I've been going to this nail salon for a very long time and I think it is one of the best in the area. They do a great manicure and the pedicures here are really great, so relaxing with amazing leg massage, warm towels, salt scrubs, great smelling oils and comfy chairs. Everyone here is very nice and do a really nice, thorough job, no matter what the service you are getting. They are very clean and reasonably priced. Stopped in not knowing what to expect or knowing anyone who has visited this business prior. I needed my gel manicure removed which can sometimes be painful. The nail technician I had did an excellent job and probably the most pain-free experience I have had to date. I will definitely come back here and would recommend this business to others. read more

If you want a young technician that is easily grossed out if you happen to have any difficulties pampering your feet, if they happen to be especially dry and take a bit more work etc this IS the place to go. They will still hire unexperienced people who act grossed out by your feet and Make it blatantly obvious. Next thing you know the girl is hacking away at your feet with a cheese grater with a disgusted look on her face until they bleed and you get a cellulitis infection. When you finally tell the owner who has always been highly flirtatious with you he will think you are looking for money and free shit and have zero compassion for what you actually had to experience. I may have gotten some quality manicures pedicures and decent service there at times but I'd say overall go somewhere else as this is a poorly run business, terribly run, terrible ownership! Maybe management has changed but if it's the same as it was 10-15 years ago and you have an actual issue outside of a normal experience, but chances are the manager will treat you like shit for questioning how his business is run. The manicure was not the best I have had, there is actually like a clump of nail polish but I'm not too upset. The pedicure was very nice. Was in recently for a gel manicure. I could tell the young man doing it was not very experienced and did not understand much English. I always request to not have my cuticles clipped. I said this several times, yet he still proceeded to clip my cuticles. I said no again, pulled away and the man at the station next to me says, "Oh, he doesn't understand you." He then needed to tell him my request himself. The polish was layered on so thick and I could tell it was not going to last. The next day, 3 of them peeled off and several others were beginning to lift. I went in and requested that they fix it, which they were happy to do, however did not want to take the time to properly remove it. He peeled off the remaining nails (which I'm pretty sure you are not supposed to do) which left my nail beds damaged. Will not return. read more

Went here to treat myself on my lunch break. Not very busy, they took me right away, but kept pushing for a gel. Got my reg mani. Lady was on the phone "mmhmming" the WHOLE time. Nails came out meh. You can see the brush strokes on the nails, cuticles look like crap. The tips of my nails feel rough. I anticipate them chipping within the next few days. I just had the worst manicure of my life. I was the only patron getting serviced at 12pm on a weekday. There were ~10 staff members chit chatting loudly playing cards. At a table next to me. There were iced coffee cups everywhere. The man who gave me my $12 manicure spent 10 minutes max on me. My nails look awful. I was so pissed I walked out without drying. I had to leave I was going to blow up. I was disgusted by the lack of concern of customers and by the lack of professionalism displayed by the staff. No one takes pride in what they do there. Anywhere else would be better. I would drive 2 hours anywhere to get a manicure before returning. read more

No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't get into my regular salon to save my life. A good friend recommended her regular place, crystal nails & her tech is Tin. I called got an appointment with relative ease (I say relative because there it was the softest non English as a first language speaking person ever to answer a phone talking to me.) I arrived 5 minutes before my appointment. (I'd requested a mm appointment for a mani/pedi with Tin) I'm going to assume he doesn't do feet, because some chick did my pedicure. She was nice enough. A little pushy when it came to patiently waiting for me to pick a color. (There's sarcasm there, she asked what color I was looking for & I said a pretty bright pink, she tried to guess what I meant by that by asking me about several god awful colors. Overall I selected a white. It's safe. For me, anyway) I went to the very last chair, always my preference so that was delightful. The chair was comfy, the massage control easy to manage, the arms of the chair... Low. Like you'd have to be part gorilla to have arms where you elbow is that low. It was weird. As will the any pedicure I get, I asked for them to be cut short. Very short. She understood & complied. BONUS. The pedicure was simple, basic if you will. A nice added free bonus a light scrub that she briefly massaged up my calf. No hot stones, those belong to the big deluxe mortgage your house pedicure. With in 15 minutes I was being told to go sit down at Tin's station, I only knew where that was because I hovered awkwardly just long enough to be told where that was, which was where Tin was sitting, earbuds in & tablet out, which is where this previously unknown person to me was sitting when I walked in which is what leads me to believe he doesn't do feet. I sat at tin's station told him I was referred by a regular, he seemed disinterested, though from my position it was just a heads up someone likes your work more than anything else. The manicure was as the pedicure was, basic. No muss, no fuss. Turns out. I like a little fuss. I like to not sit with my neck craned to watch family feud instead a little conversation would have been nice but I'm a new mom, I've been up since 3:36a, you don't want to talk to me? Fine. Family feud it is. Tin does painfully thin coats of nail polish, if you're looking for complete opacity, three coats minimum. The UV dryers for Gel manicures is in the table which I found convenient & comfortable. The arms of the chair like the pedicure chairs were low. Overall in & out in 48 minutes. So while this won't be becoming my regular spot, in a pinch, it'll do the trick. read more

