So glad to finally have more healthy options nearby. The food is on the pricey side but it has the quality to match! The portion sizes are large enough for 2 servings for the average person. The smoothies are actually healthy, unlike the other places you go where they are an absurd number of calories. I will definitely be a regular from now on! Staff is also super friendly and helpful since it was my first time! Shout out to Lee at the register! He provided excellent service and was very patient with us! Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere:

Spicy Chicken with rice, broccoli, sweet potatoes, black beans, and tomato cucumber. Caesar dressing.

Love getting my lunch here. I've gotten the same thing at least 10 times because it's the perfect combination of spicy and creamy. I highly recommend visiting, the staff is friendly and the food is fresh!

Anytime I'm downtown Burlington this is my go-to?!! A freshly made Açaí Bowl hits the spot everytime! Made with fresh berries / kiwi / blueberries and topped with almond chips and honey upon request. Shannon- the server was very knowledgeable about the bowls and recommended a new bowl. She even engaged in small talk and allowed me to take my time when ordering. Small , cute space that sits next to Tanner's Wine Bar. They have music playing - and even bar seats so you have a great view of E. Front Street. And cute chairs that sit outside as well to enjoy the nice breeze.

Great spot if you want clean healthy food with simple ingredients! Its a nice place that has a well designed atmosphere of cleanliness. Its located in downtown burlington which makes it perfect to stroll around after eating or before stopping by. I usually love coming to try the different acai bowls however today i decided to try the CS toast w the turmeric latte. The toast to me was underwhelming, I was expecting a more red chili flake taste. I would recommend maybe adding a hot sauce/crema to the top of the toast. The turmeric latte was also lacking turmeric taste next time ill try adding double turmeric but i loved that it was with almond milk! The proportions can be a but small from what I'm used to other places however its perfect for those trying to keep a healthy option in mind. They have a good variety of toppings such as hemp seeds which are a deliciously add to any smoothie or acai bowl.

I used to be a regular at their old location and I am so glad to see they're finally open again. I actually moved out of state now but I made sure to come and visit the new location while I'm in town. The smoothie bowls and smoothies are just as good as I remember but they've now also added salads and grains to the menu. It's even better now because they have a fresh new location that is updated with lots of natural light and they're no longer in a shared cafeteria. They also got me my order pretty quickly. I fully recommend.

Top tier establishment. Eat here, your gut will thank you. Food 10, Atmosphere 10, Service 10. Chipotle's older cousin who traveled abroad and learned what it meant to eat wholesome meals without seed oils and married a woman who loves smoothie bowls and turmeric lattes.

A nice area to take a selfie!

My husband and I ordered in the restaurant, but they do have a digital drive thru for online pick up orders. We went a little after noon and the line was somewhat long, but the staff worked quickly to make their way through everyone's orders. I created my own Grains Bowl with half saffron basmati rice, half supergreens, traditional hummus, half grilled steak, half roasted vegetables, fiery broccoli, fire roasted corn, avocado, tomato & cucumber, Persian cucumber, shredded romaine, crumbled feta, and Greek vinaigrette (on the side). I also got a side of the hot harissa pita chips. It took maybe 15 minutes from when we entered Cava to when we sat down with our food. The food was fresh and blended well together. It was my first time trying the steak and it was absolutely delicious. I loved the pita chips too. I was a little hesitant that they would be too spicy, but they weren't at all. They were crunchy, warm, and with a hint of the harissa flavor - which was perfect to me. Pita chips feel like a must now with all Cava entrees. Restaurant was clean, bright, and buzzing with activity. The staff were friendly, but very concentrated on making sure everything was correct. The line to order was to the door when we ended up leaving. Parking is not an issue here because it's in a big shopping center. Cava is my go to place in Greensboro, so I'm excited it's closer to home now. Everyone should go show Cava some support and expect to be patient since the employees are brand new.

