It was the perfect mix of "leave me alone to shop" and "I need some help". The younger associate was absolutely lovely, extremely knowledgeable - she surprised me because she looked about 19/20 but so professional in this world. The owner was incredibly kind and opened the glass doors of display cases for me to take a closer look at things, which lead me to purchasing the two beauties below. At purchase, I asked him to write down the names and origins on the back of my receipt so I wouldn't somehow forget their respective info. Their prices were high for someone on my budget, but at least I knew they weren't grown in a lab. You could tell the owner is truly passionate about procuring stones and sharing his love of them--I felt like I had really delighted him by obtaining these "treasures" from his collection and adding them to my own. :)

I was recommended for it by an acquaintance and I was in the mood to do some incense stick shopping a few weekends ago so I finally paid my first visit there. What a cute place! I love it! There is all kinds of spiritual or metaphysical items and some things that are there just for the sheer fun of it. They did not disappoint in having a good variety of incense and Steve bought an absolutely beautiful reflective Crescent Moon incense holder. It's so beautiful I am almost afraid to use it. They have a great tea and book section and all kinds of candles. But the thing that was a real extra bonus was their chocolate section. They have a small counter in which you can pick chocolates from out of the case. We each bought an espresso chocolate and a coconut chocolate and they were so good! I don't know the back story with the chocolates but it wouldn't surprise me if the owner made them themselves. The chocolates are certainly local for sure and not associated with any large candy company. A really fun and rewarding stop! I will have to make more deliberate points to go here. If nothing else a quick stop for more of those chocolates!

I am so glad she found this cute little shop!!! The owner (i never got their name but AMAZING SOUL!!) Is so nice and friendly. This store is absolutely so cute, there are so many varieties of apothecary items, including an herb shelf (got myself some Blue Lotus flowers!) That was my favorite aside from the little area where we could write our own tarot cards. I loved that idea so much. They apparently pick one a day to display. I think this really invites the community of people who come through to place a piece of their essence here and share in the kindred spirits I definitely feel. If I ever come back to visit my bestie, I'm for sure coming back!
