Crystal Palace on the north side was honestly a pleasant surprise. Walking in, I expected it to be like that movie "Roll Bounce" (that ATL Chitown hood vibe), but it was actually the complete opposite. The place was hella clean, spacious, and well put together. The music was solid too. It was a good mix of everything (nothing overly ratchet). The crowd was also respectful at the time we went, it felt very family-friendly. We showed up right when they opened at noon on a Saturday, and there was already a good-sized crowd inside because of a birthday party. Even with that, it didn't feel overcrowded. Heads up! you do have to sign a waiver when you come in. Pricing was reasonable: about $13 for admission and around $5-$6 for skate rentals (you can bring your own). Also, they charge you a 3.5% fee I think if you use a card (instead of cash). They also have skating mates available, which is clutch if you've got kids (or adults) still learning. Along the side, there's a small arcade section and plenty of seating if you just want to chill and watch. We ate beforehand so we didn't try the food, and the dining space was a good size. The employees we encountered seemed friendly and we didn't have any issues during our visit. They turned on the lights after an hour for like 10 mins and made everybody do the "Hokey Pokey" and other random games. I guess this gave an opportunity to have a little break from the normal skating. The only weird thing was there wasn't a sink inside the restrooms. It's a shared one outside. Overall, this is a solid, affordable spot for a family outing. I took my three kids here and they had a great time. JUST TAKE CASH!!!! You save 3% in the entrance and the food side only takes cash which I think is funny because the lockers are card only. They did keep the areas clean however the staff is mostly in the i don't care mood (they do have a lot of teens young adults working there) I do want to say at least the person the person in the skating ring was so nice to everyone and checked on everyone who fell. You can tell he enjoyed his job. He had the perfect attitude for the job. I kept seeing people fall and he immediately checked on them and was happy so I appreciate that. On the plus side they mostly keep in clean in there. They do charge for the things they hold while they skate by the hour we got it for 2 hours which was $8 each and I believe max was 3 hours $10 plus they ask for a $10 deposit. You get that deposit back if you return them. I will say don't just leave it there or you won't get the deposit back as they instructed me to just leave it by the door and I had to ask if I would get my deposit back. Entrance I think they only charge for the kids. (Maybe free entry with kids purchase because they said $72 for the 4 kids. NO RE-ENTRY ALLOWED!!! I reserved a party online for my child's birthday. I got confirmation via email and I gave them a call a week before the party. The employee that answered was very friendly and told me that all I needed to bring was cake and any decorations or balloons I want to bring. However, they will have our table ready with a few balloons, utensils, cups, napkins and food that was ordered. Unfortunately you cannot bring outside food. Everything went smoothly and my party host was awesome! The attendees had a great time. Prices were extremely reasonable. It's always a good time at Crystal Palace. My friends came here with me about a month ago and we skated our asses off for about two hours this time they happen to have an issue with the locker rental. I'm not sure what that was about, but we had to end up just leaving our things on the table. Another of our friends got there an hour before they were about to close and I guess you can't rent skates an hour before close not sure why but other than that it's always fun. It burns so many calories just skate in my ass around the rink I will only go to this location. Definitely don't want to drive down to Boulder Highway. The staff is nice and the line goes quick to get in. They also have walkers that you can rent there only child size. It would absolutely be amazing if they had taller ones for the adults that need the assistance just a recommendation. read more

I've been on the hunt for skating rink in town because my wife and I enjoy it. I was skeptical about Crystal Palace because I heard stories about it, especially with kids. I'm glad we went Thursday night. It's an adults only so this helped avoid any issues with kids. I'm not opposed to skating with kids but it reduces the chances of any one getting hurt or being overly crowded. Admission is $13 a person and $5 for skate rentals. You can bring your own skates along with your own water bottles. They have a concession stand inside. Came on a Thursday around 6PM. It was 25 and older night, so I expected a very mature crowd. I was amazed by the turnout and amount of expert level skaters. As you enter you sign a waiver, then proceed to the cashier. If you're skating you pay the fee (it was $18 for skates) and you get a ticket. Once you enter you see the rink, tables and to the right is the food court, and skate pick up area. They have on line skates and the classic 4 wheel skates available. Sizing is in men's sizes so if a female size one full size down for a comfortable fit. The restroom is very quaint (3 stalls) and the sink to wash your hands in outside of the restroom shared with everyone. Overall a great experience! read more

