Came here for the first time. I witnessed a waitress putting butter into single serve containers and wiping it with her bare finger. She had no gloves on. She was touching her mouth, her jeans, a dirty rag, other services while continuing to make single serve butter for customers to use while wiping with her finger. She is cutting raw fruits with no gloves, she is not hand washing in between, she has no hair net, or gloves. I will be reporting this to health inspectors for the state of Maryland and contains the business owner. I am disgusted that this type of behavior is being done within the eye of the public. This person could have and spread any number of communicable diseases. If she is infected with the any virus or bacteria she is infecting an entire restaurant. This is how health related emergencies, hospitalization and deaths occur. read more

Crystals was recommended by the anchorage hotel we were staying at. They were very busy but we were seated right away. Food was good but our waiter bob was not. From giving us coffee to taking our order. He never spoke. How are you? Do you need anything? Not even a thank you! We had to catch him to ask for ketchup and syrup. He never said anything. He picked it up from another table that people were seated at flopped it on the table and left again. The only thing he said was "are you ready or do you need a minute" . I only know his name when a gentleman gave him his tip and said thanks Bob! I guess if you are not a regular you don't count! read more

My partner and I have been visiting Crystal Restauarant for over fifteen years, never had a bad meal, never had anything but professional and friendly wait staff, et al. Keith and I always try to have Richard serve our table. We have developed a relationship that makes us feel like old friends. Keith and I have seen the employees come and go but the restaurant holds steadfast and has the continuity and consistency other establishments could only hope to attain. My only negative comment is Crystal Restaurant closes at 2:oo PM and serves no dinner. Sadly, we move on. jim read more

This is my all-time favorite breakfast place down near the beach. Their food is always homemade and delicious. The service is fast and the staff is super friendly, and you can tell its a local favorite. Prices and portions are great -- you won't leave hungry! No trip to Rehoboth is complete without a trip to the Crystal! read more
