Nice eclectic pizza spot. It was very quiet. We were the only group in there. There was also only 1 person working that we saw but she was remarkable. She even let us try the Italian ice. As far as the pizza it was delicious. The crust was so good. The perfect crisp. The topping were fresh and flavorful. The location is pretty nice too because there was a lot to do in the area.

Tuscany Love Pizza Slice ($9), Build Your Own Pizza in the Back

Awesome pizza in a dive-y, edgy interior. The pizza is HUGE, and the crust is really thin. Definitely an eat with a fork/fold type pizza. There were some really creative ones like chicken and waffles pizza! Tried a Tuscany Love Slice ($9, SO big), and an 18" build your own with a bunch of toppings including pineapple and sausage. I loved the tomato sauce, it has a hint of sweetness. Crust is light and airy. $54 (without tax) for the Pizza, Slice, and a beer. It's on the pricier side but with the portions and ingredient quality it makes sense. Vibes inside are super cool, lots of wall art, blaring electronic music and the staff is super nice. They're open until midnight or 3 AM on Thurs/Friday/Saturday.

BBQ chicken pizza with onion rings

Spinelli's was pretty empty on Thursday afternoon and you could definitely tell that it was a legit college pizza and bar spot. The most "creative" pizza we ordered was the BBQ Chicken, which had onion rings and basic chicken chunks. We also had Hawaiian and cheese pizzas. Overall, the pizzas were just fine. They do a great job of marketing their business with cool designed stickers and t-shirts. Also, there are murals and other interesting things on the walls and ceilings. The overwhelming negative was the upstairs men's bathroom. The smell alone was unbelievably gnarly.

Of all the things I wanted to do when we visited Arizona, Spinelli's was on the top of my list. It did not disappoint. Food was unique, flavorful & excellent. Atmosphere was so much fun, doesn't matter if you're a kid, or adult. Lots of room, tons of art to admire. Service was top notch, fast & friendly. We ordered 3 pizzas, it was hard to choose a favorite, as they were all delicious. Mac & Cheese with Jalapeño took my number 1 vote. My kids tied for favorites on the chicken & waffle pizza & the bbq chicken. My husband's favorite item was the Philly cheesesteak fries! My only complaint isn't really a complaint at all, just wish there was somewhere similar where I live, cause we're 10 hours away!

The 2 star is only because it's a nostalgia spot. Otherwise lately it's a one star. Came in and purchased a $35 mushroom and green pepper 18". I've been coming here for years and yes I know it's all about the slices but I thought I'd splurge a bit. I was terribly wrong. I paid over $40 including tip for this pizza. Whatever pricing on the full pizza sucks. Get the slices. While waiting for my "custom 18" I sat at the bar and thought to myself. This place seems the same? The pizza is still terrible, and bartenders still rude. I'm actually the most amazed it's still in business. As an Arizona local and now Tempe home owner with this as our closest pizza spot. avoid.

When I went into this pizza place, these 2 great ladies greeted me and got my order in quick! They had great personalities and made the wait worth while! I will be coming back often as long as these ladies are here!!

They charged us $50 for an 18" one star pizza. The dough was chewy, the chicken was gross and every bite was a dollar.

Afterwards, he mentioned that he tasted it and agreed about our comments- I appreciate that level of attention. Shortly after, the food arrived. Spicy pork tacos for me, and BLTA for my wife. The tacos looked a little overdressed. I was so wrong. Flavor and texture were balanced perfectly. The tortillas were firm, but again, perfectly suited to the juicy pork, that had a teriyaki vibe. Sprouts, carrot and cucumber toppings worked well, despite my expectations. The BLTA was HUGE. Great flavor. Both entrees were ordered with sweet potato fries. Unusual cut to them, but seasoned perfectly. I paired mine with chipotle aioli and ate every last one. My only complaint is that I'm only spending one evening in the Phoenix area, and won't be back soon. I would eat this food three times a week without hesitation.

