I shop here quite often and I usually always like this HEB. They have fresh produce, good looking meat selections and are pretty organized. When stopping by today I found they had a tent set up right outside which is apparently a Friday, Saturday and Sunday thing. The prices were very resonable for Shrimp, Crawfish and/or Crab (either as a plate or by the pound). I purchased a Shrimp Plate for $12.99 (after tax). It came with a decent amount of shrimp, 1 corn on the cobb, 3 potatoes and 1 sausage (I was gifted the sausage from the person in front of me since she doesn't like sausage). Everything was very well seasoned and delicious. I'll definitely return and next time try the crab (a plate was only $14). Recommend giving them a try if they're set up when you visit! read more

This is the worst HEB I shop at. So bad, I will try to not shop here again. I'd rather spend more money at Randal's or Target where the aisles are clean and you aren't crowded out with HEB's in house shoppers. The checkers at this store basically throw your items down the conveyor where baggers, if they are available, regularly mix items that should be bagged separately. Both of which result in damaged items at home. HEB's practice of measuring checkers on items per minute foster this lack of care for the products we buy. The coupon process at HEB is constantly in error, requiring managers to over ride the mistake. read more

Pretty standard H-E-B experience. This location is always busy so I can never park near the front door. In fact parking is probably the biggest issue here. It's a good reason to use the online ordering and picking up your order rather than going into the store. Inside, it's definitely a well-maintained location with a good selection of items. Why would all HEB stores have so much curbside parking when 99 percent of the time 1or 2 cars are using it. Do you realize or know the distance your customers have to park their cars to use your store? Please try to re-do, re-study your curbside to prevent wasted valid customer parking. Mote importantly, stop your nonsense of giving preferential treatment to your curbside people. Do it right, be fair to all, use your common senses, understand your customers. read more

Good selection and handy location. I particularly like the fact that they have a gas station and a secondary register near the pharmacy side entrance. That comes in really handy when you just need to pick up a couple of things and are parked on the Greenlawn side. read more

I equate changes in packaging size with deception. The salads I love by the deli are now in containers half as deep. I pointed out a thief loading up his backpack in the produce dept to two employees who just giggled. The smaller size shopping carts are perfect for my new budget. You don't have to jump in the water to be affected by shrinkage. We're all getting hosed. Maybe HEB should invest in a few Life Guards. read more

This is my place to go no matter what. Where can you find sake, chicken ready to eat, fish like chilean sea bass, organic produce, flowers, and ice cream in the same location and that is just brushing on the surface. I know it's a grocery store but it's unique and not all HEBs are the same. I personally like this one more than others. Perhaps the one that is in University Dr is a comparison as they also carry the aged prociuto de la Parma. Not all of them do. It's so convenient!! Not to mention curb side which I love. I shop online and by the time I park my car, my groceries are ready to pick up. For a busy person, this program is great. read more

Woman's restroom is unacceptable. Feels filthy no matter when I have to use them. Water all over the sink counters. Papers on the floor. Some of the doors won't close but I can never remember which ones. Doors are so rickety it feels like they will fall off. I hate having to use them. It has been this way for at least a year and I have been waiting for them to improve but nothing has which says a lot about management. I just continue to get out as fast as I can. I like to come here during the day to grab groceries or in the evening if I forget something. That seems to happen often. I go to the store for one thing and end up buying everything but that single item I needed. This location has a lot of healthy selections compared to other locations. They used to have My Fit Foods in here. Once that went away, HEB started offering their own ready made meals. Not bad at all guys! Try one if you haven't already. Pretty convenient. I like the spring rolls they have in the Sushiya area. Unfortunately, the last few weeks I don't see this being sold anymore. They now have a mango spring roll (sorry not my thing). Pretty sad about that, but I will get over it. Also, I stopped by on Saturday to pick up tofu. They were out and the guy said they did not get a shipment of it this week. Pretty bummed, but it's ok...I went to a HEB Plus instead :) Instacart peeps are working in here so don't be shocked if you see a bunch of people zipping and zagging in the aisles. I kinda wanted to race them down the aisle, but that may be frowned upon. Luckily the wait to check out has not increased yet with these guys being here. Yay! read more

I recently moved from the mountains of CO and really have enjoyed teying the HEB stores in the area. This is one of my least favorites. I don't find it as clean as Randall's and other HEBs. I also am always disappointed in their produce. The HEB on FM 620 by far has the best produce. The HEB on Palm Valley has a better meat department and has more non grocery items. read more

