On this occasion, I was able to get street parking. Last time I blew by the strip mall on accident, however there is plenty of parking in the strip mall. In addition to fresh cookies they have premade dough that you can make at home later. Grabbed some dough of Triple Chocolate Cookies to bake for later about two weeks ago. I believe the cost was like $10 (which is less than $2 a cookie). Ingredients and preservation of dough was premium. I choose to freeze my dough and make on a movie night. Cookies came in good handy on New Year's Eve. We made these cookies after dinner. I set them on parchment paper while the oven heated up. Cookies took about 18 min to bake in my oven. Very easy and simple. Instructions, nutritional information on the container. Review of cookie: so soft, quality melting chocolate, and satisfying sweet taste. I only ate one cookie and was totally content. My triple Chocolate cookie went well with red wine. The next morning had another cookie with coffee. Yum yum!!! Will be back. On previous visit for Yelp event, I had the hot chocolate. Wowza do I want more of that. This place isn't too far from my gym. Will grab Hot Chocolate after a good lifting day soon. If I would have been a little more rested, I would have asked more questions pertaining to the business or kept more of a conversation going. I will leave that for another visit, preferably a visit in the afternoon rather than morning. As for the cookies, I enjoyed every bite of the double chocolate chip cookie! The oatmeal blueberry cookie hands down is the best oatmeal cookie I have ever had. Its buttery taste gave my taste buds something to yearn for. I've been eating these cookies for three days now because of how huge they are and the softness and flavor has held up perfectly despite me not storing them any special way! The chocolate chunk was my favorite! Adding a proper amount of salt to baked goods is often not utilized enough, but you could actually taste the salt in these cookies and it cut through the richness to add more depth! The sugar cookie was my second favorite, I feel like having a good simple cookie tells a lot about how solid the base dough is. If you love fresh soft cookies, I would keep walking past Insomniac 5 minutes away and come here instead!

The cookies are always super fresh (I'm obsessed with the Chocolate Chunk, CloudyNoir, and Basic Bish), the storefront is really cute, and the owner is always so sweet and welcoming. I ordered some delivered last night, and not only were they still perfectly fresh, but the shop even threw in a few extras I hadn't tried before. I found my way to Sweet Shot Cookies' website and decided to get the OG 6 Pack Triple, which included double chocolate chip, s'mores, chocolate peanut butter + nutella, cinnamon sugar, PB&J, and funfetti. Not going to lie, the cookies I ordered were overall misses for me. As soon as the delivery arrived I had the s'mores and cinnamon sugar cookie straight out of the box. I did appreciate the packaging. The cookies were sealed securely, and none of them were broken. They tasted good, but I thought they were average at best. I was disappointed by how dense and hard they were, and the filling had seeped out of the s'mores. It was such a mess. I gave Sweet Shot Cookies the benefit of the doubt though. I assumed this happened during transit, plus it probably didn't help that it has been in the late 90s where I'm from in California. I really loved the stuffed cookies concept, and I had no doubt that Sweet Shot Cookies were better in-person when they're fresh. After my initial response, Hallie (the founder) reached out to me and offered to rectify my experience by reimbursing me AND sending me a fresh batch. I was really surprised by such kindness. I was so humbled that she went out of her way to do that, but most importantly I appreciated that she asked me questions to troubleshoot how to prevent similar issues from happening in the future. Not only was she so communicative and transparent, I felt that she was really trying to understand the situation rather than slap a band-aid on it. This spoke volumes to me of excellence in customer service. I was given the second chance to try out Sweet Shot Cookies, and I got to say that the first batch was a fluke, y'all. Sweet Shot Cookies are definitely the real deal! I sampled several of the cookies as soon as the package arrived in order to try them while fresh as possible. The s'mores cookie had redeemed itself! It was in perfect condition. The marshmallow filling was intact, and the cookie itself was ooey and gooey. I absolutely loved it, and I could easily put it in my top 5 of best s'mores cookies. Let me preface in saying that I don't particularly care much for funfetti/ sugar cookie with sprinkles. With that said, I didn't bother eating the butter sprinkle funfetti from the first order. I realized, however, that I did myself a disservice by not trying it. The butter sprinkle funfetti was actually my most favorite cookie of them all. It was so soft and buttery, and the iced filling was literally and figuratively icing on the cake. I felt like it was my birthday again. I also had the pleasure of trying the chocolate PB nutella, cinnamon cookie butter, sugar PB&J and triple chocolate. These cookies were equally as fantastic.