I ordered the pesto goat cheese spread with crostini - it was way too think and hard as a rock. Very hard to bite in to. The spread needed salt. We ordered the Pacos Tacos. I took off onions and bacon. My husband had it just the way it comes. We really enjoyed those. The black beans it came with was absolutely delish My daughter and her hubby ordered the grilled cheese. My daughters came with pear spiced bread - tasted like raisin bread - none of us cared for it. Service was good. Not a place we would go back to. I do like that all salads could be turned in to a wrap. The drink menu looked fun. Cute atmosphere- you should secure a reservation.

Easy peasy 5 stars…read more Tempe Eats has a cool concept, there are several smaller restaurants that are setup in a food court deal, you use the QR Code to get your food. They have alcohol which seems to be sold by a different company-- Anyways chik pop is just amazing. I got the OG Sando spicy which was a perfectly fried chicken thigh in a sandwich-- they add an extra piece of chicken with it so just on portion size this place is a winner. The heat was solid and the chicken was juicy check my pic. Staff was super friendly and the Tempe Eats has someone checking on you as well. The sandwiches come with a purple Italian style dressing ( not sure what is was) that you may find off-putting so if you are sensitive to that stuff get the sauce on the side. I didn't mind it all. Sandwich comes with fries-- the place has water pitchers with lemons in it, get some water. You need to try this place! Can't wait to go back.

I ordered the Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich, and the portion was huge the chicken was spilling out of the bread! I was actually the only one at the table who finished the whole thing (I was hungry!). We came here for my brother's birthday and our server did a great job making him feel special. They offered him a birthday shot, but since he doesn't drink, they brought us churros for the table instead which was sweet of them. One thing to note* I wasn't expecting it to be as spicy as it was. Our server did give me a heads up but I personally loved the heat. If you're not into spicy food though, it might be a bit much.

Let's start with the food: 5/5. I got the breakfast bowl and it was hands down the best breakfast…read morebowl I've ever had. It had duck bacon (was curious about this bc I'm not a fan of duck), turkey sausage, black beans, quinoa, egg, spinach and more. Somehow that entire medley was perfection when it comes to flavor. Usually bowls can be dry with no sauce, but it was not lacking at all. Staff and service: 5/5 we brought our dog Tom who's a pretty big golden doodle and sometimes can get overly excited when he gets brought outside. But their staff was nice enough to give us a dog bowl with water for him and served his egg on a little to go box plate. It's a little stressful with Tom at times and they made it so much easier. Inside/outside set-up: 5/5. They have a gorgeous inside dining with bar situation. Interior design was super cute for a date and I loved the hanging lamps. We were welcomed with a friendly smile. We explained that the other half of our party was on their way & the host promptly prepared our table... mostly. There were small plates set for each of us, but only one roll-up/napkin (for 4) & no drink menu. Minor details, but it kinda set the tone for the service experience. Now listen... the spot itself is cute. Once we actually got service, our waiter was cool. It just took forevvverrrrr & I ended up having to request cutlery after food was served. To be fair, it was busy, but there also seemed to be plenty of wait staff, so I'm not exactly sure where the disconnect was. Food-wise: the spinach artichoke dip was definitely the table favorite. My caprese panini was ok, it was sadly lacking pesto which feels a little criminal for a caprese situation. Our friends loved the fancy French toast & I was absolutely there for the prickly pear mimosas The entire brunch honestly felt like it was one dropped plate away from becoming a sitcom episode. One poor new waiter dropped a plate on the floor, then later knocked glasses off the rack above the bar & shattered a couple right next to guests sitting there. I genuinely felt bad for him because you could tell he was having a rough shift. That said, I really appreciated that they acknowledged the long wait & gave us a discount without us having to ask. That kind of accountability goes a long way. Overall, I'd still go back & give them another try because the atmosphere was fun, the vibe was there, and I can see the potential. Every restaurant has an off day -- especially during a busy brunch rush.
