I normally do not review grocery stores, but I felt like this one deserved a shout out. I love H E B in general, but this particular location is hands down my favorite and, in my opinion, the best one overall. It is not the newest H E B and it is not the most updated, but honestly, that is part of what makes it so great. Even when it is crowded, you can still move around easily and get down the aisles without constantly waiting for someone to move their cart. A lot of the newer H E Bs have much smaller aisles, which can make shopping feel stressful, especially during busy times. That is never really an issue here. On top of that, the customer service is always great. The staff is friendly, helpful, and consistent every time I visit. Parking is also usually ample, so you are not circling the lot forever trying to find a spot unless it is right before a major holiday like Thanksgiving. Overall, this H E B gets it right. Great service, great products, and a store layout that actually makes grocery shopping easy and stress free. This location definitely deserves the recognition. read more

Produce was moldy and unkept. I went in primarily wanting produce on a Saturday evening and it was a mess. It wasn't busy at all but there was debris and garbage on the floor, the items didn't look good and after seeing moldy sweet potatoes I left. I won't come back to this store again. I finally went and tried H-E-B's seafood boil. Well the crawfish were good. No dead ones in the 4lbs I bought. Sizes were some small and mostly medium with a few large. The were well seasoned. They were a mild on heat scale. I prefer hot. Still good job by staff. The corn was amazing! Definitely more heat than anything else. Probably best corn I have had in years. Definitely worth it! The shrimp is by far the best boiled shrimp I have ever had anywhere! They were all large, easy to peel and great tasting. The sausage is H-E-B's brand which is awesome. I make my own Cajun boiled potatoes. I'm Irish so potatoes are a regular staple in our house. Overall this is a great opportunity to enjoy an outstanding seafood boil. HEB has always been fantastic and this past week's experience was the best. I utilized curbside, ordered in the app everything I needed, drove up at the designated time and everything was ready without a hitch. Came in to pick up wife's subscription and decided to indulge in the free samples. They have real Xmas trees out front!!! Being from Chicago, this isn't a common occurrence for me. I was in awe to see real trees in water . Made the season a little more magical for me. Even the pharmacy was in the spirit with their own tree and stocking wall. read more

I'm not a fan of this location's floor plan. It's very scattered and in some areas too cramped. Their lines are always very long with far too few cashiers/baggers. They have some wonderful employees but it's just not the best shopping experience. read more

This HEB Plus is poorly managed, stocked, and often has debris in the food aisles, completely empty shelves, empty meat shelves, and is also often out of products for several days. I have had to routinely complain to corporate to get issue addressed. I have made multiple complaints to HEB Corporate about the HEB Plus store located at 1700 E Palm Valley Blvd, Round Rock, TX for the past two years. There may be improvement for a day or two, but then the same issues keep happening. The manager of this store needs to be fired. HEB Corporate needs to make unannounced visits to this location at different times of the business day to monitor the management and stocking of this store. read more

I came here for gas today and I bought a car wash. It's clean and The attendant is kind and helpful. The car wash prices Range from 999 to 1399. There is a one dollar discount for getting gasoline. I purchased the ultimate wash, and with a discount it was 12.99. It's a pretty good wash machine. There's special arms that come out just to wash the rims. It's got under body spray cleans the underside of your car as you drive in. There is a high powered dryer that dries the car (somewhat). The entire Ultimate Wash took 7 minutes and it DID clean! The gas pump failed to print a receipt. The attendant had to come out and found the receipt crammed up inside the machine. All in all, a successful gas/wash experience. read more

Never had a problem when using curbside delivery. All items were hand picked carefully. Delivery drivers were friendly and courteous.

For the love of God , please stop letting everyone in with their non service animals. It's getting ridiculous. A couple with a fully adult German shepherd walking around the store with just a leash. No service vest or anything. Every other heb has signs and stops this stuff. read more

I love this H-E-B plus location! I literally live across the street so I'm here about 2x a week lol. It's an older location compared to the other H-E-B plus stores I've been too and can probably use a facelift, but that is okay with me. It has everything I need and more. Sidenote: A few months ago I heard about their butter flavored tortillas from the bakery section and how yummy they are...so i grabbed a pack ...and I am hooked on those! They're so yummy I can eat them alone, pop it in the microwave for 10 seconds and I'm good to go :) They tend to sell out of them often, so I make it a point to pass by the bakery on every visit and grab a pack or two if they have them. Lastly, just wanted to point out how awesome their makeup section is. I'm a drugstore makeup kind of girl, and they carry all the different brands and more and are usually fully stocked, I love it! read more

Very good Plus! superstore with helpful staff. Great samples spread throughout the store. Extensive produce department. It's way too easy to spend too much money in this store. Went in for what should have been $25 worth of groceries and the good vibes convinced me to buy an nearly $100. Only downside is that they allow solar panel salespeople to target you on the way into the store at the Palm Valley entrance. I find that really annoying and well outside the mission of providing groceries. I hope HEB's getting paid a lot of money to annoy their core customers. read more

This is a solid HEB Plus!. Quality produce that we expect from HEB is here. All the varieties of products to choose from on the aisles are here. I loved it when we first arrived in Round Rock. I've been happy with the meat and produce. The thing that has really upset me is the weevils. My pantry was infested in February. I removed every item from every drawer and cabinet. I tossed a bunch of boxed pastas (unopened but still infested), rice, flour, etc. I cleaned every inch of my kitchen, cabinets and drawers. I slowly restocked some items and BAM, July, infested again. I will never buy another grain product from HEB. read more

The king of zing!! What s great location. Huge selections! Depth of product, big lanes of products, and lots of room. Everything is bright and kept up nicely. Their produce section is off the hook... from organic to variety. There is a sushi counter, a seafood section, a meat counter, a great beer and wine department... I could go on and on. Then when you get to the front there is always lots of checkout lanes open. This HEB location rocks!! read more

