to go. I had heard about Beyond Amazing Donuts, but never had the opportunity to try until we stumbled upon them at the Uptown Farmer's Market yesterday. We got the strawberry biscoff donut and cinnamon roll. The strawberry donut did not have a biscoff drizzle as pictured online, so I did not get a strong biscoff flavor with only a couple cookie crumbs on top. However, the strawberry frosting tasted fresh, not that artificial candy flavor, so we really enjoyed that! The star of the show was the texture! It was light and fluffy, amazing! We really loved this donut even if it missed on the biscoff notes. The cinnamon was a standard cinnamon roll to, us. Nothing stood out about it, but still satisfied a cinnamon roll craving. Service was fantastic- loved the welcoming and friendly vibes. I didn't get the name of the person working the market tent today, but she's great! Definitely give BAD a try if you see them around. I was able to enjoy the Brown Butter with Caramel doughnut at a pop up location uptown. The location was convenient and service was fast. It was simply delicious. I heated it about 10 seconds before completely devouring it. My plan was to eat half and save the other, but that didn't happen. It was light with the right amount of sweetness. I've been following Jasmine since before the pandemic I believe but I absolutely love her donuts and bread puddings. I remember stalking her IG page to see where she was popping up around the city. We love BAD and would definitely go back. There is plenty of parking and tables/seats inside. They have lots of donut options including some very unique ones!! They are huge and thick- lots of dough! They were really good! They also have iced coffee, water bottles, and hot coffee from Enderly. The workers were so nice! This is our favorite donut shop in Charlotte! I love the high quality ingredients and preparation as well as the unique and inventive flavors. The black garlic everything is slightly savory (but not as much as you might expect!) and absolutely worth a try. Other stand-outs have been the brown butter sorghum and (seasonal) Arnold Palmer. But surprisingly, my all-time fave isn't a donut at all - it's their epic cinnamon roll! Chock full of cinnamon filling, with perfect dough, topped with tangy cream cheese icing, this is the cinnamon roll dreams are made of. Wow this place is good. This is a place where you have to make your way through the menu. Today was raspberry sprinkle and blueberry fritter. Stopped by here while visiting town as we wanted some donuts but wanted to try a local spot and were blown away. The shop is pretty tucked away in a shopping center with a coffee shop vibe to it. From the flavors, awesome staff, and just the overall donut "swagger", these donuts live up to their name. I think I stumbled upon the donuts in my Instagram reels and found out that a brick and mortar shop was opening soon. Luckily its located near me and I've been a lot... great for the flavors, bad for my waistline :). The shop is tucked away in a small business center that shares a lot with a uniform shop, Luisa's, and One Blood. Parking is never an issue and you have different escape routes on Abbey and on Montford (eventually Woodlawn/Runnymede). There is a lot of care and love that goes into these donuts from the flavor combinations to the actual donut process itself. Occasionally, some batches don't turn out the way that they are expected so please keep an eye on socials to get the latest news regarding donuts and experimental/seasonal flavors. I'm so so so happy that a minor mishap lead me to Beyond Amazing Donuts! I've tried these donuts when they were in Camp North End doing weekend Popups and loved it. So I couldn't wait to try more donuts! This go round I got half a dozen and a delicious cold vanilla latte. This latte was fantastic too Omg!!!! So so good. Now the donuts were all freakin amazing!!! These donuts are truly beyond amazing! Each donut held up to its identity in both flavor and texture. They were all super yummy and kept us going back for more. My favorite was the Vanilla glaze, idk what biting into a cloud is like but that's what it felt like biting into my donut, not overly sweet and absolutely delightful. I always pass on donuts because often times they are just absolutely too sweet. When we walked in we were greeted immediately, they had a few tables that you could sit at if you wanted to eat in, and the wall featured some really cool nostalgic characters such as Garfield, Luigi, sailor moon etc. Which my son really enjoyed! The gentleman that helped me was very nice and was so helpful in giving me some suggestions. I decided to try all the donut flavors because I've seen such great reviews for just about all of