The last trip, just today, I simply fetched my pants ($23 lost) because the hem was too long after alterations, and the resize was going to be 3 inches shorter yet. The pants, fairly expensive, were not worth this potential disaster. I opted to go to a tailor, where he alters my pants to 30 length and I have no issues whatsoever.

I used a washer and after the laundry was done in washer found someone left over lip gloss (cap was off, still lip gloss in tube a dark shade at that) was in the washer during my wash. Luckily it didn't get on my clothes and I found it before drying. Washers range from $7-$12 dryers are $0.25 per every 5 minutes or so. I attempted to use two dryers paid money and they went out on me. Luckily the attendant was still there and was able to grab some quarters and paid for me to basically change dryers. So no money lost and no hassle.

For pickup they said they'd come around 5 so I stuck around waiting for a while, but they showed up an hour later. I know they said they'd can drop-off and pick up without anyone being home but I'd prefer not to leave my clothes outside. I totally understand that things happen but considering the price I paid for the service, I was hoping that the pick-up and delivery would be smoother. Update: After checking the clothes I am extremely disappointed, some of my clothes came back with stains that weren't there before and I am also missing some items. I just knew my pants were ruined, but since these are some of my favorite slacks, I decided to do my best to try and save them. I hobbled, sore, soiled, and embarrassed, to a nearby Target to pick up some stain pre-treating solution. After getting cleaned up and changing my clothes, I applied the laundry solution to my soiled slacks, checked Yelp for great nearby dry cleaners and found this place. Connie was very kind, offered her sympathy and promised to do her best to remove the wet and greasy stains. A few days later, I returned to pick up my slacks. I was fully prepared for Connie to tell me that she had done her best, but that they could not be saved. Imagine my surprise when she handed them over to me with a great big smile on her face. I took the pants out to inspect them and they were brilliantly white. In fact, I don't think they were that white when I initially purchased them! I couldn't believe it! Connie told me that her husband had worked hard to get the stains out for me. I can only imagine how difficult it must have been, cleaning oil and dirt out of a white garment, but I can't tell you how much I appreciate the diligence and hard work they put in to save my garment. And at $8.00 for the cleaning, I would say that the price was more than commiserate with the experience. This will definitely be my cleaners of choice for the remainder of my time in San Ramon!

They do an excellent job with dry cleaning. I've dropped off dress shirts, suits, wool/cashmere sweaters, coats, silk scarves, etc. and they all came out fine. The prices are slightly above average, but I'd rather pay a little more knowing that they won't mess up my garments. I've only tried their alteration service once (during pandemic) and I wasn't very pleased. The shirt turned out to be a lot shorter than I wanted. I also noticed the stitches were kind of crooked; didn't look professionally done. Fortunately it wasn't my favorite or an expensive shirt so I can live with it.
