Know one offered to help . No one even acknowledged I was there. Which is poor customer service . Which means I purchase a high end sleeping bag from another retailer . If you expect to have loyal customers in an online retail market , which I don't support . I suggest the store show some common curtesy and ask can I help or direct you. You would have made a $$$ since bags that I'm interested in are{ - 5 to -25 F}range bags not cheap .

No waiting until the end of the year, just immediate savings. It really inspires return business, which no doubt is the point. The store is not huge and therefore the selection could be greater for certain things (I'm looking at you, camp stoves), but what is available is well-curated. Also, the staff is friendly and helpful, parking is solid, and the area is serviced by the HOP bus, so it's easy to get to even if you aren't driving. You earn dollar points and they always remind you when buying something that you have some and ask if you want to use them. I have earned some buying items online occasionally and did not even know I had them until offered at the checkout here. The staff is very relaxed and extremely helpful and friendly. There is a fun atmosphere you can see right at the door with their sidewalk placard that often has jokes or trivia. This is a small place but tightly packed with stock.

They are able to provide minor product repairs in-store and mail larger repairs away at no charge. Should they not be able to fix your larger repair (most recently for me it was some buttons that popped off my jean short pockets) they will either provide you store credit towards a new item or return the item back to you. While their gear may be an investment they really back up their quality. Not to mention, they don't even have a time limit on returns!

From the outset in making the reservation, then having to modify it via a phone call, to getting to Crystal & having the staff take care of me & my family was first class all the way! We suffered the "carmageddon" at the Denver airport 3/15/21 & couldn't make it to Boulder til the next day. When we got there to get our equipment, Clayton couldn't have been more helpful making it happen for me, my novice wife & beginner 18 yr old getting the right gear for us all. We took it up to the mountain & it was just what we needed. Thanks to all the staff at Crystal, and particuarly to Nina who was so understanding of our situation. snow shoes and ski rental with a side of insight and advice While visiting Boulder we decided late in the afternoon end of February to take in a quick snow shoe & cross country outing. We popped into Crystal, filled out the necessary forms so that we could rent equipment. Only $10 for snow shoes that could be returned by 10:00am the next day! Nice young guy asked all the right questions to fitting properly for both cross country skis, shoes, poles as well as snow shoes. I liked that he confirmed where we were headed, giving proper caution to the lateness of the day. Knowing the area well giving us the heads up on a road that may be closed. I called today looking for a speedy turn around to get my bindings mounted to my skis, and they are slammed right now but they fit me in. The guy who talked to me on the phone recognized my voice when I came in the shop and he's going to do the job tonight. They are very knowledgeable about what they do, and their tunes and waxings are top-flight. Compared to other good ski shops in town, Chrystal stands out. They have a techy sensor pad that examines your feet and makes suggestions about sizing, type of shoes, and brands, then makes suggestions, taking so much of the subjectivity out of the equation. Mike knew his stuff and gave me a pair of options. Both were extremely comfortable and had a great feel. It was a tough call, but the New Balance option emerged victorious and was on sale! They also have a Happy Fit policy, backing up your purchase for 60 days, and will price match. I added some summer running gear and nabbed a calf sleeve Mike recommended with solid reasoning and measurements. In addition, they have incredible apparel and a running club that prepares people for distances and races. Boulder Running Company has joined Fleet Feet, the largest running specialty retailer in the nation. What a great pairing, helping people like me looking for running advice. This will end up being my Go-To running store.

I haven't joined a group run quite yet tho my understanding is that they offer a few different distances, routes, and groups running at different speeds. Last night I attended their first ladies event. While I wasn't able to make it to the 4:30 pm run, I was happy to attend the evening of fun that followed. With my two best gal pals in tow we took in this store and event. Upon walking in the door we were impressed by the large crowd of attendees and jamming' tunes. There was so much to eat and so much to do. For starters there was a sports bra fitting offered by Brooks, a libations table offering champagne, wine, and beer, multiple food stations with a chocolate fountain, cookies, fruits, pot stickers, deviled eggs, chicken, spring rolls, chips and three layer dip, and more. These ladies obviously know how to throw a party. The fun didn't stop there. We enjoyed a fashion show which displayed the hottest running fashion gear and trends followed by a raffle. Now this was no ordinary raffle, they gave out nearly twenty killer prizes. From free sports bras, to special edition tanks, to gift certificates to the store, to Nike bags, every winner was elated. The only strange thing was a group of ladies that somehow amassed a pile of raffle tickets as some of their friends had left the event (they took home about 1/3 of the prizes tho they did spread the tickets among themselves). All fun aside In Motion had a plethora of beautiful running sneakers, clothing, accessories, and hydration supplements. If you fall in love with a product and they don't have the size you are looking for let them know and they'll happily order it for you. There's a lounge with plenty of seating, Eldorado water, and a station of nearly every foam roller and rehab stick you can find. There's also an in house physical therapist and massuese, truly a one stop shop. Definitely check this place out for your running and fitness needs!