them! They also had some really tasty looking cinnamon rolls which I overhead another customer say are the best, so next time I return I'm going to try the cinnamon roll, I also see that they have a bread pudding now, so I def want to try that as well. As I have noted in my other reviews, I'm not necessarily a sweets fan. Donuts are an exception but even then the super sweet ones are a turnoff. (Looking at you, glazed donuts.) I talked myself into going to Beyond Amazing Donuts this morning because I saw another review and was intrigued by the savory black garlic donut. Which they didn't have today. :( I want to start by complimenting Kris and Marcus, who were working the front and so exquisitely engaging and pleasant and enough to want me coming back. They're so great, quite knowledgeable about the product and ready with suggestions. But yeah, you wanna know about the food. I am a simple girl. The old fashioned was my favorite because it was the least sweet and a cake donut. But let's be real: ALL the donuts, yeast or cake, were made from delicious dough, and I preferred the flavors that allowed me to really taste the donut itself. The raspberry sprinkles yeast donut was light and fluffy and YES REAL RASPBERRIES could be tasted, a welcome hint of tartness to balance the rest of the flavors. Speaking of... The bee sting was my least favorite by no fault of the shop: custard went unnoticed when I was selecting and I truly dislike custard unless it's frozen or it's crème brûlée. The maple old fashioned was really nice but I would have LOVED some bacon on it. Somewhere in the middle was the sweet potato roll, because it was a little too...TOO.Very rich and dense in flavor. If you like sweet potatoes, though..highly recommended. That was actually the thing I liked best about the donuts, the obvious quality of ingredients. So often "artisan donuts" are like the breakfast version of many modern cupcakes, a little pastry and so much other stuff that, for all you know, you could be eating a chocolate-injected sponge with three inches of frosting. Beyond Amazing Donuts is all about balance and quality. And honestly? The prices are pretty darned reasonable. I've stopped into B.A.D. twice now and would have to rate the donuts as inconsistent but just okay overall. My first donut was a glazed old fashioned a few weeks ago, which I would recommend and thought was a great cake donut. I stopped in again today with my wife and ordered the same along with a yeast-raised chocolate sprinkle. This old fashioned was inferior to the first and tasted very oily. You could see the oil line on the bottom half inside the donut, and I think the fryer may have been overcrowded and/or too low of a temp. We did not enjoy the yeast-raised chocolate sprinkle and thought the chocolate frosting tasted very artificial. The service is excellent and super friendly, but I probably won't make a third stop, unfortunately. The prices are way too high to justify a decent-at-best donut. read more

The young lady who helped us she was nice and informative on helping us picking the right doughnuts for our taste. A friend and I decided to stop by after church because we've heard good things about this place. Knowing that it was later in the day, I was prepared that there would likely be some options that would not be available when I arrived. We were greeted when we walked in which was great. There are some cute seating areas available which also is a nice touch. As expected, they were out of a couple options I wanted to try, so I decided to go with the cinnamon sugar donut and my friend got the vanilla glaze one. The donuts were light and airy which I loved. The only downside was that I didn't think the dough itself was flavorful and could stand alone. I probably wouldn't get the cinnamon sugar donut again because of this, but the vanilla glaze donut was good! I would try this place again to check out some of their other options. read more

Doughnut Texture: light, airy, and soft on the inside. All selections were delicious. The doughnuts with cream centers were like an explosion of fluffy, creamy yumminess in your mouth but just a bit too sweet for me. If you are a cream filled doughnut person then you will probably enjoy that style. My favorite flavor was the brown butter w/ caramel. Really solid donuts! They are brioche but not dense and bready, they're nice and fluffy and soft. I got the peaches and herb, brown butter, vanilla, and raspberry sprinkle. The raspberry sprinkle was my favorite - not too sweet but an AMAZING combo of flavors with the raspberry and lemon zest. The peaches and herb was actually my least favorite of the donuts, even though that's the one I specifically wanted to try here. Really solid donuts here.
