Surprised this store only has a three! I had a five star experience! Stopped by to pick up some cookies to surprise my niece. This store was packed but they had my order ready in no time. You can order at the register or kiosk. I opted for the kiosk cause this isn't my first rodeo. The vibe inside is simple, and people are busy making cookies! I ordered the pink sugar, a strawberry cake slice (Valentine's day special), a brownie cookie, and a white cookie with funfetti. They were decorated beautifully and all tasted delicious! I love Crumbl and it's truly become part of my personality to bring Crumbl cookies to any gathering. I really dont think you can go wrong with these- there's always something for everyone. I will say that I didn't think things through super well and ordered a cookie on Valentine's Day to give as a gift. Everyone else in west county seemed to have the same idea, so the crew was hustling hard! I had put in my order online and ran into grab it and I really think nobody stopped moving the entire time I was there. My sweet tooth has been out of control, and I think I've been eating these cookies on average once a week... not my strongest moments I will admit. All the times I've been to this location, everything has been very smooth. I order at the kiosk or directly at the counter, and the cookies are ready to go in maybe 5-10 minutes, depending on how busy they are. There are so many workers in there, and everything seems to run efficiently. The cookies also come out warm, which I appreciate. I like how there are new flavors every week, so I have an excuse to go weekly. I will say these cookies are pretty heavy, and some can be overly sweet. Some flavors are better than others, but all in all these cookies are good. My new all-time favorite has to be the strawberry milk cookie - it tastes exactly like that strawberry shortcake ice cream from my childhood. I almost bought a dozen to freeze. I really enjoy a good cookie so I only come here maybe twice a year. The cookies are extremely pricey although they are delicious. I wish that there was a cookie program so you can get discounts without spending $100 just to get one cookie free. The banana one was pretty good I got it because it was minion week and I really like bananas. The menu changes every week so every Monday you need to check to see what the flavors are. First off I am going to address all the whinny babies who are complaining that they were sold out of the cookie they wanted. Did you see how busy they were in the kitchen baking, those kids were hustling trying to get all flavors out there for you to enjoy. Also, were you there at closing? If so, that could be why your favorite cookie was not available. Hate to break it to, but in real life you don't always get what you want. That being said, I will say the customer service was what impressed me the most at this cookie store. I enjoyed watching the staff hustle baking all the cookies fresh right before our eyes. Also, the young lady taking orders was friendly, polite and was extremely professional. I was also impressed how when my order was ready, the associate who brought me my cookies opened the box and showed me my selection and made sure I was pleased with my order. Top notch service. They all seemed to take pride in their work. Our cookie selections were; Milk Chocolate Chip for me and Boston Cream Pie for my friend who was celebrating her birthday. My friend loved the filling/center of her cookie. My cookie was flavorful, I enjoyed that the edges were crisp. I prefer my cookies to have a crunch. As I bit further into my cookie, it had a softer texture to it, more like a cake. It was a good soft cookie, I'd enjoy one again, but I do prefer a crunchy one. Sooo this is one of those places that I did my homework and took others advice and came during non peek shopping hours (Saturday). I was blown away! The customer service was quick and attentive and the cookies were FIRE! I now understand the pricing. Don't think of this place as a standard "Mrs Hot - Sonomia" run of the mill cookie shop, rather think of it as you are going to get a dessert! Like a piece or slice of something. That's how big and decandant the cookies are. YUUUUGE, I'm talking BIG! Worth every Nickle! The Key lime was FANTASTIC (served chilled) the "crust" was chewy and slightly sweet, they totally were on track to that delicious crust on a slice of key lime pie. As was the Chocolate chip cookie (served warm), reminiscent of a deep dish cookie dessert!! This was not my first time having Crumbl cookies but my first time visiting Crumbl. I was surprised to learn this location is individually owned before arriving but it shows. I was welcomed by multiple employees as I entered. The store was noticeably clean, like, spick and span clean. The line ahead of me ran smoothly. The employee confirmed my order on screen, signed me up for loyalty points and easily talked me into investing in my own cookie cutter (very glad I did). I loved that they have each available cookie made up right on the counter making it conveniently easy to order. Another employee freshly made up the cookies with icing and toppings, this also surprised me. She then showed them to me to approve that everything looked correct (they were absolute perfection). I was out the door quicker than I realized. Over all I'm very happy I finally visited in person. Admittedly, my prior expectation was that of a chain establishment with fast food like hospitality. Last week on April 18th, I ordered two tres leches strawberry cookie/cakes from the store on Manchester road. The staff only gave the Dasher one of the two items that I ordered. Sidenote: the one item that they did bring was handed to me and was not in a bag-- it was just a small pink box. I called the store and reported the situation, and someone pulled up my order and that person did admit that the wrong amount of product was sent out and I was offered a credit, which I was fine with and accepted. However, later that evening, a lady who identified herself as a manager showed up to my door with the missing portion of my order and many apologies for the store staff getting the order wrong. Fast forward to today, April 25th, I ordered from Crumbl through Doordash again from the location on Manchester. Again, a driver shows up with only a portion of my order. I ordered two raspberry cheesecake cookies and one carrot cake cookie. I was presented with two pink boxes. I asked the driver why he only had two boxes when I ordered three items and he said that's what was handed to him and when I asked where was the bag, he told me that they tend to hand out orders without a bag, and he also said it could be possible that they put two of the similar cookies and one box and the different variety cookie in a separate box which is why there was only two boxes. That was his theory, but he wasn't sure. Upon opening both boxes. I saw only two cookies. Keep in mind that in the beginning of this story, I mentioned how the previous week when I received only a portion of my order, it did not come in a bag. I called the store and spoke to someone else by the name of Rachel, who identified herself as a manager. I explained the situation including the previous week's events and I asked what is going on. At the top of the conversation she noted that many times they don't use bags because they run low often, so if there are only 1-3 three cookies in an order, they may not use a bag. Then she said that my cookies were placed in a bag (after I heard her muffle the phone and ask someone in the background if my cookies were placed in a bag). So as a manager, she didn't know personally; rather, she was going off of third party info from young teens who don't want to get in trouble for messing up-- of course they're going to say they put the correct amount of items in a bag. But the thing is, no bag was given. I reiterated this to Rachel. She then stated that the Doordash driver stole my cookie and kept the bag in the car and only took out the cookies that he wanted me to have. Highly unacceptable behavior!!!! This store messed up my order last week and someone from the store personally delivered it to my home but this week, because Rachel lacks accountability, she's now compromising the livelihood of a fellow hard-working American by accusing him of petty theft of a freaking cookie with no proof of her allegations. At this point, screw the cookie. Now it's about principle. Rachel had mentioned to me that she personally trained everyone in her store, but if that's the case, my recommendation would be to step down from training. You're supposed to be in a leadership position and the way you lead is by passing the buck instead of taking ownership for mistakes that happen in your store??? Accusing people of stealing with no proof of such actions when your store is known for making errors??? I will never do business with this company again. If the way Rachel handled herself reflects the culture of Crumbl Cookies, I wouldn't be surprised if they're not around much longer. I was never offered compensation, a credit or even an apology, because her claim is that the driver stole it. It's like the equivalent of a kid saying the dog ate my homework. Seriously, grow up already! This is the worst customer experience I have ever had with any establishment. Crumbl-- it's time to go back to the drawing board. Smh. read more