HEB is a mess! Not one store like the other! Stuff is all over... no standard layout and certainly you have to be a hunter gatherer to find stuff in these stores. Why oh why?!? Crazy from one to the next... completely different! I like HEB but they make no sense! Long isles, crammed with everything, small selection and no continuity. In general their produce is top notch, the wine and beer second to none, the fresh fish meat and bakery are very nice.. but that is where the advantages end. Prices are not cheaper.. Target is less and Walmart is much less! I think HEB needs some... well merchandising and store layout planning! You rule TX HEB but could be sooooooo much better! read more

Two week ago a customer in front of me was smoking in line. No employee reported it because they let me know that the management wouldn't care or even do anything about it. Every single time I shop at this HEB I have a full cart of groceries and the lone bagger sees that and moves to a less busy line, leaving me to bag my own groceries. Manager always walks by on her phone and doesn't ever even offer to bag my groceries. I refuse to let the cashier bag the groceries because, it shouldn't be their job. Every cashier should have a bagger. If I wanted to bag my own groceries I would check out at the self checkout. But wait, I can't do that since I have more than fifteen items. Bathrooms need a remodel, scary in there. From my research, managers at this store cut long term employees hours to hire part time workers that don't even bother to show up for work. read more

I have been shopping at this store for at least 5 years. All of the employees and managers are very helpful but I don't know how this new red head even made it there. She's supposed to set an example as a front end manager and have the good customer service like every one else there. She has a rude tone and rude eyes and attitude. If it wasn't for everyone else that treats their customers right, than I would have chosen another H‑E‑B to go to. Andy in the beer and wine department went out of his way to help me find a wine I was looking for to cook with. He even suggested tips on how to cook with it. Now the deli department needs to learn some manners. I always feel like I'm inconveniencing them when they finally decide to wait on me. read more

This is a really well stocked supermarket w a lit of variety of items that you won't find in Safeway or Raleys. There's a huge selection of ciders, ales, and wines. There are Korean udon cup noodles that I've never seen in typical supermarkets. There r plenty of parking. I would love to shop here on a daily basis. read more

This is my HEB and I have never had any issues. I really liked how they handled the begging of the pandemic and the steps they have taken since. However, I still see people not wearing masks in the store. Once I asked a manager (she was in the floor talking with a few employees) what they do about people not wearing a mask and she told me she can't enforce the city mandated rule. That's it! How is that keeping us safe? I felt really let down by her response, and lost a bit of confidence. read more

This HEB is one of my favorites. It's new so of course very nice and clean. It's modern and has all the fun things you expect in a new store and in an HEB. Cute pastry items, fresh bakery bread, tons of produce, huge meat selection (that's what she said..ba dum cheeee), variety of frozen items, fresh flowers, self check out option, freshly rolled sushi, small toy and kids section, and of course all the prepackaged foods in the center aisles. There is even an electronics section in the front on the opposite side of the store from the produce section. I love how big this store is and that they have quick check outs near each of the far entrance/exits so if you just were picking up a couple things, you can check out and head straight outside. There's plenty of parking and there are gas pumps at this HEB store location. This is my go-to for groceries when I'm in Austin. read more

This is my favorite H-E-B! I have been to the one on Parmer/35 - it's never stocked with anything and the employees aren't as friendly. I've been to the one on MoPac/Parmer and it's too small - I still run in there from time to time. The Round Rock H-E-B, though? It's neat and generally stocked. I have a hard time getting produce from time to time, but I prefer my produce from Sprouts anyway. I truly adore Patrick in the seafood section and the guys in the deli...there's a younger check out guy who loves the kids, too (Greg - I saw him in there today!) - it's so cute! I went shopping here the other day and bought a container of the cubed artisan cheese from their deli area. As I was putting it on the conveyor belt I noticed the cheese had some mold on it so they went and got me a new container. Fine. When I got home, and opened the new container, it also had molded cheese in it. It is within the "sell by" date so I don't understand what's happening except it's disgusting. my son purchased a Apple gift card from this store and it shows invalid and when I went back to the store to let them know I was told that this has been happening a lot lately with gift cards being replaced with phony ones yet they werent trying to make it right. they gave me a number to corporate well corporate tells me I need to reach out to apple and once I did Apple assured me that this code is definitely invalid and that heb sold me something that was no good and are legally obligated to refund me. yet I keep getting the run around over $15 may not seem like a big deal but this is my sons hard earned money. not to mention the HEB employee took all Apple gift cards off the shelf because they told me this has been happening a lot lately make it right!! read more

