The cookies are always amazing. We look forward to all of the new flavors every week and have been to 8/9 different locations. This is the last time we will visit Upland. My son has a Tree Nut allergy, so we have to always be careful with our order and packaging. After ordering a six pack for the family to share I informed the young lady taking our order that we had a Tree Nut allergy and needed half of the cookies in separate packaging. Her response was we had to pay an additional fifty cents. It was very off putting, this is the first time in 25/30 orders that we have ran into this. I get the charge if someone just wants different packaging, but this is a case of an allergic reaction that could kill someone. Very petty read more

I wanted to love this place as much as I love chocolate chip cookies, and because of all the hype, sadly I wasn't impressed. My cookies were grossly undercooked. My daughter picked on hers and ultimately finished it day 2 because hers was not AS undercooked as mine. I had to throw the chocolate chip in the trash after eating a small triangle because I felt like I was going to get sick if I finished it. The cookies are good but the space is small, parking is somewhat limited and service is slow. They change their cookie menu every week and this week I picked up 4 key lime pie cookies and 2 snickers cookies. If the key lime pie comes back, I'm definitely coming back. My first time trying Crumbl cookies in Brea was not that great, but now that I know they change their menu weekly I follow their Instragram to see if others have tried it and what they think about it. I ordered cookies using the app and selected curbside pick-up but the parking spots out front were full. Also, this parking lot is dangerous, especially around 6 or 7 p.m. on Friday night when everyone's buying cookies. I decided to go in the store to pick-up my cookies but I still had to wait another 10 minutes. There were at least 10 people outside the store waiting for their orders and most of them ordered in-store. I've seen this at the Brea store where there's like an army of people making cookies but 2 people distributing orders. It never makes sense to me, especially since they seem to be stocked on cookies but not on putting together the orders. I honestly don't think you save time by using the app at this location. I have gone to the store in Orange, which I think is less popular because there's never a line there and there's plenty of parking and my cookies are always ready and delivered to my car in about 5 minutes or less. The nearest location before or after this one is in Glendora, so this one is probably always going to be busy. read more

Great cookies, inexperienced leadership. Went tonight for Reece's cookie and was told they were sold out- but then we hear a girl calling, "I got hot peanut butter!" and see 4 full trays of peanut butter cookies. We ask the girl at register for Reece's since we see the trays. She goes back to ask her manager, Christina, if she can sell them to us. Christina says no because they can't keep up with their current orders. We say we would wait and the Reece's are sold to us. While waiting we began to watch Christina. She's throwing boxes around and snapping at her coworkers. The environment was uncomfortable. When my Reece's cookie was ready, Christina did not even call my name- just threw the box on the counter in front of me. All of this attitude for ordering a popular cookie flavor? I sent my son in to Crumbl to complete his first order by himself and the employees literally let him stand there for 6 minutes being the only person in line and didn't say anything to him. They looked at him multiple times. I had to go in and ask what was going on and ask the employee why they didn't say anything to him. He said we only help with phone orders. The cookies are really good and I love the model of changing up the selection every week. The main issue is the lack of availability from night to night. After 7 pm it's pretty rare you'll find all options available. Sometimes it will be extremely limited. This past Friday, for instance, three out of their six options were "sold out" and they were still scheduled to be open for another two hours. There needs to be a better system in place to prevent this from happening on such a consistent basis. read more

Cookies are decently sized, they are indeed "fresh" though you'll notice that they still appear raw inside (very mushy/wet) - which was a turn off. On top of that, despite our pickup time (curbside) we waited 30 minutes beyond the promised time because "they were so busy, with only two dressers". It is my understanding they're popular, so perhaps they should consider hiring additional employees to help with the work load. Based on my experience, it's 3 stars, possibly even 2. If you're a fan of huge cookies with gratuitous toppings then yes, this is the place for you! The texture of most of the cookies are soft and fudge-y, that slightly underbaked style. The toppings are sweet. And I mean /sweet/. I am not a fan of cloyingly sweet treats that would take me over a week to finish slice-by-slice and aside from the novelty of it all, I don't find the flavors exceptionally well-done. They are a little costly but obviously don't deter us from getting them every week. My only critique is that every week they have a cookie with a chocolate based dough like the one in the lower left of our picture. They are good but normally get the lowest rating. Got them as a birthday gift for my uncle. He & my aunt absolutely loved them! Only 2 areas of improvement...the first was the gift note. It was printed on the label on the side of the box so they didn't notice it & were wondering who sent the cookies. The app doesn't state that it's not an actual gift note places in the box. And second was the delivery. It's done with DoorDash & the driver left this amazing box of cookies on the patio floor (nevermind the table he walked right past), didn't ring the doorbell or anything.
