It seems to be in the middle of nowhere, but is reasonably well marked and easy to find. Plenty of parking right in front, even when it's moderately busy with dashers picking up orders for DashMart groceries. Surprisingly fast and friendly service, so I was able to grab my food and get going in no time. Super convenient if you're in the area; I'll happily do this again!

This store is arranged in standard QuikTrip fashion. Depending on which side you enter you can choose fountain drinks or coffee drinks on tap on the immediate wall. There is fresh food in an open refrigerated section and a variety of hot foods. There is also a kitchen with a kiosk screen from which ordering can take place. There are fresh donuts and related pastries in the morning, which are discounted at night. Like other convenience stores you can find candy and generic sundries and groceries. I've just come in for the drinks. The fountain drinks have the right carbonation. I also like that they offer coffee on tap; it's unique. Both the cold brews are tasty, as well as the hot coffee offerings. And, if you want to sweeten your coffee, they tend to have 6-10 flavored creamers available for this use. And of course, they have the good personal service other convenience stores don't. You are greeted and thanked. Also, one person working can handle checking out people from both sides of the register. The fuel pumps are located a decent distance away from the store and are spaced well apart for vehicles to maneuver around. The pumps are also very modern.

They do have some tables that you could sit and eat there if you want and watch the people go in and out of the store, Everyone is always nice and friendly. They have a variety, drinks and alcohol all kinds of cigarettes. Of course they have the Texas Lottery and scratch off tickets. I go mostly there to get a fountain drink because they have that really good sonic ice. While the prices here aren't always the cheapest in the area, there are some notable winners that we've come back for more than once. First off, their bread and bagels have the lowest prices in Cedar Park. One loaf of bread or a bag of 6 bagels cost $2. Randalls easily charges $2.50 per loaf or $4 for 6 bagels. Next are their wines. Now I'm not a wine snob, but I can appreciate a Peju, Oberon, or a Sequoia Grove. Though the wines at Aldi's aren't anywhere near the caliber of wines those wineries produce, I did recently find a single vineyard Malbec from Argentina for $8. It surprised me. I would get it again. They do have some name brand staples and they're priced similar to other supermarkets in the area. I would stay away from their meats though as there are better deals elsewhere. Their shopping cart system requires a quarter to unlock the chain mechanism, but you get it back when you return your cart. They also don't have bags so you must bring your own. They do have empty boxes you can use to pack your groceries back home.

Brookshire Brothers, Brookshire Brothers Express, David's Supermarkets, David's Express, Pecan Foods, Brookshire Brothers Pharmacy and Tobacco Barn are all part of the Brookshire Brothers family. I came to this new Lago Vista location on Sunday on the way back to the Rock. This store is clean, offers a simple layout, has a decent sized fresh fruit and veggie section, reasonable prices, and a great hot and ready food section. Thing One and I purchased an 8-piece white meat bag of 'spicy' fried chicken (that wasn't so spicy), sushi, tortilla chips, and a Brookshire Brothers salsa. While the list of items may seem odd, we purchased what we did to get a taste of what this TX based store offered. We were both pleased with the fried chicken, and while it wasn't the best, it was good for a grocery store. The sushi was a miss for me, but then again, it's not a sushi bar, it's a grocer.