Three stars for this awesome chain grocery store. We stopped in on our way back home after midnight. I appreciated that they were open late. Parking was easy and it was nice to shop without the usual crowds. Especially since Super Bowl is today and I knew it was going to be crazy in here if I waited to shop. I actually drove to two HEB stores before coming to this one the night before Thanksgiving since I couldn't find any fresh bok choy. Thank you for the great produce. I recently moved from the mountains of CO and really have enjoyed trying the HEB stores in this area. This is a good store. I really like the meat department and find it convenient to be able to pick up a few non grocery items. But they are so busy, I find it too loud, the employees make me feel like I've done something wrong. They don't smile and always seem put out. Their produce is lacking. The HEB on FM 620 is smaller but has much better produce and doesn't seem as frantic. This is the 3rd HEB I've tried and I still prefer Randall's great app, sales, meat dept and clean store with pleasant employees. read more

I know many people are rushing to grocery stores. However, if an item has a WIC symbol, please try to get something else. People use WIC ( a type of food stamp )--to feed their kids and they cannot switch over to other brands. Once a WIC approved items runs out, they either go home empty handed or pay out of pocket for another brand. H-E-B labels WIC items with a pink tag. Please stay safe! read more

Submitting Real Review. As a regular shopper to HEB, I find the selection, quality and prices are acceptable and competitive with other local markets. Sure, there are a few things, for example, items not stocked and cleanliness of the aisles, etc. but hey, nothing in Life is perfect. The curbside pickup is great. I left a 1 star only because I couldn't go any lower. They have signs outside saying "no soliciting" yet they allow Spectrum inside the store to act like a homeless person. I have provided feedback repeatedly to the store management about this yet there is no change. Today as I walked in - I deliberately walk about 50 ft to the right of the spectrum homeless camp on an effort to avoid them but was still very aggressively approached by the spectrum homeless person. I politely advised him about the sign outside regarding soliciting and asked him to stay by his table. After checking out, I once again had a discussion with a manager about the solicitation. Upon leaving - the same homeless spectrum person solicited me again. This needs to stop. read more

I love this HEB! Their curbside has always been amazing from customer service to exchanges on orders they're the best. I could get lost in this store for hours though, there's so much available, and everything is priced so well. I always find everything in here... sometimes I deviate from my list because, yes, you find more awesome stuff everytime!

Let's take a moment to talk about this location. I understand that all locations cut their hours back after the events of 2020 happened, but with work and this insane Heatwave I can't even make it to the store until about 9:30 p.m.. Now you would think that an hour and a half would be enough... and it would be except I am constantly blocked off from getting items by the night stockers. These jerks block off entire aisles, instead of just portions and if you try and holler at them a lot of times they either don't hear you or have headphones so I very often have to go without things that I need cuz I can't get to them. Don't take my word for it go look yourself. They make a complete line from one end of the back of the store to all the way down the middle to where you can't cross in many places. Try going through the cold aisle on the other side of the bread aisle where you pick up some of the Frozen stuff and the fresh sausages that are fully cooked, they have pallets upon pallets blocking all the time and there's not always someone there to move something. I have never in my entire life since I've been in Texas shop at any other store but at this point I'm almost willing to check out Walmart or Randall's just because I can't get basic needs. I understand they need to stock but they need to leave openings and they need to be available and they need to have a good attitude for the people that are still shopping while the store is still open. I did get in contact with somebody over Twitter who said they would address the issues in the store I came back to the store tonight and same problem I have to move stuff around to get to anything also they have expired product on the shelves let me post some pictures read more

I was in HEB Pharmacy line for a long time waiting to pick up medicine. I have never seen such line and a busy pharmacy with fewer pharmacy tech. The pharmacy tech staff were ok and customer oriented. HEB needs to do more. At other pharmacies Walmart, CVS they have steal bench in their waiting area, Can HEB Pharmacy improve? Large HEB store which is a plus. We are from out of town and was surprised at how rude the sushi sample lady was. She just stared at us when we came up to her counter waiting for a sushi sample. We were with our kids. She did not smile and did not say anything. I smiled and nicely asked for a sushi sample. She pointed to one on the counter that was hidden, still unsmiling. I took one for myself. My son was standing in front of me. There was 1 sample left. She stared at him and said who do you belong to. I was in disbelief and I said me I am. She said you have to be the one to take the sushi and give it to him. I understand the reasoning. What I do not understand is the poor attitude and lack of customer service. Why put a grumpy lady out to meet and greet customers when she is not a good fit?! I am unhappy that my kids had to encounter that bad experience when that lady has her own issues to deal with. read more

The absolute best HEB. Hands down this store keep us coming back. We've tried several others and the HEB on Palm Valley Road in Round Rock is our choice. We love the selections of food and friendly employees. The fresh produce is always well stocked, signs are well posted, and the store is super clean. Rarely have I seen a item out of stock. I love the patriotic theme throughout the entire store. There is a big screen tv with football games playing. What we totally love are the different cooking and beverage kiosks offered. As someone who doesn't cook very well, I've gotten several amazon recipes from Thomas in the Cooking Connection. His recommendations have been fantastic every time. I buy almost everything he suggests and have never been disappointed. His culinary education is impressive. Hal in the meat department has helped me pick out several top choices of meat. He's gone out of his way to help make my favorite black pepper and garlic crusted hamburgers before long trips when they were out of them. Thank you Hal. Every visit to this HEB is pleasant. My favorite items from this HEB include the Adams Reserve spices, especially the Jalapeño ranch, the garlic and black pepper crusted hamburgers, and the freshly salads and guacamole.