I wish I can give this negative stars. I went in with my mother to get 2 gel manicures and soon as we walked in, we wanted to leave. It was busy, so I asked how long the wait was and they simply asked us to sit at 2 empty chairs even though we insisted on leaving. Thinking it was rude to leave after sitting for 10 minutes (even though in hindsight, we should have left way before), one lady came over to do my nails. I swear she did not take more than 6 minutes to do a gel manicure. It was SO rushed and she was talking about me the whole time, I could feel it. I had to interrupt her and tell her she missed a spot a few times (again, she started talking about me to her coworkers when I pointed that out). This service was beyond rude and unprofessional. I will never be returning here again. My gel manicure lasted probably 7 hours before it started peeling. It was such a waste of money and I would never recommend this place to any friends or family if they paid me. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. read more

Very disappointed with my full set of acrylics and my daughter's gel manicure. Pretty sure it was the owner/manager who did my nails. Not sure what his name was due to the fact he didn't speak one word to me until it was time to pay. We were walk ins and they acted like we were bothering them. Place was not busy and it was 10:00 in the morning so it wasn't like the end of a busy day and they were tired. Nails are awful! All jagged around the sides and after he applied the nail polish, you can see he didn't put the acrylic right to the base of my nails and it looks like I needed a fill before even leaving the place. My other daughter asked me the following day if I had used glue on nails and painted them myself (that's how bad they look) My daughter's mani was ok, but the girl talked her into gel which is a lot more expensive and not holding up all that well. Four days into both services and I refuse to ever go back there again. Not a "thank you" or anything as we were leaving. I DO NOT recommend this place whatsoever! read more

I went to this salon for a gel mani pedi. I already had gel on my nails from previously getting my nails done elsewhere and they just ripped off the gel with no remover taking off layers of my nails with it. I did nothing crazy with my hands but within 24 hours the gel was peeling off like crazy, which is completely absurd, especially for gel. It was 9 days ago, and my nails look horrible, you can see where they want to lift!! I got a pedicure which was fine. The guy was full on sleeping on the chair had to be woken up to do my toes. But then when I got sat down to get my acrylic nails done the girl was TERRIBLE!!!! I don't know her name but tall,skinny with light brown hair. First she came over with an attitude did not say hi just sat down ..and the first thing she did was glue on the nails ....did not cut my nails to make them shorter or anything. Then her little daughter came & sat down in the same chair as her mom, pushing her so the lady was coming towards me hurting my fingers. Instead of asking nicely to push forward she yanked my whole arm. Once we were all done I had my phone and wallet on the table and was going to leave it there to tell my boyfriend to pick it up for me while I go dry them but instead she picked my items up and handed them to me which caused me to mess them up I showed her my nails without saying anything and she just rolls her eyes and says "two sit two" and then another guy had to redo them which I appreciate but the polish still came out bad. read more

I have been going to crystal nails for years. Even though I have moved far away I still go back. My fills will last 3 weeks. I have never found another place that does such a quality job. Pedicures last 2-3 weeks without chipping. They keep the place very clean I have even seen the cleaning routine when I am there late. This was my first trip to Crystal nails and I am glad I came. I really had no idea what to expect but I was in dire need of a pedicure and figured I'd give it a shot since its convenient in my daily travels. I arrived and was immediately greeted by the staff who promptly informed me they had an opening- score! The girl who assisted me was great. She worked diligently and soon my feet were rejuvenated. I have to say the leg and foot massage she gave me for just a simple standard pedicure is worth noting. I'm not sure I ever had someone pay such close attention and devote a solid 5 + minutes to making sure my feet were relaxed. I was surprisingly impressed! The price was comparable to just about everywhere else locally and it was a nice no nonsense stop for me today to get my feet back into spring condition. I will DEFINITELY visit again! read more

My friend and I have been getting pedicures and manicures at Crystals for years now! I mostly get pedicures because finger nail polish doesn't last too long for me. Every time we go in there the owners always recognize us and get us right in. My pedicures have lasted me 2-4 weeks. I've had several french manicures there recently for my wedding and wedding events and they had both last well over a week. Prices are reasonable as well. read more

It was my first time going to Crystal Nails, and I will never go back again. When I walked in I was greeted by a man spitting into his dip cup. Then I sat down in the pedicure chair and the lady didn't say hi to me. Her and the other manicurists were laughing and chit chatting the entire time. She proceeded to use DIRTY tools on my feet. I am praying I don't get any kind of infection or fungus. I watched the ladies switch off tools with my mother who was sitting next to me. My toe nails have never looked this bad, I could have given myself a better pedicure. If State Boards had walked in there the business would have been shut down. Worst manicure I've ever had. I don't usually go here but really wanted a manicure and they were open late, and I'd heard good things about them. The place itself was clean and I saw them sanitizing the tools, but the service was terrible. First of all, she was rolling her eyes at my friend and I most of the manicure and seemed like she wished we weren't there (we were out the door by the time they closed at 8 and we had called to make appointments, weren't walk ins). I told the woman I wasn't really interested in the gel polish but she told me it's great, lasts two weeks, doesn't smudge, chip, etc. For $25 I thought I'd give it a try; I'd heard good things about gel polish. Well, less than 48 hours later it was already peeling off and chipping on more than half of my fingers. The friend I went with also got the gel polish and had the same issue. I'm so upset I don't even want to go back to have them fix it, I'm just googling how to take it off myself. The pedicure I got was okay, but not spectacular.
