Crust is right around the corner from where I live and I love going there. Enjoyed some yummy pizza tonight with my parents (their first time). I have eaten at a lot of pizza restaurants but Crust is the winner! The dough is just the right amount and baked to perfection. I have tried this place several times. The pizza is alright. I love the toppings l, but I am ironically not a fan of the crust. (To each their own) I have also tried their subs and I do not think I would order one again unless they changed the bread. It was dry and stale. Tonight was our first time eating here since moving to the area. We ordered a medium Hawaiian pizza, a medium Buffalo pizza, and an order of goat cheese & marinara sauce that came with bread. This was my far the best pizza I have ever had in my entire life. It is a tad pricy, but worth every penny. My husband and I are in this area frequently and love pizza so we were excited to check this place out. We ordered over the phone and picked it up to take home. The employees were nice and our pizza was ready for pickup when we arrived. The ambiance inside is quite fancy/romantic for a pizza place. But I would like to dine in at some point. So glad our area is getting quality restaurants like Crust. For a pizza place, this is as high end food as you can get. We've been several times to eat in and even ordered catering to go for a meeting. Everything we've ordered was outstanding. The only thing I would change is the way they cut the pizza. Pizza was the best I've tasted in a long while! It was a bit different from your usual dine in restaurants. You order first, take a number, then take a seat. It sounds fine and dandy at first glance but this place gets packed pretty quick. Plus is they bring the food to you along with the plates. The pizza is always very good. There is a house salad on the menu which will easily fill you up. Make sure to order it with the balsamic vinaigrette dressing, it's the best. My only complaint is the with the kids that bring the food to your table. Every time we are there they seem to want to rush you through your meal. Sunday night one came over and tried to take my salad bowl until she saw I wasn't finished. A few minutes later with still a third of our pizza still on the platter another asked if we wanted a to go box, heck I was still chewing. Give me time to eat what I want at the pace I want. THIS PLACE IS GREAT! It's a little pricy but you get what you pay for. It's not like any other pizza place around. These pizzas are made with care. Good thin pizza and cleanliness are the only positives for me. I am married but with no kids and this is definitely a family place. When I go somewhere I like to be waited on and this place requires you to pay at the front and service yourself. Not a place to have a few beers and eat pizza. This Restaurant is always clean. The food is always fresh and delicious. I usually go with a lunch special. Personal sized 3 topping pizza and salad always hits the spot. But Crust is getting 5 stars for service. I've been here dozens of times and haven't had a bad experience. But on two occasions something went wrong with our order. And the staff was very proactive. For example, just now we ordered a calzone with 3 toppings and one topping was missing. and they realized, brought us the calzone with the missing topping but had a correct calzone already in the oven and let us take the other one to go. read more

Yes solid 4 stars. I am very particular about pizza as a native to New York and I think their pizza is pretty good. Now, it isn't wood fire grilled by any means but the flavor of the sauce is good, their crust is oiled and thin and the toppings really make it. Our pizza came out hot and had good flavor. They also chop it in a different way, not into slices but into squares. We got the medium pizza so I'm not sure if they do this with every size pizza or not. Between the two of us we took some of the pizza home. We had the spinach salad to share which was small but probably one of the best salads I've had in a long time. The onions and tomatoes were warm and the dressing was an olive oil and herb mix like you'd get at Carrabba's to dip your bread in before your meal. Every ingredient was fresh on both the pizza and the salad. It is a little pricey for a pizza place but I'll pay a little more if it's consistently fresh! The service was good and the food came out to us quickly. We were here on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't packed but steady. For a fast casual restaurant this place looks great. The booths are big and cozy and their tables can accommodate big families. They have an outdoor patio. They also have a large TV in the center of the restaurant which they play sports on. Pros and Cons. We have been coming here since it opened on a regular basis. Their pizza is excellent and by far THE BEST anywhere around. Quality ingredients and thin crust. On the other hand AVOID their pastas as they all look and taste like Stouffers from the grocery store. The wings are really good considering they are baked and not fried. Draft beer is cold and not too pricy. Its better for carry out as its usually over run by screaming kids and the temp inside requires a fur coat. I heard good things about this place so I was really looking forward to eating here. When I got there it was pure chaos, with kids, customers and employees all running around. I was trying to be patient and understanding but I had to ask someone three times to clear a table for me. There were no cups for drinks so there was a line waiting for those, which we had to ask two different ppl since the first guy we asked left and started running out food instead. The wait was about 40 mins which was expected. When our food arrived in the window the runner took it to another table then realized it wasn't there's and was dumbfounded as to who the pizza belonged to since he lost the ticket. I had to go up there and tell him it was in fact my pizza. Also had to ask him twice for my appetizer that never arrived. The pizza would have been good if it was correct. The buffalo chicken was buffalo less. Also my appetizer arrived after the pizza was gone. So all in all, I wanted to like you but I doubt I will be returning after such a horrible experience. read more

Okay - not so much here about the food but about the experience. Restaurant entry is PACKED and like cattle herding going in as you enter. The small space to go to counter, pick up orders to go, etc is always a line (well if you can make a small herd into a line) and ALSO serves as the exit door. Crazy in here anyday after 5:30. Oh there's another door but to exit here, you must maze through tables, families & lots of running/playing kids (fine thing...but not to take grandma out the door here). It can be rearranged a bit. Crust folks...help your Rayford location or folks won't return! Oh and....if sitting on the patio, take note. No stop POLES to keep those 4-5 vehicles whipping in to not go right up on the patio where you and family are sitting. Not to be crazy or sound like Debbie Downer but it almost happened with a big truck pulling in during our 1st visit. Uh no more patio for us! Pizza's pretty good, wait last night pretty long (20-25 min) and husbands sandwich came out last. Fix the front entrance & alleviate the congestion at front counter please! read more

After a bad experience in late February, we decided to give Crust Pizza Rayford another try. My husband ordered the same "feta only" pizza due to a food allergy and I, again, confirmed with the employee at the register that the pizza had been correctly prepared. Once again, the pizza was wrong. Luckily, they simply did not put any cheese on the pizza at all so my husband pulled feta out of the refrigerator and reheated the overpriced pizza. Tony, the manager on duty, was very nice when I called in and said that he remembered my first bad Yelp review and promised that he would credit my card and follow up with the owner tomorrow and get back to me. We shall see. Should I give Crust another try in the future??? Isn't the definition of insanity to do the same thing over and over expecting a different result??!! read more
