My wife recently had the misfortune of driving over a small pile of screws on the NDT. Needless to say, her tire managed to pickup about 10 or so of them, leaving the tire unrepairable. Since money is tight these days, I didn't welcome the thought of having the unplanned expense of needing to replace a $200 tire. Enter Cruz Tire Shop. What a simple little gem that fit the bill perfectly. I popped in and Alex had what I needed; a tire that was the correct size for our Durango. Of course it was used, but by the look of it, probably has less than 10k miles on it. Alex had it on the rim, balanced AND checked for leaks, then put on the car in less than 15 minutes. Reviews about this place are outdated... DO NOT get serviced here. I went last week for tires and they didn't have my size. Today I went back to get a repair on a new tire i caught a nail in. Once the tire was off the rim they told me they couldn't fix it since there was too much damage done by the nail on the inside of the tire but they did happen to have my size on a used tire they tried to sell me for $150. The audacity.... If you anybody thinks that's a good deal there is a tire shop in Denton no less than 10 minutes down 380 where i had bought 2 very good used tires for $140 for both. Today just happened to be the only day they are closed. Once i declined there offer he told me he had to charge me $7 to put my spare back on. Do not go here read more

These guys fixed an issue the morons at walmart couldn't find. I bought a new tire and walmart and it was losing air every day, I would have to completely air a new tire every single day and after spending all week going back and forth to walmart, I just gave up and was prepared to buy a new tire with the Cruz guys. Little Hole In The Wall, family owned tire repair shop. Basically it is the guy's home garage/work shop. Important: He takes CASH only. Good, fast, no frills tire repairs. He pulled a nail out of my tire and patched it for $10. Sweet! Open Sundays which was a plus for me. Otherwise I would have been jammed up without repair options on a Sunday afternoon. The "waiting area" are two bench seats in front of the workshop pulled from a couple of pickup trucks. This is what I meant by LHITW. Just down the street from Walmart on FM720 south of 380. Not far from the Prairie House. Highly recommend them if you need to get your tire patched or repaired in a jiffy. read more

This place is great! Little hole in the wall tire shop. For minor tire work, this is the place to go. Got a nail in my my left rear Inifiniti run flat tire. Called the dealer and they said it would be $300 to replace the tire and that they couldn't patch the tire because it is a run flat (fyi, run flat tires are a huge scam). I did some research and apparently you can patch run flats as long as the hole is not on the side of the tire. Called Cruz's Tire Shop and they patched up my run flat for $15, quick and easy! Told my husband they couldn't fix the tire because the screw in the tire was at too much of an angle but didn't even take the tire off. Then tried to sell him a one tire for 100 dollars. Mind you this is a VW rabbit not big tires at all. Took it to Firestone they fixed it just fine read more

On one occasion, they did not have my tire size, but the gentleman made a phone call to their other location, which is not to far and confirmed they had my tire there. I was extremely grateful. I have been going to Cruz for over 6years now and have been really happy with their experience, price and customer service. Today I went in with 2 tires to mount and balance, expecting the same price. They raised their rates by $10 and there is a new, much less experienced guy. Normally they do a real good job with all the wheels & tires I bring them, however today the new guy tore up the plasti-dip on the wheels. My wife and will NOT be going back to Cruz Tire.
