Five stars doesn't even cover it…read more This is the second time I've worked with William Frates at Elements Painting &somehow the experience was even better than the first--ten years later. That alone says a lot. This was not a small job. We're talking full interior refresh: walls, trim, doors, cabinets--floor to ceiling, everything. And from start to finish, William and his crew were exceptional. They showed up on time every single day (sometimes early... and politely waited outside until it was time to come in). Professional, kind, respectful--every interaction. They even took their shoes off without being asked. That level of care matters. They worked fast, but never sloppy. Clean, organized, detail-oriented. And when I say they put everything back exactly as it was--I mean it. Which is saying something, because I didn't exactly make that easy on them. The end result? Better than I expected. And my expectations are not low. William runs a tight ship, and it shows in every corner of the work. We initially consulted with Sullivan Septic. They charged us nearly $1,000 to drain our system and then wanted to charge another $1,000 to replace the pump. We did not like Sullivan's rep and approach. It felt very aggressive and rubbed both my wife and I the wrong way. We did additional research and stumbled onto John with JPJ and am SO HAPPY we did. John came out and looked at our system and explained how we can't do work until the septic fills back up to understand if the pump is broken or not. Ends up, a few months later, our pump was indeed broken. John came out the next day, replaced it, and for nearly half the price that Sullivan quoted. Great service. Great company. Very pleased and highly recommend.

I would not recommend Liftech based on my experience. The biggest concerns were the lack of proper…read moresubgrade preparation, the lack of transparency, and the difficulty getting clear, consistent answers throughout the process. I specifically chose and paid extra for high early cement because my goal was to regain access to my garage parking as soon as possible. I expected clear guidance on the product's performance and realistic timelines. Instead, I received conflicting information ranging from not being able to walk on the concrete for 48 hours to not being able to park on it for anywhere from 2-10 days. When I asked for clarification, the responses were vague. Liftech's production manager stated, "There are no specific specs for high early since it is mixed with concrete at the plant," and also said, "There is varying information because no concrete is created equally." I would expect concrete professionals and concrete plants to have more consistent information regarding the product being installed. Another major concern was the subgrade preparation. Liftech subcontracted the concrete work, and when the crew arrived, they did not even have a compactor onsite. I asked the workers if they planned to compact the subgrade, and based on their responses and actions, it did not appear that proper compaction was part of their plan until I contacted their Project Manager and requested that a compactor be brought to the site. The subbase also does not appear to have been watered down as part of the preparation process. The video speaks for itself regarding the preparation that was completed before the concrete was poured. For a project of this size and cost, I expected better communication, transparency, and attention to detail. Unfortunately, my experience left me questioning both the workmanship and the information provided throughout the process.

Before scheduling Bobbie explained the service they provide and it was quite impressive. They texted when they were on the way, and showed up right on time. They wasted no time in getting to work. During the service DJ diagnosed the issue and also found a few gas leaks. He fixed those, and tested everything when completed and WOW, what a difference. My fireplace is beautiful and working perfectly. AND I have the added piece of mind knowing that it is operating in a safe manner. I can't recommend this guys enough. They're great!

Also, it's up to you to go all over to different vendors for every aspect: counters, flooring, cabinets, electrical, plumbing etc. Discussing payment would require a meeting with yet another person. It was all too complicated and overwhelming for me.
