    Chocolate peanut butter pie cookie

Obviously I had heard about Crumbl and seen the cookies on social media before it even made its way to the Pittsburgh area. It had been open for a while before I tried it and I heard mixed reviews. Upon entering the store they have examples of all the cookies to look at if you need help deciding. The flavors rotate weekly and they announce them on their social media. One time we went there was a fairly long wait, the other there was no one there and very little wait. Both times no one greeted us even to just yell up hello or ask if we needed help. They have kiosks available to order from but some might not want to order from the kiosk or may have a question. An employee did come to the front for one customer but after she was there for several minutes. I ordered from the kiosk both times. They simply shout your name when your order is up. The cookies are a bit pricey (over $5) for a single cookie. However the cookies are large and heavy. They definitely can be shared, which is nice. It seems different flavors get very mixed reviews. The first cookie we tried was a guava cookie. The cookie itself was plain tasting and a little dry. The guava was in the frosting but there was so little of it you couldn't taste the guava very much or in some bites not at all. The second time we went we got the chocolate peanut butter pie one. This had more of a cookie "crust" with filling and toppings. This one was really good, however definitely sweet for my taste. A sprinkle of sea salt could go a long way. It seems in general their cookies are very sweet, which some people like but some people don't. Overall I think I would be very choosy about what is worth going to get at Crumbl. Some flavors just may not be worth it. I do think the employees at least yelling a hello would be a nice touch however.

Good spot for a Hellaisious treat. Full of bad stuff for the diet but a tasty "cheat treat" as long as you walk in with a wallet in need of lightening.

Wow- amazing. I understand the hype. I got the "snickerdoodle cupcake" cookie which was a snickerdoodle (obviously lol) with icing similar to a cinnamon roll and then topped with cinnamon. It was served warm & amazing. I paired it with Turners chocolate milk. My husband couldn't decide but eventually got the orange creamsicle. It was served cold but like very cold. He didn't have the same "wow factor" reaction I did and I asked what's wrong. He said the cookie was too cold/hard. I get it- it is suppose to resemble an ice cream bar. He tried mine and loved it. Later on that evening after his cookie was normal temp he loved it and gave it a 4 out of 10. We loved this place. Great place to go on a date or with a group of friends. Don't experience this deliciousness alone. Great cookies. Great marketing technique (only 6 cookies at a time and rotating weekly). Keeps the customer on their toes and keeps the customer checking their website / social media often. Also, for example, I loved the snickerdoodle but it won't be there next week. I'll def be back when it's back- genius marketing I'll be back before then - lol- just giving an example

I finally tried Crumbl cookies after hearing about all of the hype... and even though these cookies are expensive... they are worth it! I went in the afternoon (around lunch time) and the store was a little busy, but my wait wasn't long at all. You order your cookies on a touch screen computer and then they call your order when it's ready. I believe they rotate their flavors weekly. The cookies are a good size. We cut ours into fourths so we could different flavors. Overall I had a great experience and I will return to Crumbl again!

So where do I began?!? Cookie me please! I attended their grand opening and grabbed a few cookies for the family. I've been to the one in Irwin before, so it's nice having one closer to home. The flavors this week including Pink Velvet, Lemon, Mama's recipe, and Hazelnut. They also have ice cream and milk available for purchase. Cookies are about $4 a pop, so choose wisely. When we arrived there was a greeter at the door and the staff shouted "Welcome to Crumbl" every so often, to welcome new guests entering the store. Just like other locations, they have a self-ordering station and cashiers to assist with the order. They change out their cookies every week, so be sure to check out the flavor being featured (via online, app, social media) during the week of your visit. They also have to cookies on display on the front counter. The staff was working hard and there were plenty of cookie makers moving the line out fast. There was a line outside the door, but we were in and out in less than 10 minutes! Whoot Whoot! Now flavors... Our favorite this week was the PINK VELVET! The flavor was not overpowering and the icing was sweet and delicious, but I'll admit the icing was a little too heavy for the cookie. The cookie broke upon picking it up, but please believe nothing went to waste, lol. Overall, this was a great visit! The staff was friendly and quick, and the cookies are amazing!

These cookies are pretty awesome and addictive! The service is very convenient, easily accessible and friendly. The hours of operation are very convenient and curbside is available. All of this makes it impossible to avoid getting cookies every week. If you're trying to cut back on snacks or sweets, then this is not the place for you. After trying one cookie, I am hooked and look forward to the weekly updates. Crumbl keeps me interested based on the frequent rotation of fun and original cookies. However, the price is moderately high, but you get what you pay for because one cookie is enough to feed 4. All the butter type cookies with white icing are so good.

Not impressed with this place at all. The prices are outrageous for what you get. Definitely won't be back.

I first heard of this business when I was at the Oakmont Farmers Market. This business had set up a tent and tables to showcase their baked goods. The owners gave me a free sample of a few desserts, and I liked all of the samples. My husband loves lady locks, and I saw that this business offers them, so I bought a box of them for $12. I also bought a box of shortbread cookies for $5. I thought that the lady locks were small and short, but they tasted good. I also liked the flavors of the shortbread. If I ever see this business again, I will definitely consider trying more of their baked goods.

I can see why they were nearly sold out of the cherry cake. (I snagged one of the last three!) This is a wonderful small business in the Pittsburgh area, and you can tell that their owner, Amy, puts a lot of thought into her business from branding, packaging, tastiness, and quality. Plus Amy is incredibly friendly. Great service all around! I look forward to seeing Begonia House at future festivals and markets in the Pittsburgh area!
