This place was the absolutely adorable!! I ordered the strawberry mochi and the ube mochi doughnut. The only thing that would make them better is if they were hot! They were cooked well the flavor is there I just like warm/hot doughnuts. I also tried my friends mango oolong tea with popping boba. Delicious ! You don't have to interact with staff much because you order on the computer.
Are you guys ready for this review?? So my partner decided we are going to china town for lunch with his mom and sister. Family day in the city, DURING A SNOWSTORM!! We arrive, place is closed, will open in 10 mins. Perfect, we go to a near by shop and I spot some demon hunter Stanley cups!! I get them of course! We head to lunch, everything is great! As we are heading out, my partners sister spots Te'amo! I ask if she's ever had mochi donuts. She hasn't, so of course we must stop in because everyone needs to try them at least once!!! We order at the kiask and patiently wait for our order. We get our order and leave....leaving the bag with the Stanley's behind!!! We don't realize this until we are home (45 mins away)! I immediately call, no answer, call again, no answer. I decide to DM their instagram page and guess what??? THEY HAD THE CUPS!!! Here I was thinking $150 in cups were gone. But they had them!!! A miracle!! 10/10 stars!! Anyway! I highly recommend the brûlée ube milk tea and the ube mochi donuts!!
The Ube Donut was sooo delicious I don't think I've even a donut so fast that I forgot to take a photo of it. Ube Coffee Delgona topped with Brule and milk foam is also so delicious if you ask for it's only 25% less sweet - there's an option and I went with that. Service was good- it was only one person but overall it was good service
We stopped in for boba while we were in Chinatown to get out of the rain, and honestly the space is adorable. The pastel aesthetic is very Instagram-friendly, and they have a ton of branded merch if that's your kinda thing. Ordering was fast since everything's done through self-service kiosks, and it wasn't very crowded when we went. Service felt slower than other Te'amo locations I've visited, and there were a few dirty tables and full trash cans sitting around, which wasn't great. That said, our drinks were well made and tasted exactly how they should. I'm a big fan of the brand overall, so I'm guessing this was just an off day. I'd still come back and give this location another try.
This place was soooo cute! Stopped by after my nail appointment in chinatown. It did say it was open at 11am but didn't open until 11:30am - just a heads up in case you look at Google hours. Upon walking in you see the vibrant and girly colors & decor. Cute & comfy tables with different LED's. I ordered at a kiosk, but I wanted to order at a register because I had InKind with a discount but no one came to greet me. That's why I took the star away - no real customer service interaction but I'm not sure if that's the goal? The latte itself was good - the strawberry was a great addition!
Nice staff, tasty drinks - boba had a good consistency, not hard or mushy. Craving satisfied! They also have a few other desserts available like mochi donuts, cakes and coconut panna cotta.
There was only one drink I tried but off the bat it was absolutely delicious!! I loved this place and the options they had.
Got a really delicious Thai iced tea with boba here. The pearls are perfectly squishy and the tea had really good flavor. Sad the mochi donuts aren't gluten free but they did have GF cheesecake, just not my preference
Had Te'amo Boba Bar while waiting for our table for dinner with family. I ordered the white mustache green tea and my boyfriend got the Okinawa milk tea. We both got boba with our drinks. The downside to our visit was their system was down and only accepting cash at the moment. It luckily wasn't an issue as our cousin had cash with him. The packaging is a cool concept with it being a sealed lid. The only downside is it can easily be spilled since it's just a big hole once it's opened. The white mustache green tea had a good balance of creaminess and fresh notes. The Okinawa milk tea wasn't bad itself either. It was nice roasted flavor! The boba was also the perfect texture. Overall, it's a good boba place. There's a lot of options to pick from and you'll find something to your liking.
Nice and clean place in Chicago's Chinatown. There are 2 kiosks from which to order. It was pretty user-friendly. We ordered two drinks with boba and one without. The drinks come in some tall plastic cans that open like soda cans. Everything tasted just right. Sweetness was perfect. Bobas were soft, chewy, and flavorful. We were happy with all of the items. The girl who helped us was efficient. There were barely any interactions with the staff, but the few we had were short and cordial.
Had their Dalgona Matcha w/ Boba and an White Moustache Ube Milk Drink and both were very tasty and came in cool cans. Definitely one of the cooler designs for a boba cup I have seen. The Matcha Boba was very creamy and had a nice matcha flavor with nice and chewy boba. A little bit too hard though, but can look past that. The Ube was rich and creamy, the cheese foam at the top was nice and blended well with the ube that was sweet and had a strong ube flavor. The vibe inside was also nice. They also play K-Pop on their speakers and one of the songs was by GFriend which is a plus.
This place is great! Best boba we had in Chinatown and it comes in a convenient container! We also purchased a few snacks. All of them were delicious. The staff at the counter were friendly and they have a nice little waiting area for you to chill out and wait or enjoy your snacks!
Very cute and unique boba shop that offers sealed aluminum containers for your drinks instead of plastic ones. Straightforward ordering process on the self kiosk then watch your drinks being made and sealed in front of your eyes. I ordered the mochi donuts which were so tasty without being overly sweet. Appreciate the selection of yogurt and cakes in the refrigerated case. Highly recommend this boba shop!
First time here and super cute!! Been eyeing this place. Happy to see multiple locations! The ube creme brulee is to die for! Ice never wanted another drink so fast. I was so sad when it was gone. We stopped in whilst visiting Chinatown. We have one in our town and like to visit it on occasion. We ordered 5 drinks on the kiosk and found a place to sit in the back corner. A cute spot in Chinatown where I enjoyed watching them use a can sealer machine to prepare the boba. The strawberry milk boba was delightful! While the place could be tidier, I definitely recommend stopping by for a boba if you're in the area. read more