I love HEB, but their cheap card readers have literally broken my card three times. It's extremely frustrating to have to order and go through the process of getting a new card. I tried to explain this to the checkout staff and they were extremely rude, telling me it's declining because I didn't have money. When I demanded they type it in, it worked like I knew it would. Why give a grocery store 5-Stars? It's simple our location on Louis Henna boulevard deserves it. The store is always clean and well stocked, plus they are always looking for ways to improve the customer experience. I am sure you have all experienced walking into an HEB somewhere, or maybe it's the store you frequent where things feel like a time capsule of 2001, not here. Most recently they reconfigured the entire store, putting items people get most in larger aisles so that more carts can fit down those aisles. They also reformatted the self check area. Instead of having it in the middle of all the regular checkout lanes they created a huge self check hub! There is an awesome floral department, huge produce section, and great butcher/ fish selection. I almost forgot our favorite feature...the store is just down the street from our house! We love our H-E-B, the staff is incredibly friendly and it really is our H-E-B *^_^* read more

I come to this H-E-B because it is the closest to my home. It's always clean and everyone is super nice. I give it four stars because their prices aren't as competitive and they don't have as much of a selection as the H-E-B on Palm Valley (maybe it's because it's an H-E-B PLUS?). Always crowded with mobs of people, we prefer the one that is on Gattis School by Redbud Lane, that is about 3-4 miles from this HEB on Louis Henna. Lots of loud, annoying birds in the parking lot, especially in the evening - very Hitchcock like. Oh, and to make matters worse, parking is a nightmare. But there is one thing that keeps us coming back to this location... its the sushi. The sushi chef there is FANTASTIC! Makes a better variety of sushi that is always fresh and always delicious. That is pretty much the only reason we go to this HEB is for the sushi. We are big, big fans. read more

I have been going to this HEB for the last 16 years. This has been the location where I do the majority of my shopping. For the 2nd time in the last year when I attempted to pay with my Visa card the payment didn't go through because the cashier had already entered my payment type as EBT. The first time this happened to me, I let it slide thinking it may have been lack of experience on the cashier's behalf, but now I'm extremely offended. Just because I'm a black woman doesn't mean that I'm on government assistance. I spend hundreds of dollars a week in your store with the money that I work hard for every day. Maybe it would be a good idea for HEB to extend or review diversity training, policies and procedures. All people of color do not use food stamps!!! read more

I'm going with the 5 stars. I can't think of any problem I've ever had here, except slight discomfort when I try and shop around 5 pm like everyone else in the entire world. Pharmacy is great - they have a drive thru, but I prefer to jump in as I've never had to stand behind more than one person in line. I go here as my primary grocery store because it's inexpensive and has a great selection of generic products. I love so many of their generic items it's kind of weird! I would honestly pay more for some of them, but they just happen to also be the cheapest one! I also like that HEB and Central Market are connected, so that I can get the random "fancy" item such as Coconut Oil, etc. that I just won't find in Randall's or Wal-Mart. read more

Store is clean and well organized, but there aren't a lot of good sales on meat. Additionally, the curbside service here is appalling. The last 5 or 6 orders I have placed have all had something wrong. They either forget some of my items, give me the wrong thing, or they are damaged beyond use. I switched back to just going inside. Fighting the crowd is less hassle than explaining to the curbside worker how tomato paste and tomato sauce are different things or that fresh cilantro doesn't go in a bag with canned goods. read more

Oh how I LOVE this damn store!! Im very particular with my grocery stores. Multiple reasons. One of my first jobs was working for HEB and it was the bomb, seriously. Anyways.. I had a faithful, long term relationship with the one on Parmer and MoPac (wow- changed!!).. then moved, and was faithful to HEB Plus in Round Rock (wtf happened?!) Slowly began seeing this Greenlawn location, but Ill be damn if there arent a few things that Red Bud HEB entices me with.... LIKE EFFING PARKING! I know you can ONLY DO SO MUCH with that teeny, overpacked center, but there is NEVER anywhere to park, and the parking lot is atrocious!! I love the functionality of this store, big time. Customer service is always pleasant (thats HEB!), prices are always good, and their generics are VERY GOOD. Product selections in general are very good quality. Great Organics section!!