I liked seeing nutrition info per ingredient instead of a vague general range on the menu board. It's bright and clean, but it can get busy, and seating can be limited.

Locally owned -…read morewhich is always a plus in my book and the main reason I use yelp - so I support local businesses and not faceless corporations, but this is a spot I have frequented since my kids were little. They loved the train memorabilia and they ate things like tomato bisque (delicious!!) with a half a sweet lady (grilled turkey, cheese and apricot preserves) in the winter and a sweet lady and water melon in summer. They always have fruit on the menu as a side dish option, fresh if they can get it in season, canned if not. My kids were excited to pick one of the trains off the shelf by the front door to play with for a moment before their lunch arrived. Since the toys were a little sticky from years of play, it taught them to wash their hands before eating and to put borrowed toys away, neatly and I had a rule that they could pick a train to play with until their meals were ready and then they put the trains away and washed their hands and ate. On a recent visit, a very elderly man who moved very slowly left his cane at his table (closest to the pickup window) and came to claim the wrong order. The young man making sandwiches and assembling final orders politely asked him to double check his order number and got the order to the right customers. While the elderly gentleman made his way back to the table to check his order number, the kitchen staff member grabbed the right order, ran through the kitchen to the dining room, and met the man at his table with his correct order. The cook covered a good distance while the customer made it 6-8 feet. The elderly man was impressed with the service and happily sat down and ate his meal, rather than being embarrassed by forgetting his order number.

Even asked the register girl if she preferred we take it to go- she said it was fine to dine in. We sat down and as this mgr lady was putting other guests food in the window, she yelled to the cashier "if anyone else comes in tell them the kitchen is closed, should have been 20 mins ago"(which would have been an hour before closing time lol) and looked right at us. Super unprofessional comment- and icing on the cake... when our food was ready and my husband went to the counter to pick it up, the other lady in the kitchen said "I should have just packed that one to go". If you want to be done at 2:30- then don't have your business hours open till 3. Do yourself a favor and walk 20 feet down the sidewalk to Mikes Deli- same boards head meat and no one will talk shit about you in front of your face.

Mediterranean Deli, conveniently located on Williamson Avenue just off-campus from Elon University,…read morefeatures tasty, freshly-made, and very generous portions of Lebanese and Mediterranean cuisine in a very casual ambiance. I recently stopped in for lunch while visiting my niece at Elon and really enjoyed the experience! The atmosphere is very casual.. you place your order at the front counter and then grab a soda or iced tea from the self-serve soda fountain and a table while they prepare your plate. Our meals were freshly made and incredibly tasty. I ordered the hummus and falafel sandwich ($10), a generous portion of freshly-made falafel and regular hummus topped off with lettuce and tomato served in a pita, which was delicious and very filling. Just a heads up -- it's a little messy to eat since the hummus broke out of the bottom of the pita. Portions are reasonable for the price and the freshness of the ingredients was obvious. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the staff could be a little friendlier, but the food quality definitely makes it worth a visit while you're near campus. PRO TIP #1: Bonus points for the small sauce and pickled vegetables bar available to patrons no matter whether they grab one of the handful of small tables to enjoy their meal in-house or take their orders to enjoy elsewhere. PRO TIP #2: Mediterranean Deli doesn't have a private parking lot, but there's plenty of free on-street parking on Williamson Avenue and Lebanon Avenue.

Workers constantly watching tv, talking, or just like this last Friday, on their phones. We walked in and the man at the counter & young lady with purple hair did not look up from their phones-NOT ONE TIME. They did not greet us nor ask did we need any help. And it wasn't just us. Another customer came in and they proceeded to ignore them. This set the tone and went downhill from there. The food selection was scarce but we made do. However, the food, especially the sun dried tomato penne pasta was just bland and not good. The pasta was gummy and there was absolutely no flavor at all. We wound up tossing the food. We used to wonder why this place was never busy like the one on Chapel Hill. Now we know why-it's just not as good. Won't be returning.