This rink has ample parking but it is a bit difficult to get in and out of if it's busy. When you arrive, you sign a liability waiver and then pay. It is not super expensive considering that there isn't a specific timeframe that you need to be out. They offer rollerskates and rollerblades for rental. The rink itself is pretty well maintained but there were some nicks on the floor, which made it hard to skate sometimes. They also do fun races for kids where the top two get a free small drink, which adds fun to the afternoon. Seems to be a fun place to host a children's birthday party. Took the kids (2 1/2, 4 1/2, 6 1/2) for their first time at a roller rink on 6/11/25. The kids loved the neon colors "glowing" from the black light. Plenty of tables and bench seating, good music, and fun colors and lights. I do appreciate they have varying heights for the skating aids kids or adults can hold onto. There was even one small enough for my 2 1/2 year old to use. However they do charge to use them, and by the hour...I believe $5/hour and $8/ two hours, it's listed on their site if you want to double check. But as if paying $13 to go in to skate, plus skate/rollerblade rentals, isn't enough. So, despite seeing that they charge for the hour for the skating aids is a bit annoying, still glad they have them for small kids to use. We did buy our 2 1/2 year old her own toddler skates and brought them as they don't have any sizes smaller than toddler size 10. We went on "Wacky Wednesday", so that offer includes two slices of pizza and a small (it's very small) drink per paying admission ($13). The pizza itself is a small size, but it was still good. The pizza was also safe for my youngest who has severe egg, sesame, and all nuts allergy to eat! Very well air conditioned inside during the hot summer weather, so even during skating you won't be getting sweaty! read more

Summer crept up quick and it's too hot to do anything but swim outside. So skating at Crystal Palace is the next best thing. We decided to visit on a Thursday, when it's $13 for admission AND two slices of pizza with a drink. I like to arrive right when it opens to avoid crowds but when we showed up at 11:05am there was a bus load of kids from a summer camp. I drove 30 minutes from Henderson because Apple Maps said Crystal Palace is open from 11-7 today. The website shows they are open until 6:00pm, then they close for private events. I got here and saw that the parking lot was empty and was so excited, then realized they're closed. The front door was even open. The only place that shows "closed" is Safari. I plan to come back, but I hope the hours of operation can be updated. read more

Crystal Palace located 32 mins away from where I live, but the drive didn't seem long. I do wish there was a place like this in the southwest area so we have access to come often. We had so much fun, and they had earlier hours from 11am as it is Spring Break. Packages came with 2 pizzas and a drink. My daughter needed the Training to hold for roller skating and my friend had to rent it out which is a separate charge. Came here during spring break with my friend and her child and skated the day away! They had special hours and opened at 11AM which was perfect! As we bought out tickets ($18.00 for skates and admission fee), we were asked if we wanted to add on their lunch special for $1.50 each which included 2 slices of pizza and a drink. That was too cheap to pass up. Also I recommend bringing cash if you plan to purchase food there. They only accept cash. When you pay for your tickets to get it, they charge a 3.2% if you pay with a credit card. I wish I had known that. As we entered, we needed to sign a waiver just in case we got hurt. After that, we went to get our skates. We also rented one support beam and it was an additional $5 for an hour but needed to make a $10 deposit. It was super fun rollerskating! It was challenging at first, but a few rounds in, we got the hang of it. This is great not just for kids but also adults! I recommend it. The pizzas tasted like the frozen pizza you get at the grocery store. It was good. They also have other things like hot dogs, fries, cotton candy etc. One thing I wish was better about our visit was the customer service at the rental station. The boy who helped us (long blonde hair) was very rude. Come on, it was our first time there. Who knew we have to put a deposit for the support beam and could trade out our roller skates for roller blades whenever we wanted? Not us. I did not appreciate the way we were treated. Skating is great for kids and prices are reasonable. They did raise the food prices and need more help in the cafe. I waited in line for 30 minutes watching one worker bust her butt going as fast as she could while three other workers did absolutely nothing. When I finally got up to the register to order they told me fries would take 20 minutes which is ridiculous. I was leaving before they would be ready unfortunately. Crystal Palace Skating Center is like walking 35 years into the past. The decor and lighting are outdated and the rental skates are too. This location is small and crowded. I think this really affects the safety of the roller rink because the age range and skill level of skaters is so why that there are a lot of collisions and falls. I also noticed that there is definitely not enough restroom stalls for the number of patrons at this location. Plus, there's only one sink where people can wash their hands for ALL guests. I think this place has a lot of potential and remodeling opportunities. read more

Took my family here to celebrate our daughter's birthday and she brought a friend along. I was really hoping for a great time but it was mediocre at best. Pros: for it to be a Saturday Night, it wasn't overcrowded... the music was loud enough to enjoy it while skating, and prices were reasonable. However ... Cons: The manager is doing a horrible job with the upkeep of the property...... The ATM machine- was out of service yet the concession area was only "cash only"....the AC wasnt set at a reasonable degree- cooling off after a few laps of skating was pretty uncomfortable, the lockers you have to buy (to store your belongings) kept eating the change without actually opening. It took the assistance of an employee and 3 lockers before we found one that worked and the drinks and food were pricey and tasted like vending machine quality. Recommended improvements: playing music from the last 5 years, placing a work order to fix the lockers, ATM Machine and cash registers. read more

