I have not used this business often, nut the past two times were very disappointing. The first was an expensive order in which the owner/manager assumed all my items were to be dry-cleaned, not laundered. They were not. I had to hand select each item to be laundered, thus reducing my bill $15 for the right reasons. The last trip, just today, I simply fetched my pants ($23 lost) because the hem was too long after alterations, and the resize was going to be 3 inches shorter yet. The pants, fairly expensive, were not worth this potential disaster. I opted to go to a tailor, where he alters my pants to 30 length and I have no issues whatsoever. read more

Tried two other cleaners in Dublin over 2-3 years before switching to Greenway a couple years ago. They are fantastic - clothes always come out looking new, which was not the case with the other businesses. I believe my shirts and sweaters are actually lasting longer because of it. It's not the cheapest, but the quality is of their work is exceptional, service is great, and the proprietors are the nicest people you'll ever meet. Greenway Cleaners is an amazing shop. Recently, I have been out of my home for almost 4 months due to flooding in my house and construction nightmares. The owners of Greenway Cleaners have supported me. They are so fast and efficient with their wash and fold program. When I have needed items quickly, they respond quickly. Even when I say yes to the date that they give me for pick up, it is usually done earlier. I asked Greenway to do a few alterations on my clothing items including making a blouse's neckline not so deep and they have done the work beautifully. When I had an issue with static cling on items, they fixed the issue. Greenway Cleaner is attentive to the customer's needs. I cannot recommend Greenway Cleaners enough. I read some of the bad reviews and I am perplexed by them. Don't listen to the haters. I have been going to Greenway for 4 months about 3 times a week and none of these issues are true. I haven't found them to close early nor quote incorrect prices. If they did close early one time, I would say that it is because they work really hard, it is family operated, and there must have been a good reason to close 15 minutes early. Anyway, why would someone give a company a 1 star for this? Go to Greenway Cleaners! You won't be sorry. read more

Maybe I am not living in reality but I took 3 men's shirts and 2 men's pants for laundry cleaning and it came to $42.35. The 3 shirts alone were $25.35.. Even for today I think that's a littledecisive and I don't understand why people would rave about the cost of this dry cleaning.. I have been trying various cleaners in the East Bay (no more than twice) since I moved up here from So Cal in 2007 and haven't found one I liked until now. I am a military officer and my expectations about dry cleaning are quite high. Three reasons stand out in my mind about why I like Greenway Cleaners. 1. When I did some looking on Yelp in April 2009 I was looking for someone who would do 1 day cleaning on a SATURDAY. I was leaving for a trip to West Point and HAD TO HAVE my uniforms before I got on the plane that night. After calling what seems like every cleaner in the greater Tri-Valley area I called Greenway based on other Yelp reviews and they said NO PROBLEM. I dropped it off on Friday at closing and told them I would pick it up before they closed on Saturday. It suffices to say I was running a bit behind and was getting off the freeway about 15 minutes before they closed. They CALLED ME to check if I was still coming! I have never had a cleaner call me to check on my arrival; it was surprising. 2. Their quality of work is exceptional. I hadn't even realized how good until I cleaned a dress uniform coat that I've had for some time. They cleaned it so well that I couldn't find most of the "holes" where I pin on my insignia, again something that shocked me. It was almost like a brand new jacket! 3. Finally I want to echo some of the other reviews when I say they look out for you BIG TIME. I walked away after dropping off my cleaning one time and made it all the way to my car when the person behind the counter ran out to me to tell me I had dropped my sunglasses next to my car IN THE PARKING LOT. How they caught that I'll never know. What I do know is that I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Greenway Cleaners. read more

I just got back from trying to pick up dry cleaning for a trip I am leaving for tomorrow (Sunday). I arrived at Greenway at 5:15 and they had CLOSED EARLY! The closing time posted on the door says Saturdays until 5:30. What a lousy way to treat customers. If you are looking for a reliable dry cleaner I would look elsewhere. UPDATE - I just picked up my dry cleaning. The owner immediately knew who I was from the review I posted. I was really surprised. He explained he had a family emergency at his house that day and did not have any signs to post in the window as to why he was closed early. He apologized for the inconvenience and gave me my dry cleaning order for free. read more

Friendly, they remember my name even though I go in every couple weeks. They do a good job with cleaning, alterations. For work I wear suits everyday and I've tried many places over the years. I like this place a lot because of the service but especially because the chemicals they use don't leave a funny smell in my clothing like others do. read more

As a new customer, I think the job they do is great. It's a convenient place for me to use. However, it can get pretty expensive.

I've been going here for the last couple years and the best thing about this place is the service. Always fast and friendly. The prices are comparable to others. The clothes do not come back having that "dry cleaning smell" on them which is great! One time I forgot my wallet to pay and the lady behind the counter said that I can pay for it next time and let me take home my clothes. I have tried several dry cleaners in San Ramon and have not been happy with the dry cleaning/laundering. Called first thing this morning to ask how much it would be to have 13 women's shirts (lightweight flannel button up shirts) pressed. I was told it would be $1.95 each so I took all of my shirts off hangers brought them down only to be told to be five dollars each what a waste of time. Not a very happy customer! read more
