Well now I can check off the Tempe Crust Pizzeria location & officially confirm that they're on the top of my list of best pizza places out here in Phoenix when I'm craving for some great pizza! We finished a long evening of shopping & I just wanted to grab a nice pizza plus a couple of those addicting chocolate chip cookies... OMG!!! I called in my order, caught them right before closing & ordered the Uncle Louie plus a couple of the cookies! I got there 10 minutes before closing, pulled up as they were putting our pizza in the box, opened the box & of course had zero complaints! The Uncle Louie was a new choice for us, the pie was nice & thin the way that we like it... not all that heavy dough that makes you feel bloated after you eat one slice! The quality of products that Crust uses really makes a difference, this pizza is 20" & they put the big deli sliced pepperoni on the pizza plus they put sliced sausage not ground! Personally I'm a basil lover therefore I'd request extra basil next time, other than that the pizza was delish as we expected! So there you have it, now we know that whether we're north Phoenix or south it's confirmed that both Crust locations are consistent with each other which is nice to know! I come to Crust once (sometimes twice) a week for lunch. The pizza is delicious and is their daily wine by the glass special. Usually we are served by Gianna or Reese. Both of them are amazing and greet me by name whenever I come in. They are both so friendly and take great care of me and my family when we all come in. OMG the food at Crust is drool worthy . My boyfriend and I decided to go out for dinner on a Friday night and were first surprised by no wait! We got the pizza and wing special along with some drinks. DELISH! The pizza is huge! We took half home to eat later. The BBQ wings were crispy and saucy, a favorite and I LOVE wings. After posting my previous review, I was contacted by the owner who offered to make things right and gave me information on who to contact. I'm always a bit skeptical when this happens, but I was informed that this location recently changed management from the last time I was there. I gave it another try today for lunch and I am so glad that I did. The previous experience was awful with what felt like food that had been sitting. This pizza was so fresh and tasty. I got the special of the month which had Alfredo, grilled chicken, mozzarella, and bacon. So delicious. I ordered an extra side of grilled chicken because it was so moist and juicy packing a lot of flavor. The big test for me was the paper underneath the pizza. My biggest issue last time was the amount of grease on the pizza. As you can see from my photo, this one almost had none! Amazing considering how tasty it was. The ambiance looked much nicer and cleaner than my previous visit. I will have to try dining in next time to see if it is the same experience. By the way, in regard to service, I was greeted the second I walked in the door. That was a step up from last time too. I will definitely be back again.