Place needs a little touch up... and cleaning... It's a cool place to bring kids to hang out that enjoys roller blades... I do recommend buy your own if you'll be coming often... The lockers needs some tune up most of the lockers has a quarter stuck or just eats the quarters up. I'm not happy that you can't even bring a cake of someone has a bday that wants to blow the candle, unless you have a table "reserved" of you want to bring your own utensils and table cover you also need reservations for it too. Can't bring your own food no matter what reservation or not which kinda a bummer. Now concessions they advertise it like it's so great, ordered a pizza, pizza was hardly cooked middle part was still cold (they used pre made frozen pizza) and even that they can't bake it right. Tried the hot dog pretty decent I guess can't messed that up I mean... the concession needs to do a little better with the food and how they handle them. This place can get really busy at times but can get very slow too... So it really depends on the day and what kind of day promotion they are running. It's cool place to have kids skate around and have fun, but they can also do better for the up keep and other stuff. The security is pretty shops so far the times we came , they roam around the area and make sure everything is good and safe for the kids which is good, the skate attendants that are on the floor are pretty chill and just skates around, they also run different games for different age group which is nice. All I can say is a little update and change of rules I guess... If they don't want us to bring our own food nor even just cake or table decors at least have it on hand to purchase, and for the concession that need a lot of work, the quality of food and the way handle the food yeah needs a bunch of work and training on food handling and cooking food, I understand it's a skate place but it doesn't mean we can get a decent food esp for the price they charge for a frozen pizza cool it good at-least. read more

We came here for home school skate morning, which is the third Friday of every month from 10 AM to 1, and it was really fun for my kids! They are 5 and 2 years old. The reason we picked this location is because they have this thing called a skate mate that helps the kids skate without a parent having to hold them. it's perfect for a beginners and little kids and you don't have to hurt your back as much bending over to guide them. The skate rental was five dollars. But I think during normal hours or events it costs five or $12 depending on how long you decide to rent it for-- one hour or two hours or three hours. And you have to give a deposit of $10 to rent it. The cost was $9.50 for admission which included skates and a slice of pizza and drink. It was actually pretty packed because we went during the summer but I think it will be less people on these special days when all the kids go back to school. There was ample parking, and we were lucky enough to get a little booth to sit and eat our lunch, if you want to get a spot because it can fill up pretty quickly. All the families seem really nice and was really understanding when my kids were going around with the skate mates and being pretty crazy a little. They had a DJ who was hosting everyone for limos and races for kids at different ages. They also had someone monitoring the skating floor at all times for people who are roughhousing or skating the wrong direction. The snack bar was a little bit understaff so the line was really long, but the lady that was working worked really hard so I just felt a little bad for her. And everything is cash only! I didn't know that so I actually ran out of cash and had to pay credit card which charges you a little extra fee. Not a huge deal but next time I'm gonna bring cash for sure. This location also had claw machines in the arcade games for one dollar each to play. That occupied my little one for a bit when he didn't want to skate anymore. They also had bathrooms there that were decently clean, but probably could've used a little bit of a spruce up. And the parking lot was pretty huge so we didn't have any trouble finding parking you got there. When you arrive, you have to sign a waiver and they give you a wristband to enter and then you pay. We brought our own skates and we didn't have to wait in line to rent the skates which made things a little little bit faster for us. Overall was really fun and I would recommend this to other people who are interested in teaching their kids how to rollerskate or to just have a good experience. However, I can see it can get really busy and a little bit unsafe for a little kids on the weekends when there are more families and big kids their skating. I think on a weekday was perfect for us because I had beginner kids. I do wish that they had more exits and entrances to the rink. There's only two towards the front, but if there was one in the back or even two in the back, it would've been great because my kids couldn't make it all the way around the circle without getting a little freaked out so we could only go back-and-forth in the front where there were exits. I think they'll do better when they get older but they just had fun staying around on the carpet but there was an exit at the back they could skate on the hardwood floor exit and then skate back on the carpet which was a little bit safer for them because they were so young. Adult skate night!! We came here with some friends for a throwback birthday night and had a blast! They played mainly 90's music on this night and some 80's. We all dressed up and saw that many others did too! It was under blacklight so we loved how a lot of our neon colors glowed as well. We felt it wasn't too overcrowded and a decent amount of space for everyone. The rink was very smooth and felt the skates we rented there were just fine! Decent pricing, overall. They do accept card for admission and skate rental but only cash for the snack bar/soda. I saw an ATM there though not sure it'd be worth it for such small amounts you'd be paying. The bathrooms were smaller but only had one sink for everyone to share for both bathrooms (which again, we felt wasn't too big of a deal for the amount of people there). My whole family loves rollerskating so it was only right to go to Crystal Palace as a reward for them! We like this roller skating rink because they have Skate Mates. This makes it 100x easier with our 4 year old who doesn't quite have her balance down yet. We went on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't very busy. It was nice to skate around with people of all levels. My main complaint is the lack of safety corrections. For example, there were multiple kids cutting across the rink or not going the right way. This is dangerous for them and others. It was cool but a little annoying that they stopped skating every hour for games for the kids (limbo and races). The games are cool but for safety reasons no one can skate during the games. Makes sense but if you're in your groove, you don't really want to have to stop. read more

Today's deal was $10 per person including admission, skate rental, two slices of pizza and a soda. I can't think of many activities that are as affordable as that for families. The facility (including the bathroom) was clean. The employees were attentive. Covid mitigations were great. Upon entering we signed waivers (for adults) and they took our temperature.