This small but pretty location offers a variety of colorful boba beverages (ready for your Instagram!) as well as some desserts. They were out of ramune soft serve so my boyfriend got strawberry: it was super creamy and light. I got a strawberry shortcake which was ok but the cream was slightly odd and also had unexpected jellies mixed in which I definitely didn't need. The one complaint was noise. The space is small and for a good amount of the time we were here a group of about six 20somethings were here talking loudly under a slanting part of the ceiling so it just magnified the sound. Tone it down! Overall, this was ok but I would likely try someplace else for dessert the next time I am in Chinatown. read more

I was really impressed with their rose tea latte. I think a lot of places skimp out on the rose flavor and you can't really taste it, but this one was really great. They also adjust sweetness well. I requested 50% sweetness and they did it perfectly to my taste -- barely sweet at all. So if you like your tea on the sweeter side don't be afraid to go for 100%! If you don't like it sweet, don't worry, they'll make it well if you adjust the sweetness. I really only took off a star because it's a bit pricey and the milk tea options are very limited -- seems like their specialty is really shakes, lemonades and desserts, which sort of threw me off since it's marketed as a boba bar. read more

I never think I will buy their dessert in Chinatown in their so few location around Downtown. My mom stopped by since she wanted the coconut pudding so bad, the location near millennium park sold out the other day since it was less than an hour before they closed. She the the coconut pudding was smoother than the location at Navy Pier. read more

Unique refreshing drinks for a stroll on a warm day. I got the mango lemonade which was pretty good. A bit on the sweet side but once watered down by the ice it was good. I would say this place has good bubble tea choices for an Americanized bbt experience. You place your order on a kiosk and your drink comes in around 10 minutes. Super Cute find in the Chinatown Center in Chicago! We saw that they had a good variety besides just drinks so we had to give it a try! You order on the kiosks if you plan to use card, but pay up front if cash. We were intrigued by the cheesecake baos. I will say its a little more on the pricey end, ($11 for 2 baos) but they're relatively big. But man they were delicious! Nice and warm and gooey! The taste wasn't overwhelmingly sweet. Came in for my birthday because my husband and I love mochi donuts! Today, we went with a mango mochi donut. It was delicious and soft! Seasonal mochi donut included the Blueberry Cheesecake. YUM! This place and the cups they serve the drinks in are so cute. It's kind of self service; you walk up to a screen and order your drink and they'll call your order number when it's ready. The space is small and popular, so it can feel a little cramped, but that's generally the case for all the restaurants in this strip of Chinatown. I'm a big fan of banana and strawberry milk and absolutely enjoyed the two. I would definitely recommend trying this place out. If I lived in chicago, I would be here ALL THE TIME and try out everything they have read more

Located inside a mini mall (The Shops at North Bridge), there is a food court upstairs. Was thirsty so wanted something small. Didn't know it was a milk tea chain. We ordered on the machine and got the Mango Lemonade $7. It came in a soda can container. The drink was pretty refreshing with an additional carbonation along with it. Very interesting. Ordered the Mango Smoothie with mango jelly, Banana Milk Drink with strawberry jelly, Japanese Strawberry Yogurt Cake and a Mango Lava Mousse Cake. Both drinks were really good, but I definitely enjoyed the mango smoothie more. Really liked the Japanese strawberry yogurt cake, but only get it if you're a fan of yogurt. The cake is moist, yogurt isn't overpowering and the strawberries complimented it well. Finished the mango lava mousse cake in minutes - it was light, not overly sweet and incredibly delicious! read more
